One Day… It Will Be Just You and Your Deeds.
No family. No friends. No wealth. No status. You will stand alone before Allah and only your deeds will speak for you.
Allah says in the Qur’an:
“And every one of them will come to Him on the Day of Resurrection alone.”
(Surah Maryam 19:95)
And He ﷻ reminds us:
“That Day, people will depart separated [into categories] to be shown [the result of] their deeds. So whoever does an atom’s weight of good will see it, and whoever does an atom’s weight of evil will see it.”
(Surah Az-Zalzalah 99:6–8)
The Prophet ﷺ said:
“Three follow the deceased: his family, his wealth, and his deeds. Two return and one remains. His family and wealth return, but his deeds remain.”
(Sahih al-Bukhari 6514, Sahih Muslim 2960)
🤍 So prepare for that moment.
Fill your life with sincerity, repentance, and good deeds because your grave will only be illuminated by what you sent ahead.
Dua:
O Allah, forgive our sins, accept our deeds, and grant us light, ease, and mercy in our graves. Ameen.
