Oyigbo Group Council duly represented at 2026 Administrative Officers' Retreat of the Boys' Brigade Nigeria, Rivers State Council, and I'm still buzzing from the awesome experience! The retreat took place from March 20th to 22nd at the beautiful Bonny Island, with the theme "Pressing Towards the Goal" (Phil 3:14) and the sub-theme "Achieving Excellence Through Purpose-Driven Leadership".

The event was packed with insightful lectures, including a keynote address by Sir Chukwuemeka Ezeri ABH, who shared valuable insights on achieving excellence through purpose-driven leadership. We also had engaging sessions on "The Power of Accountability: Tracking Progress Towards Excellence" by Sir Chukwuemeka Awanye, ABH, and "Leveraging ICT for the Advancement and Sustainability of the Boys' Brigade in the 21st Century" by Rabbi Kingsley Ibanichuka, ANTO, CoA.

Of course, it wasn't all work and no play! We took some time to relax and unwind at the Bonny Island Beach, and ended the retreat with a heartfelt Thanksgiving service at St. Stephen's Cathedral, Bonny.

As the Public Relations Officer of the Boys' Brigade Oyigbo Group Council, I'm proud to have represented my group council and I'm excited to share the knowledge and inspiration I've gained with our team!

God bless the Rivers State Council Headquarters, The Boys' Brigade, Nigeria., Oyigbo Group Council, RSC, BBN.
