The day of ‘Arafah is a day on which the might of Allah Almighty and His mercy towards His slaves become evident, thus you should show Allah Almighty goodness in yourselves.

Fill it with various kinds of acts of worship, i.e. takbīr, tahlīl, tasbīh, tahmīd, reciting Qur’an…etc.
Beseech Allah humbly, repent to Allah Almighty and ask for sins to be forgiven, bad deeds to be pardoned and status to be raised because no sin is too great for Allah to forgive.

The Prophet (may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him) said, “Shaytān is not considered more abased or more cast out or more contemptible or more angry on any day than on the day of ‘Arafah. That is only because he sees the descent of the Mercy and Allah's disregard for great wrong actions. That is except from what he was shown on the day of Badr.” Narrated by Mālik in al-Muwatta’

The virtue of fasting the day of ‘Arafah:

The Prophet (may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him) said, “Fasting the day of ‘Arafah I hope Allah will expiate thereby for the year before it and the year after it.” Narrated by Muslim
Al-Nawawi said, “They said: what is intended by sins, is minor sins. If not, then it is hoped that the burden of major sins will be lightened. If that is not the case, then one’s status will be raised.”
[Sharh Sahīh Muslim]

👉Seeking ways to strengthen one’s relationship with Allah and improve as a Muslimah. Here are some suggestions that might help you on this journey:

1• *Strengthen Your Faith (Iman):* Continuously seek knowledge about Islam by reading the Quran, Hadith, and other Islamic literature. Understanding your faith deeply can strengthen your connection with Allah.

2• *Regular Prayer (Salah):* Establish and maintain your five daily prayers. Salah is a direct link between you and Allah. Try to perform them in the appropriate time with concentration and sincerity.

3• *Supplication (Dua):* Regularly make dua, asking Allah for guidance, forgiveness, and strength. Dua is a powerful tool for building a personal connection with Allah.

4• *Good Character (Akhlaq):* Strive to embody the character of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) by being honest, kind, patient, and just in your dealings with others.

5• *Charity (Sadaqah):* Give to those in need, whether through financial means or by offering your time and effort. Charity is a way to purify your wealth and soul.

6• *Seek Forgiveness (Istighfar):* Regularly ask for Allah’s forgiveness for any shortcomings or sins. This shows humility and recognition of our dependence on Allah’s mercy.

7• *Modesty and Humility:* As a Muslimah, dress modestly and conduct yourself with humility and dignity. This reflects your inner faith and respect for Islamic values.

8• *Gratitude (Shukr):* Be thankful for the blessings in your life, both big and small. Gratitude increases your awareness of Allah’s presence and mercy.

9• *Community Involvement:* Engage with good Muslimah in your community and attend Islamic classes from the Sunnatic scholars to learn more about your religion.

10• *Reflection and Self-Improvement:* Regularly reflect on your actions and intentions. Strive to improve yourself continuously, both spiritually and morally.

Remember, the journey to becoming a better Muslimah is ongoing, and it’s important to be patient and consistent.
🤲May Allah guide us and grant us success in our efforts. Ameen.
