We Lost her but HEAVEN Gained Her: Rev.Mother Mary Martha Onwuachi,EHJ. Some said: What a Day to Die!. November 2nd, 2022 on All Souls Day!. On this same day 57 years ago, our Founder Archbishop Leo Hale Taylor was buried. Indeed Heaven welcomed her among the Saints and there she will dwell forever with her Spouse Our Lord Jesus Christ. Mother Martha has finally gone to meet her creator. A Woman of Great Worth, a woman whose heart is made with gold, a woman whose memories will remain indelible. She was a Mother to all, and to many she merit to be our grandmother and great-grandmother. Yes, the oldest in our Institute. We thank God for a life well lived, a life lived in charity, a life full of love and goodness. Your bed is well dressed Mother Martha, sleep has come at once, a perfect sleep on this beautiful day! SLEEP ON THEN SWEET MOTHER!

He was a noted Educationist and linguist,an orator, warm hearted and easily approachable. Above all, he was a lover of the Eucharist, no wonder the name he gave the Religious Institute he founded.

The 80th Anniversary of the Foundation of the Institute of the Sisters of the Eucharistic Heart of Jesus

There are important dates and days in our lives that cannot easily be ignored. Such days remind us of important and momentous events that matters to us.

Taking out time to celebrate such days can speak memories of happy times in the early days connecting to the present.

The Institute of the Sisters of the Eucharistic Heart of Jesus begins the Countdown to the 80th Foundation Anniversary of our Institute.

An Institute founded on January 18, 1943 by Most.Rev.Leo Hale Taylor,SMA (of Blessed Memory) the First Archbishop of Lagos. His 57th Death Anniversary occurs tomorrow October 27th...and on such day, the Institute will celebrate the Opening Mass of the 80th Anniversary of her existence. Join us in prayers as we begin the countdown to the 80th Foundation Anniversary on January 21, 2023.
