High Point
1) Every month our Mama,
Archbishop Margaret
Benson-Idahosa, by the Spirit of
God, focuses our minds on a
subject matter in the Kingdom.
This month she is drawing our
attention to soul winning.
2) Soul winning ought to be the
believer's preoccupation on earth.
"... and he that winneth souls is
wise." (Pro. 11:30b)
"And he said unto them, God ye
into all the world and preach the
gospel to every creature."
(Mark 16:15)
* If truly you're born again and
Christ is good to you, then it will
be unwise and wicked if you
don't tell others about Him.
* Your role or position in the house
of God does not exempt you
from soul winning. In other
words, nobody should be too big
or too busy not to win souls.
3) We must be strategic and
delibrate about it.
"For though I be free from all
men, yet have I made myself
servant unto all, that I might
gain the more."
(1 Cor. 9:19)

Message: Spiritual Warfare

High Points:
1) Whether the believer knows it or not,
whether he likes it or not, he is engaged in a
fight with the forces of darkness.
"For we wrestle not against flesh and
blood, but against principalities, against
powers, against the rulers of the
darkness of this world, against spiritual
wickedness in high places."
(Ephesians 6:12)
2) As a believer, you are not fighting to defeat
the Devil; Jesus has already done that.
However, you are on ground to enforce your
victory and guard your territory.
3) One verse that simplifies how to engage in
spiritual warfare is James 4:7.
"Submit yourselves therefore to God.
Resist the devil, and he will flee from
you." (James 4:7)
* Submit and Resist.
* Submit
It means to accept or yield to God's will.
Spiritual Warfare starts from your heart.
You can't be walking in disobedience to
God's will and do well in spiritual warfare.
* Resist
It means to stand up against, to say No, to
oppose. It is our responsibility to resist
Satan and his will. When we submit to
God and resist him, the scripture says he
will run away.

Message: Sonship And It's Benefits (Part 1)

High Points:
1) Sonship in our context means believers
becoming adopted children of God through
faith in Jesus Christ, thereby sharing in His
nature and blessings.

Galatians 4:4-6
[4]But when the fulness of the time was
come, God sent forth his Son, made of a
woman, made under the law,
[5]To redeem them that were under the
law, that we might receive the adoption of
sons.
[6]And because ye are sons, God hath sent
forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts,
crying, Abba, Father.

Revelation 5:9
"And they sung a new song, saying, Thou
art worthy to take the book, and to open
the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and
hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out
of every kindred, and tongue, and people,
and nation."
2) God the Father, Son, Holy Spirit is involved
our spiritual adoption.
* God the Father
The Father by His eternal plan and
purpose, predestinated us to be His
children through adoption, and to conform
to the image of His dear son by His free
will and grace, to His own glory.
* The Son
The Son assumed our human nature so
that we can become His brethren. He died
and paid the full and sufficient price for
our ransome by His blood.
* The Spirit
The Spirit convicts and also carries out
the work of regeneration in the hearts of
men. He bears witness in our hearts that
we are children of God.
3) Our Adoption as children of God is not by
any merit of our own but by the grace of
God.
4) The adoption of believers as sons of God is
not only legal by Jesus paying the full and
sufficient price for our redemption, the Holy
Spirit changes us from within to carry God's
nature, 'His DNA', so that we can conform to
the image of His Son

2 Corinthians 5:17
"Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a
new creature: old things are passed away;
behold, all things are become new."
Galatians 4:6
"And because ye are sons, God hath sent
forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts,
crying, Abba, Father."

Message: "The Storms of Life"
(Luke 8:22-26)
High Points:
1) The story starts with Jesus and His
disciples' desire to go over to the
other side of the lake. No sooner
they launched out than they met a
great storm.
* Storms (Meaning)
Storms in this context represent
challenges and difficulties
everyone experiences in the
journey of life; even with Jesus in
the boat the storm came.
2) The Nature of the Storm.
The storm was made of water and
the wind. It was the wind that
made the water bosterous.
3) Lessons from the Storm
i) In every storm there is the wind
and the water. The wind is the
invisible aspect of the storm
(the spiritual), while the water is
the physical aspect.
ii) In dealing with storms
(challenges of life) you do not
start or concentrate on the
water (the physical aspect, the
symptoms). The water is
only a slave to the wind. You
must learn to address the root
cause of the problem before
dealing with the physical.
"Then, he arose, and rebuked
the wind and the raging of the
water and they ceased, and
there was a calm."
(Luke 22:24)

Message: "The Test of Faith"
(Psalm 105:19)
High Points:
1) Main Text:
"Until the time that his word came
to pass, The word of the LORD
tested him." (Psalm 105:19 NKV)

"Until the time came to fulfill his
dreams, the LORD tested Joseph's
character. (Psalm 105:19 NLT)

* Joseph had a dream of future
greatness. He believed strongly in
it, to the extent he even relayed it to
his parents and his brothers; which
was a demonstration of his faith.
* Psalm 105:19 tells us that God
allowed his faith and Patience to
be tried before the dream was
accomplished. In other words,
when the dream was accomplished
he was already purged and purified.
* What this means is that faith must
be tested, and great faith must be
tested greatly.
2) Joseph's Steadfast Faith.
There's no record of his
complaining or wavering in faith -
even though betrayed by his
brothers, falsely accused of r**e,
cast into prison by his employer,
and forgotten by those he helped.
3) The Secret of Joseph's Unwavering
Faithfulness.
He had an unquestioning
understanding and acceptance of
the providence of God. In other
words, he believed that all the
events of his life, even all the
terrible wrongs that were done to
him, were within the sovereign
plans and purposes of God - for
ultimate good.

(Matthew 5:13-14)
High Points:
1) Jesus referred to believers as the light of
the world, and at the same time the salt
of the earth, so that we would know what
God designed us to be and take on the
role indeed.
2) As believers we may be treated with
contempt but we hold what the
unbelievers need to survive in this
wicked world.
3) As light and salt of the earth, we are not
to be timid and inactive but
influencers...a people called to make
impact wherever we find ourselves.
4) The positive change we are to create is
not by the force of guns and cutlasses,
but by preaching the Gospel and living
theGospel.
