Happy New year friends. More than anything in this 2019, Let us be more biblical in all we do. Let our preaching be Christ-centred . Let us live Christ-centred lives this year.Let our politicians fear God. Let them not engage themselves in ungodly practices. Let's do all things with Eternity in view. There is a day of reckoning when we shall all give account of how we lived our lives and transacted our businesses here on earth. Let's not give that account in tears and regrets. It is time to listen to the Lord Jesus and have a rethink about this sublime individual on whom the entire New Testament centres.Whose simple life and teaching has made such an impact on this world. How can you live without giving a thoughtful consideration to the personal invitation of this gracious one ? " Here is a man" says Philip Brooks, " who was born in a lowly manger, the child of a peasant woman. He grew up in an obscure village. He worked in a carpenter shop untill he was thirty, and for three years he was an intinerant preacher. He never wrote a book. He never held an office. He never went to college. He never owned a house . He never had a family. He never traveled two hundred miles from the place where he was born. He never did one of the things that usually accompany greatness. He had no credentials but himself. He had nothing to do with this world except the power of his devine manhood . While still a young man the tide of popular opinion turned against him. His friends ran away. One of them denied him. He was turned over to his enemies. He went through a mockery of a trial. He was nailed upon a cross between two thieves. His executioners gambled for a piece of property he had on earth while he was dying- his coat. When he was dead he was taken down and laid in a borrowed tomb through the pity of a friend. Nineteen wide centuries have come and gone. Today he is the center-piece of the human race and the leader of the column of progress. Iam within the mark when I say that all the armies that ever marched,and all the navies that were ever built, and all the parliaments that ever sat, and all the king's that ever reigned, put together, have not affected the life of man upon this earth as powerful as has that one solitary life" How can you ignore a man like this ?How can this man's life not matter so meaningfully in your life. I suggest that you set some time aside this 2019 and seek the face of this sublime person to know him and have him as your Lord and Saviour for the rest of your life. Happy New year !

There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. Why? Because Christ Jesus substituted for them, by becoming sin for them and in turn inputting His righteousness upon them. He pulled them out from under the law of sin and death and brought them in, under the law of the spirit of life in Christ Jesus. They, through their faith in Him, identified with Him in His suffering for them, became partakers with Him in His glory. All are invited to come share with His joy. Shalom!

The Gospel Shaped Living is marked and characterized by
1. Peaceful existence.
2. Godliness with contentment . Godlike character.
3. Quietness.It is not lousy with material possessions.
4. Dignity- a dignified living
5. Praying with all kinds of prayers for the salvation of all men. If anyone claims to have believed The Gospel of Our Lord Jesus Christ, let him look out for the characteristics of a Gospel shaped living in himself, then may he profess to have believed in Christ. Read 1Timothy. 1:1-7,Isaiah.30;15-17,32:17-18.

Where are you headed friends ? Are you aware that you are on a journey that began in time which will end in eternity ? Are you sure and certain what life holds for you on the other side of eternity ? Who even paved the path on which you are now en-route eternity ? What do you believe in ? And have you critically examined the components of your belief ? . It seems to be a common belief of all men that sin is a bad thing, especially in religious circles.

Again it seems all men the word over preach and favour good morals and deeds. But have you noticed how hard it is to do good ? Have you also found out that it is rather easier to do the bad things you hate doing ?

Our noblest intentions to always refrain from sin and stick to good deeds have not always been successful. The more we tried to do good, the more we failed. By the way, you are not alone ! This is a common experience of all men all over the world.

However the story changes once a soul embraces the Gospel and turns to Jesus Christ of history, the only begotten son of God, who sacrificed his life on Calvary's cross in order to secure the forgiveness of sin and give victory to everyone who believes and puts his/her trust in Jesus Christ.

The best way to navigate through the year 2017 is to embrace the Gospel of Jesus Christ and trust in Jesus Christ alone to save you. And it will be testimonies of the Lord's salvation and victory . Shalom !

Grace gives us what we do not deserve. for instance, we do not deserve to be accepted in God's family by reason of our sinfulness, yet we are brought in through Christ-that is GRACE. But mercy is the other side of the coin. It does not give us what we do deserve, for example, we deserve to roast in an unquenchable fire of hell because we defied God and broke His laws but His mercy spares us and says don't take them there-that is MERCY. Have received God's Grace and Mercy ? You obtain both by putting your total trust in the Lord Jesus Christ to save you from all your sins. Do it now and you will experience the joy of salvation
