In our yesterday's outreach, I asked some of the children to tell me what they don't like about their parents.
Some said because they beat them 😅 and I asked can your parents beat you without a cause?
But two of the children said something that got me.
One said she dislike her mother because she love to use abusive words on her and sometimes curse her, that after the mother will be begging her for her words that it's the girl that caused it.
Parents the words you say can make or mar your child. Words are like egg which when fallen cannot be packed, even if you apologize the did has been done. Many child's life have been condemned due to the negative ulterances by their parents.
Learn to be calm, patient, control yourself, control your anger and think twice before you alter negative words on your child.
One child said he dislike her parents because they are partial. That they only hear what his younger sister says and not ask from him but instead will start beating him.
The boy sees his parents has been partial and love his sister more than him.
Children will surely fight but the way we settle disputes among our children matters alot, we shouldn't be too judgemental on one or partial. We should always correct in love. Don't praise or hail one for another.
