Promotion Cometh!

Psalms 75
6. For promotion cometh neither from the east, nor from the west, nor from the south.

Proverbs 12
24. The hand of the diligent shall bear rule: but the slothful shall be under tribute.

* Promotion comes from the Lord but Stagnation and Demotion comes from many things.

* Dedication, Excellence and Growth are necessary elements that shows God that we are ready for promotion.

* May the Lord disgrace everyone working against your promotion in Jesus name.

Power to Witness.

Acts 1
8. But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.

* Aside from holy living, another purpose of the Holy Spirit upon a believer is empowerment to witness Christ. If the Holy Spirit has come upon you, you have the responsibility to witness Christ.

* Speaking in tongue without winning souls for Christ is a waste of divine resources.

* Want to have joy? Witness Christ!

* The surest way to experience joy is evangelism, and you don't have to wait for your church to declare evangelism week/weekend before venturing into it.

* Talk to somebody about Jesus today. Encourage someone to repent of his/ her sins and give his/her life to Jesus Christ today.

* Your joy will be full.

God's family.

Matthew 12
46. While he yet talked to the people, behold, his mother and his brethren stood without, desiring to speak with him. 47. Then one said unto him, Behold, thy mother and thy brethren stand without, desiring to speak with thee. 48. But he answered and said unto him that told him, Who is my mother? and who are my brethren? 49. And he stretched forth his hand toward his disciples, and said, Behold my mother and my brethren! 50. For whosoever shall do the will of my Father which is in heaven, the same is my brother, and sister, and mother.

* Your church members are not your enemies. They are your family members.

* As members of God family, we all have the responsibility of spreading love and promoting the will of God especially within the family.

* 'Matthew 6: 10' is the pursuit of every genuine family member.

* Why stay outside? Why the distance? Why the communication gap?

* There is no point staring from outside. Surrender your life fully to Christ today, run away from sins and embrace holiness to enjoy the full benefits in Christ Jesus.

*Right Company*

Luke 1
_41. And it came to pass, that, when Elisabeth heard the salutation of Mary, the babe leaped in her womb; and Elisabeth was filled with the Holy Ghost: 42. And she spoke out with a loud voice, and said, Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb._

* Elizabeth and Mary were not mere relatives. They were both carrying great destinies. I beseech you to strengthen and constantly service as many as such relationships you have.

* There was a great connection between the babies in their wombs. There is no point worrying yourself to make unedifing relation work at all cost. If there is no connection between what you carry and what the other party is carrying, you may need to devote less time for such relationships.

* As soon as Elizabeth heard the salutation of Mary, three things happened to her: The baby in her womb leaped: she was filled with the Holy Ghost and released prophetic blessing upon her. *_*Right companies bring multiple dimensions of blessings to your life._**

* If you always struggle to connect with a person or an environment, it may be an indication that you are not in the right company and environment.

* It is time to cut off from the parasitic relationships and *_commit yourself to building an edifying relationship with destiny/purpose minded people._*

*God of Increase.*

1 Corinthians 3
_3. For ye are yet carnal: for whereas there is among you envying, and strife, and divisions, are ye not carnal, and walk as men? 4. For while one saith, I am of Paul; and another, I am of Apollos; are ye not carnal? 5. Who then is Paul, and who is Apollos, but ministers by whom ye believed, even as the Lord gave to every man? 6. I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase. 7. So then neither is he that planteth any thing, neither he that watereth; but God that giveth the increase. 8. Now he that planteth and he that watereth are one: and every man shall receive his own reward according to his own labour._

* Envy, Strife, and Divisions are manifestations of canarlity.

* Every Paul needs an Apollos, and every Apollos needs a Paul. God will reward everyone according to his level of diligence and commitment to God's expectation of his life.

* Increase only comes from God. Laboring in the spirit on onenness guarantess and fastback the delivery.

* It is expedient to make God the center of attraction and not us as we labor for the advancement of His kingdom, agenda, and program on earth.

*DATE* : Monday, 18th May, 2020.
*TOPIC* : YOU SHALL TEACH YOUR CHILDREN.
*TEXT* :Deuteronomy 6:1-25 (NLT)
[1]“These are the commands, decrees, and regulations that the lord your God commanded me to teach you. You must obey them in the land you are about to enter and occupy,
[2]and you and your children and grandchildren must fear the lord your God as long as you live. If you obey all his decrees and commands, you will enjoy a long life.
[3]Listen closely, Israel, and be careful to obey. Then all will go well with you, and you will have many children in the land flowing with milk and honey, just as the lord, the God of your ancestors, promised you.
[4]“Listen, O Israel! The lord is our God, the lord alone.
[5]And you must love the lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your strength.
[6]And you must commit yourselves wholeheartedly to these commands that I am giving you today.
[7]Repeat them again and again to your children. Talk about them when you are at home and when you are on the road, when you are going to bed and when you are getting up.
[8]Tie them to your hands and wear them on your forehead as reminders.
[9]Write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates.
[10]“The lord your God will soon bring you into the land he swore to give you when he made a vow to your ancestors Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. It is a land with large, prosperous cities that you did not build.
[11]The houses will be richly stocked with goods you did not produce. You will draw water from cisterns you did not dig, and you will eat from vineyards and olive trees you did not plant. When you have eaten your fill in this land,
[12]be careful not to forget the lord, who rescued you from slavery in the land of Egypt.
[13]You must fear the lord your God and serve him. When you take an oath, you must use only his name.
[14]“You must not worship any of the gods of neighboring nations,
[15]for the lord your God, who lives among you, is a jealous God. His anger will flare up against you, and he will wipe you from the face of the earth.
[16]You must not test the lord your God as you did when you complained at Massah.
[17]You must diligently obey the commands of the lord your God—all the laws and decrees he has given you.
[18]Do what is right and good in the lord’s sight, so all will go well with you. Then you will enter and occupy the good land that the lord swore to give your ancestors.
[19]You will drive out all the enemies living in the land, just as the lord said you would.
[20]“In the future your children will ask you, ‘What is the meaning of these laws, decrees, and regulations that the lord our God has commanded us to obey?’
[21]“Then you must tell them, ‘We were Pharaoh’s slaves in Egypt, but the lord brought us out of Egypt with his strong hand.
[22]The lord did miraculous signs and wonders before our eyes, dealing terrifying blows against Egypt and Pharaoh and all his people.
[23]He brought us out of Egypt so he could give us this land he had sworn to give our ancestors.
[24]And the lord our God commanded us to obey all these decrees and to fear him so he can continue to bless us and preserve our lives, as he has done to this day.
[25]For we will be counted as righteous when we obey all the commands the lord our God has given us.’

*LESSON*
1. We are commanded to fear the Lord with our children all the days of our life. Generational reverence guarantees generational blessings. (vs 1-2)

2. Total Obedience commands prosperity and fulfilment of God's promises. (vs 3)

3. It is your duty as a parent to repeatedly employ different means to teach your children to fear the Lord and keep His commandments.

4. We also have the obligation to enlighten our children and rehearse before them, God's dealings with us both in the past and present which has established His faithfulness in our lives.
