CYON Azuabie is an organization for young Catholics leaving in and around Trans Amadi, particularly Azuabie/Okujagu in Port Harcourt. Peters Azuabie, for:
*Prayer meetings evey tuesdays by 6:30pm
*General meetings every third Sunday of the month
*Church compound sanitation every last saturday of the month

Not knowing Christ & not understanding our mission as Christians has become the problem of our world today. Notice that after Jesus asked His disciples who people say He was, He then asked them individually, who do you say I am.
The truth is If Christ is not seen in our daily life, our Christianity is fruitless & in vain.
Let us pause today & ask ourself the same question and then ask Him for the grace to reveal Him to our world.

Give us the grace we pray oh Lord!...

Good Trees Bear Good Fruit

It isn’t always easy to extend God’s goodness to people. They give us plenty of opportunities to find it difficult!
So, when someone aggravates us, mistreats us, or is just downright rude, we have a choice—get mad and lash out or be like our heavenly Father and express “goodwill toward men” (Luke 2:14, KJV).

Let’s be real—doing this in the face of difficult people is not something we can do in our own power. Instead, we have to choose to yield to God and His goodness within us to overcome the selfish tendencies of our flesh.
Unsaved people don’t have the nature of God within them. They’re still living in the kingdom of darkness. So, when they’re under pressure, they follow their natural, worldly thoughts and emotions. They’re automatically selfish and looking out for themselves.
Jesus said it’s impossible for a bad tree to bear good fruit. So, don’t be surprised and upset when unbelievers bear bad fruit. Realize it’s normal for them because they’re still joined to the bad tree of sin.

For us as believers, however, bearing bad fruit is not normal at all. We’ve been grafted into the good tree of God by faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. Because we’re in Him and He’s in us, we are “full of goodness” (Romans 15:14).

KINDNESSES
Kindness is such an important fruit of the spirit in our lives. And it is the light of Jesus we shine in a dark world.
But have you ever noticed that when you’re tired or you’re experiencing times of great pressure, you start to feel like you’re running short on kindness?
When this happens, there’s only one thing to do. Run to Jesus! He’s the Source of the fruit of the spirit in our lives. He’s the One who enables us to be gracious, thoughtful, and helpful to others. We don’t do it by our own ability.
That’s why Jesus said, “Come to Me.” Don’t look at the circumstances that have risen up against you. Don’t look at the people around you and say, “Well, they never help me. They don’t care anything about me.” When you’re looking at circumstances and people, you’re looking in the wrong place.
Look to the Lord! You can always get a fresh supply of kindness from Jesus because He has an abundance of it, and He’s eager to minister it to you. He’s waiting with open arms, eager to help you, to pour out His mercy on you, and to lift the burdens off your shoulders.

Don’t wait until you’re in a desperate situation to draw near to Him. Come to Him every day. Spend time with Him every morning in the Word and in prayer before you see anyone else. When you live in continual fellowship with Him, nothing will ever be able to drain God’s peace, love, joy, and kindness from you.

Galatians 6:9 says, “Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.” (NIV) It’s hard to do the right things, to choose to persevere when we see no results. But if we want to “reap a harvest,” we can’t give up. Consider what Martin Luther said

Wisdom
Proverbs 4:5-6
Acquire wisdom! Acquire understanding! Do not forget nor turn away from the words of my mouth. Do not forsake her, and she will guard you; love her, and she will watch over you.

One of the most vital aspects of walking in wisdom is that it actually protects and guards us. What an amazing thought! It’s not that our lives will be 100% problem free, but when we do seek to walk in wisdom, our wise choices will actually prevent a lot of unnecessary hardship.

Throughout our lives, seeking godly wisdom should be a top priority for us. Possessing it will help us navigate every aspect of our lives. Spend some time searching God’s Word for more insight on gaining wisdom and the importance of it.

INTEGRITY
Integrity means choosing what God says is right, even when no one is looking, and even when the choice isn’t easy. God doesn’t force us to live with integrity, but when we understand it, we don’t have to be forced. We choose it because it means living a lifestyle that gives life. You won’t regret choosing integrity.
NOTE; Only God’s Spirit can create integrity within us
People and situations will intentionally and unintentionally corrupt and compromise our integrity. We aren’t born with a heart of integrity, and if we want it, we have to fight for it.
If we want to fight for deep-rooted integrity, it means that we must intimately know, understand, and love God’s truth. It’s this truth that develops wisdom in our lives and helps us discern and put into practice the standards and boundaries that form a heart of integrity.
May God help us to strive to know him more in Jesus mighty name.,......

How does faith operate? For a start, faith begins where logic ends.
The catcism teaches us that Faith is a supernatural gift of God that enables us to believe without doubting whatever God has reveal. ie (God's word)
1 Corinthians 2:5 says that our faith does not “rest in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.”

Faith is based on who God is - His unchangeable character, His power and His Word. Faith is not based on our ability, our expertise or our acumen.
Today the church celebrates the solemnity of the most holy body and blood of Christ ' Corpus Christi'
The Eucharist is the source and surmit of our christian life, it is the piller, foundation and center of our lives, in that sacrament we encouter God. Purse and ask yourself what is my level of reverence for the Eucharist.
Do I receive him worthily?
Has it changed me?
What difference/impact am I making?
