PREPARE THE WAY OF THE LORD

This solemn injunction of John the Baptist is a call to repentance.
This call to repentance is an invitation to eliminate every negative attitude and evil habit from our lives, and be filled with virtues and all that give glory to God, so that God’s love can flow without any obstruction into our hearts. Thus, he calls us to level all mountains and fill up all valleys.
The mountains here refer to the excesses and evil habits in our lives that must be curbed, while the valleys represent the virtues and good habits in our lives we must refill. These mountains and valleys must be attended to in order to create enough space for Jesus Christ to come in and take control of our lives and families this season and always.
