THEME: YOU MUST FULFIL DESTINY

DAY THREE β€” SATURDAY

TOPIC: THE GIFT OF POWER

TEXTS: Luke 24:49; 2 Timothy 1:7

---

INTRODUCTION

It takes power to function.

When something is not working as it should, one of the things to consider is whether there is sufficient power to make it function effectively.

In the same way, anything that must make a difference must carry power.

Destiny requires power. It is not enough to have a vision or an assignment; you need the power to execute what God has placed in you.

Luke 24:49 β€” Jesus instructed His disciples to wait until they were endued with power from on high.

---

THE GIFT OF POWER

1. POWER IS REQUIRED TO FUNCTION

Man was merely a structure until God breathed life into him.

Genesis 2:7

It was the breath of God that transformed the formed body into a living being.

This shows us that structure alone is not enough. You can have ability, intelligence, opportunity, and resources, but you still need divine empowerment to fulfill God's purpose effectively.

Β«It is not just what you carry; it is the power behind what you carry.Β»

---

2. POWER MAKES A DIFFERENCE

Anything that must make a meaningful difference must carry power.

1 Corinthians 4:20
"For the kingdom of God is not in word, but in power."

Words are important, but there must be power behind what we represent.

Your destiny must carry the power to produce results.

Β«If your destiny is powerless, it cannot produce the results it was designed to produce.Β»

---

3. POWER TO COMMAND ATTENTION

Power attracts attention because power produces results.

Luke 10:19

Jesus gave His disciples authority and power over the forces that opposed them.

When God empowers a person, their life begins to demonstrate the evidence of that empowerment.

The goal is not to seek attention for yourself, but to carry enough of God's power to effectively accomplish your assignment.

---

ASK YOURSELF: WHAT IS MY POWER LEVEL?

You must become conscious of your spiritual capacity.

Ask yourself:

- Am I growing spiritually?
- Is my prayer life growing?
- Am I becoming more sensitive to the Holy Spirit?
- Do I depend on God's strength or only on my own ability?
- Is there evidence of God's power working through my life?

Be sensitive to your power level.

Do not wait until you are completely depleted before you recognize that you need spiritual renewal.

---

4. POWER TO SERVE AND HELP OTHERS

Luke 10:34

God's power should not only be demonstrated; it should also be used to bring help, healing, restoration, and strength to others.

True spiritual power is not for pride or self-glorification. It is for service and the fulfillment of God's purpose.

---

5. POWER THROUGH THE ANOINTING

1 Samuel 16:13

When Samuel anointed David, the Spirit of the Lord came upon him.

There was a divine empowerment for the assignment ahead of him.

This teaches us that certain assignments require a dimension of grace and empowerment beyond natural ability.

TWO DIMENSIONS OF POWER

1. POWER TO FULFIL

You need power to accomplish your God given assignment.

There are things you cannot accomplish by human strength alone.

Zechariah 4:6 reminds us that God's work is accomplished not merely by human might or power, but by His Spirit.

2. POWER TO PRESERVE

It is not enough to reach a destination; you need grace to remain there.

You need power to preserve:

- Your faith
- Your character
- Your testimony
- Your assignment
- Your spiritual life
- The results God has given you

The same God who empowers you to fulfil destiny can empower you to preserve what He has entrusted to you.

You must fulfil destiny!

DAY TWO β€” FRIDAY

TOPIC: DESTINY ESSENTIALS

TEXTS: Matthew 5:13; 1 John 1:1–2

INTRODUCTION

Destiny is not fulfilled by desire alone. There are certain essentials that must be developed and sustained if a person will successfully fulfill God's purpose for their life.

Matthew 5:13 reminds us that we are the salt of the earth. Salt has value because of what it carries and what it contributes.

Your destiny is connected to the value you carry.

1 John 1:1–2 shows us that the apostles knew Christ through what they had heard, seen, looked upon, and handled.

This teaches us an important principle:

What you have encountered, learned, experienced, and handled contributes to what you carry.

DESTINY ESSENTIALS

1. SKILL AND CAPACITY

Your skill is part of what you carry into destiny.

Skill must be developed. You cannot depend only on talent; you must build capacity.

The more capacity you develop, the more responsibility you can handle.

Talent may open a door, but capacity helps you remain relevant.

2. KNOWLEDGE OF GOD

One of the greatest essentials for fulfilling destiny is knowing God.

It is not enough to know about God; you must develop a personal relationship with Him.

The more you know God, the better you understand His ways, His instructions, and His purpose for your life.

3. EXPERIENCE β€” THE THINGS YOU HAVE HANDLED

What you have handled in life becomes part of your capacity.

Some experiences may not have been pleasant, but they can become lessons that strengthen you.

Your experiences can give you wisdom, maturity, and the ability to help others.

4. RESILIENCE

Resilience is the ability to bounce back.

It is the ability not to break when life puts pressure on you.

Destiny will require you to develop the capacity to withstand challenges without abandoning your purpose.

You may bend, you may be tired, and you may face difficult seasons, but you must learn how to rise again.

The ability not to break is a destiny essential.

