In the time of the Messenger of Allah eating twice in a day was considered an absolute luxury. I swear by Allah, the Prophet ﷺ spent much of his life only eating dates and drinking water or he'd have vinegar and simple barley bread, yet there was not a man on this planet more content than him. Sometimes, he'd wake up in the morning and ask his noble wives if there was anything to eat in his home, and at times they would say that there was not a single thing to eat, so you know what he would do? He would fast the entire day, and at night, he'd have rocks attached to his stomach out of hunger, yet he would stand and cry in thankfulness and say, "Shall I not be a grateful servant?"
When many of us wanted to eat a dinner, we'll have tables filled with drinks, fruits, starters, mains, desserts and tea, and later for Breakfast or Lunch we will have cupboards and fridges full of things to eat and indulge in, but the question is, will we say "Alhamdulillah?' will we truly feel the sensations of being content? Will we stand up to worship Him after His blessings? Will we thank Him for everything He has given? If we are grateful, we will see Allah increasing us. ALHAMDULILLAH.! ALHAMDULILLAH..!! ALH...!!!🤲🙏🙏🙏
