πŸ–ŠοΈ *COMMENTARY*
To be sanctified is to be set apart, not just separated from sin, but consecrated for a purpose. It's the difference between being saved and being transformed. Salvation changes your position. Sanctification changes your condition. God is calling you to reflect Him in private and in public, in thought and deed, in heart and habit. The call to sanctification is a call to become what you were meant to be as a believer in Christ. Sanctification is God's heartbeat for every believer.

Yama was zealous for God and active in the church. But behind closed doors, he battled secret addictions. One night, during a.revival meeting, the preacher gave an altar call for sanctification. That night, Yama didn't just repent, he surrendered and committed to accountability. It wasn't instant, but over weeks and months, the strongholds were broken. Not just because he tried harder, but because he yielded deeper and sincerely.

Sanctification begins with: "Lord, do in me what I cannot do by myself." It's not about perfection, it's about progression. It's holiness in motion. Today, God is not asking if you're spiritually gifted; He's asking if you're surrendered. Not just clean on Sunday, but daily. Sanctification echoes heaven's culture. Let's not just preach purity, let's pursue it. Let's not just
admire righteousness, let's walk in it. The world is watching. Heaven is calling. And holiness is still beautiful.

Surrender is rarely comfortable, and hardly ever easy. To surrender means to release control, to abandon our insistence on being the captain of our ship. It's letting go, not because we're weak, but because He is strong. Surrender is an invitation, a divine call that echoes beyond the walls of church buildings. The call to surrender is a call to lay down what you cannot carry.

Jethro was a successful Christian businessman. He was known for integrity, generosity, and faith. He prayed for direction and a breakthrough, but held tightly to his plans. He fasted and prayed, but held onto his fears. One day, after a series of setbacks, he sat alone in his office. With tears in his eyes, he whispered, "Lord, I surrender." Not a long prayer, just those three words. That simple surrender opened the doors to peace, restoration, and spiritual renewal.

God didn't need Jethro's success. He wanted his heart. God never forces anyone to surrender. He calls us to it. Hear this: when you lay your life on the altar, God doesn't take it away: He breathes life into it. True worship isn't in the noise, it's in surrender.

Today, let us respond to the call and lay down what we were never meant to carry. Not with fear, but with faith. Not with hesitation, but with hope.

πŸ–ŠοΈ *COMMENTARY*
Whenever we hear the word prophecy, we often think about timelines, end-time charts, or mysterious symbols. Prophecy is not just information. It's a revelation with divine intention. Every time God speaks prophetically, it's to draw us closer to Jesus. That is why, The testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy." All true prophecy ultimately points to Jesus Christ. Prophecy isn't just about predicting future events; it's about revealing the heart, character, and mission of Jesus.

There's a tremble in the heart of the Church today, many are wounded not by the world, but by voices that claim to speak from God. People walk into the church expecting liberation, only to walk out more chained than before. They sowed, trusted and waited for miracles. And when they did not come, they were disappointed and disillusioned. False prophecy doesn't just mislead, it leaves one with scars.

When next you receive a prophecy from a prophet, don't be quick to accept everything you hear; discern their words. When next you want to give a word of prophecy to someone, ask yourself: Am I pointing him/her to Jesus? If not, then it may be mystical, and not prophetic. Whenever believers testify of Christ, they embody prophecy. Jesus is the subject of prophecy. Jesus is the fulfillment of prophecy. And He is the spirit behind prophecy.

A young woman named Amanda had been told by a "prophet" that she would marry within three months. Her faith was strong, and she rearranged her life in expectation. Suitors didn't come and no wedding happened. Eventually, after five months, she confronted the prophet, only to be told she lacked enough faith. That single word, faithless, shattered her trust not just in prophecy but in the voice of God Himself. Consequently, Amanda began to withdraw from church. Her worship grew silent. But one day. the Spirit whispered to her: "My sheep know my voice. The stranger they
will not follow." She realised she had followed a stranger's voice. Not the Shepherd's. What was lost was not just a promise; it was discernment.

False prophets will always give words close to the truth. They quote Scripture and have charisma. Their words carry pressure and urgency. But it lacks divine origin. False prophets are not just dangerous, they are spiritually manipulative
Unfortunately, the victims are our brothers and sisters, wives, husbands, children and friends, disoriented and spiritually bruised. Not everyone with a prophetic word is sent by God. And not every vision is divine. That's why we must test every
spirit, weigh every word, and anchor ourselves in the written Word of God. The church must wake up.

We often ask God for an increase in power, anointing and ministerial open doors. The question is, can God trust you with power? Everyone wants the power to influence, lead, shape, and make decisions. Be warned, power doesn't conceal character, it exposes it. God is not looking for powerful people; rather, trustworthy people. The truth is, elevation comes with expectation. Before God gives you a platform, He examines your posture. Can you stay humble when praised? Can you still serve when celebrated? Will you use authority to lift people, or hold them down?

There was a young man named Jude, gifted, intelligent, and charismatic. One day, he was chosen to lead a growing youth ministry. At first, he prayed, fasted, and walked in humility. But as the numbers grew, so did his pride. He stopped listening to his team. He used his title more than his mantle. Slowly, the ministry lost its fire. The anointing lift. One night in prayer, he cried,
"Lord, I can't feel your presence anymore. The Spirit whispered. "Because you no longer reflect me." Jude broke down in tears and repented. He began to mentor others, give credit and lead with love. Over time, God restored the oil on his life. You see, power can make or break you. It can turn you into a tyrant or a servant-leader like Jesus. Before you ask God to elevate you, ask Him to establish you in character, because power without maturity is dangerous.
β€’β€’β€’β€’β€’β€’β€’β€’β€’β€’β€’β€’β€’β€’β€’β€’β€’β€’β€’β€’β€’β€’β€’β€’β€’β€’β€’β€’β€’β€’β€’β€’β€’

πŸ–ŠοΈ *COMMENTARY*
Have you been to the plain of Dura? Let me take you there, where the heat of the furnace wasn't as dangerous as the pressure to conform. Beloved, there comes a time when silence becomes a compromise. A time when neutrality no longer means peace, it means surrender. "Stand and be counted" is not just a call to physical boldness; it's a spiritual rallying cry to declare who we serve, even when it costs.

Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego stood in front of a golden image while an entire nation bowed in silence. The command was clear: bow or burn. But these three men had already decided before the decree was given. Their minds were made up. Their hearts were anchored. They stood, and they were counted. Not just by man, but by God. "Stand and be counted" is a call to *conviction before the crisis.* It is a call to *faith that speaks even if God doesn't intervene.* True faith isn't just confidence in what God can do; it's loyalty regardless of what He chooses.

Friends, God didn't just deliver them; He walked with them in the fire. Sometimes the testimony isn't just that you came out, it's that you weren't alone while you were in. Stand and be counted is a call to stand for truth, integrity and righteousness.