HOW TO BUILD RESILIENCE IN A WEARY WORLD

1. PRACTICE GRATITUDE

Learn to be grateful.

The ability to complain is a privilege given only to the living.

That thing that is making you complain may actually be another reason to be grateful.

Instead of focusing only on what is wrong, recognize what is still working.

Be grateful for life. Be grateful for growth. Be grateful for the opportunity to try again.

Sometimes, what you are complaining about is evidence that you are still alive and have another opportunity to make things better.

2. PRACTICE SELF-LOVE

Learn to value yourself.

Speak positively about yourself. Do not constantly tear yourself down with your words.

Learn how to encourage yourself, appreciate your progress, and elevate yourself.

Self-love is not pride. It is recognizing that you are valuable and treating yourself with the dignity God has given you.

If you constantly speak down on yourself, you weaken your confidence. Learn to speak life to yourself.

KEY TAKEAWAYS

Build your skill.

Increase your capacity.

Know God deeply.

Learn from what you have handled.

Develop resilience.

Practice gratitude.

Learn to value and encourage yourself.

Do not allow difficult seasons to break your commitment to destiny

Destiny requires preparation.

What you carry determines the value you bring.

You must fulfil destiny!

THEME: I SHALL FULFILL DESTINY

DAY ONE β€” THURSDAY

TOPIC: PILLARS OF DESTINY

Introduction

In life, it is either you are wise or foolish. Wisdom is the driving force of destiny.

Ecclesiastes 3:1 β€” Everything has its time and season.

What you carry in your season determines where you flow to. Everything you hold dear has a time and season. Therefore, one of the major pillars of destiny is understanding your season.

We all have different seasons in life, but the proper use of your season determines your worth and the results you produce.

Avoiding what you are supposed to do will not make it go away. Every day comes with a line of assignment. When you avoid responsibility, you put a dent in your destiny.

Sometimes, your rest will not come until you learn what your season is demanding from you.

KEY PRINCIPLES

Destiny responds to responsibility.

Every season comes with an assignment.

Avoiding responsibility does not remove the responsibility.

Sometimes, what you call a delay is actually a lesson you have refused to learn.

To be sanctified is to be prepared and made ready for the fire and purpose of God.

THE SEVEN PILLARS OF DESTINY

1. Understanding Your Season

You must know what season of life you are in and understand what God requires of you in that season.

Ecclesiastes 3:1

You cannot fulfill destiny by operating blindly. Discernment helps you know what to pursue, what to leave behind, and what to prioritize.

2. Responsibility

Destiny responds to responsibility.

Every day brings an assignment. You must take responsibility for your life, your spiritual growth, your decisions, and your God-given assignment.

3. Faith

Faith is required to walk into what God has ordained for you.

You must believe God even when what He has promised is not yet visible.

4. Prayer

Prayer keeps you connected to God and positions you to receive divine direction, strength, and help.

5. Diligence

Destiny does not respond to laziness.

You must give yourself to consistent effort, discipline, learning, and excellence.

6. Self-Control

You cannot fulfill destiny if you cannot control yourself.

Self-control helps you control your desires, emotions, reactions, habits, and decisions.

7. Patience

Destiny is a journey.

You must learn to wait on God's timing without abandoning your assignment. Not everything happens immediately.

THE MIND: A CRITICAL BATTLEFIELD OF DESTINY

Romans 12:1–2

The mind is one of the greatest battlefields of the redeemed.

Luke 22:3

Spiritual battles may involve different kinds of weapons, but many battles must first be won in the mind.

1. The Mind Is the Battlefield

If you lose the battle in your mind, it can eventually affect your life.

Nehemiah 4:6

The condition of your mind can determine how you respond to opposition.

Your life often moves in the direction of your thoughts.

2. Guard Your Thoughts

James 1:5
2 Corinthians 10:3–6

Thoughts can develop into imaginations, and imaginations can become strongholds.

Thought β†’ Imagination β†’ Struggle

Many things that eventually hold people captive begin as thoughts that were entertained repeatedly.

Therefore, you must learn to discipline your mind.

3. Life Is Lived From the Inside Out

Your internal world eventually influences your external reality.

Your imagination can be used positively for vision, creativity, faith, and success, but it can also become a breeding ground for fear and negative expectations.

You cannot always stop a thought from entering your mind, but you can decide whether that thought will stay and build a stronghold.

4. Discipline Your Mind

Not every thought deserves your attention.

You must learn to reject thoughts that contradict God's Word and deliberately fill your mind with thoughts that are true, pure, excellent, and worthy of praise.

Philippians 4:6–8

5. The Critical Target Is the Mind

In any confrontation, the mind is a critical target.

If the enemy can influence your thinking, he can influence your decisions, emotions, and actions.

Therefore:

Shut your mind against negative thoughts.

Fill your mind with God's Word.

John 17:17 β€” God's Word is truth.

PRACTICAL CHARGE

To fulfill destiny:

Understand your season.

Accept responsibility.

Walk by faith.

Build your life on prayer.

Be diligent.

Exercise self-control.

Develop patience.

Guard your mind.

Discipline your thoughts.

Allow God's Word to shape your mentality

You shall fulfill destiny in Jesus name
