HIGHLIGHT OF THE COMMUNITY SERVICE AND MEDIA WEEK 2026

To God be the Glory for a successful climate of this year community outreach held in Rumuolumeni Church.

As our core duty in preaching God's words, we were delighted to also engage in an environmental outreach to State Primary School 1 & 2 Rumuolumeni which was led by the District Communication Secretary, Godsend Uwoh; Elder Clifford Nyone, Eld. ThankGod Kinika, Bro. Greatman, Bro. Bright, Bro Isaiah, Mrs. Faith Ordu and Sis. Chiamaka happily joined to carry out this life impacting exercise where health lecture and prayers were done.

This year Communication Outreach tagged: VISIBLE EXPERIENCE, gives a glimpse to how we act around our community, how can people see significant things in us and turn from their evil ways, are they watching us for a good example?

Friday night gave us a clearer view that we can choose what to watch, listen and share using alternate communication tools but not forgetting that each of this medium has its good and bad effects to us.

We gladly join the Eastern Nigeria Union Conference of Seventh Adventist Church to positively engage in this year's community service outreach.

Keep sharing God's words with every means of communication you have and together we'll achieve the goal of winning souls for Heaven.

Amid a world filled with voices, distractions, and constant noise, there is a voice worth learning to recognize—the voice of God.

“𝘚𝘱𝘦𝘢𝘬, 𝘓𝘰𝘳𝘥, 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘠𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘴𝘦𝘳𝘷𝘢𝘯𝘵 𝘪𝘴 𝘭𝘪𝘴𝘵𝘦𝘯𝘪𝘯𝘨.” — 1 Samuel 3:9

Today, we celebrate 76 years of Pathfindering—a ministry that teaches young people to learn, lead, serve, and walk with Jesus.

But being a Pathfinder is more than wearing a uniform, mastering skills, or joining activities. It is learning to pause when God calls, listen when He speaks, and respond when He sends.

May every Pathfinder grow with a heart that says, “Speak, Lord. I am listening.”

And when He sends us, may we be ready to serve—within our churches, among our communities, and wherever God leads.

Happy World Pathfinder Day! 💛

HIGHLIGHT OF GLOBAL LAUNCH OF ONEVOICE27 AT RUMUOLUMENI DISTRICT

To God be the Glory that the congregation of God within the district participated fully to celebrate the kickoff of the General Conference plans for ONEVOICE27 and about 200 members were present to honor this day.

Rumuolumeni Church was blessed with the words of God from Pst. Ken Ine, who enlighten the church on impact of Digital Evangelism in our community. We are in a global village and God has placed tools in our hands (Smart Phones, social media handle and Online Publications) to share His Words across.

To marks this remarkable event, the church at Tombia Kingdom was gifted a SIGNPOST as part of the impact to let people know that Adventist exist in Tombia Community.

HIGHLIGHT OF THE WEST AFRICA DIVISION BIBLE GEM HELD IN PORT HARCOURT WEST CONFERENCE AT HERALD PEDAGOGICAL LEARNING CENTER OBGOGORO PORT HARCOURT

The Adventist youth ministry across the Port Harcourt West Conference anchored WAD 2026 Bible Gem at Conference level where youth from all the District participated.
The moment was filled with energized youths ready to represent their district and church at the conference level.

The district youth of Rumuolumeni District emerged First position which has path a way to participate at the UNION Level for the Bible Gem while the Adventurer's took 4th Position.
Big congratulations to all Junior Youth and Adventurer's who represented the District at the conference level during her WAD Bible Gem on the 11th of July 2026.

Our sincere appreciation to God Almighty who led our children through this process and we extend appreciation to our parents for their unwavering support towards making this a huge success.

Thanks to the church leadership for continuous support and the district at large as it is a wonderful experience to know that the PATHFINDER'S of the district will be presenting Port Harcourt West Conference at the UNION Level for the upcoming Bible Gem.

We will always yield for your massive support to achieve a greater level.

HIGHLIGHT OF THE PUBLIC CAMPUS MINISTRY (PCM) SABBATH DAY HELD IN RUMUOLUMENI CHURCH.

Today marks a memorable day for the students within Port Harcourt Zone coming to celebrate her PCM Half Week with a variety of programs held at various campuses across all universities, college and Polytechnic.

Noting that today's worship was awesome and we gathered to celebrate our 13th Sabbath Program with different presentations of lessons review and celebration of birthdays for members. The Sabbath school department did a great job in appreciating members who always see to drive the growth of the church and members.

The PCM Half Week Theme "FILLED TO OVERFLOW" was used as the sermon given by David Erekosima, a 200 level student of University of Port Harcourt studying chemical engineering. He emphasized that members should empty themselves to create enough space for the Holy Spirit to fill us in doing His accordance.

We can't overflow when the Holy Spirit has not filled us with His Goodness, we are filled differently so we can also extend the blessing to others. Our hope is that God has promised to give us an expected end in all our endeavors of life.

HIGHLIGHT OF THE WORLD ADVENTURER'S DAY CELEBRATION HELD AT RUMUOLUMENI DISTRICT HQ

In the moments of celebration, we give God the glory for an awesome World Adventurer Day program held across the world and particularly at Rumuolumeni Church was fully represented.

It was a huge success as the Emerald Adventurer Club embarked on this year's World Adventurer's Day with the theme "WALKING WITH JESUS"

The program featured presentations from different kids in the Adventurer's ministry, such as Adventurer's classes and it's meaning Adventurer colours and highlighting the meaning of nature, family, and cross on the adventurers logo.
The Adventurers did a wonderful drama presentation aiming at the theme WALKING WITH JESUS. They presented soul lifting songs along with the theme WALKING WITH JESUS. The Adventurer's ministry organized a Family blessing session using SDAH 653 and urging parents to always pray for their children.
The celebration didn't end without a colorful cake to wrap the event.

The club recorded over 10 Adventurer's friends who came to witness the program and a special prayer was offered for them by Elder MG. Ordu messiah ikechukwu.

The Adventurer's club concluded the celebration by visiting one of her elderly mothers in church with fruits and also prayed for her family.

it was an amazing WALKING WITH JESUS experience among the congregation who worshipped with the Adventurers.

HIGHLIGHT OF SABBATH WORSHIP WITH EXQUISITE CLASS OF ADVENTIST STUDENT FELLOWSHIP IAUOE HELD ON 9TH MAY 2026 AT SEVENTH DAY ADVENTIST CHURCH RUMUOLUMENI DISTRICT HEADQUARTER.

On 9th May 2026, the leadership of Rumuolumeni District gladly joined and invited the newly graduates from Ignatius Ajuru University of Education marking their 44th convocation session which happened on the 8th May 2026.

The Exquisite class of ASF IAUOE crowned their Convocation ceremony with a Thanksgiving worship at the District Headquarters. Testimonies and special rendention were made as a part of showing gratitude to God Almighty for their successful end of their first degree at Ignatius Ajuru University.

Session of health talks by a medical practitioner and prayers was offered to graduates by the Associate District Pst. Ebenezer Confidence, committing and thanking God on their behalf as their experiences in school never let anyone dropped yet they succeed and now celebrating their Convocation ceremony.

The worship was heartfelt as gifts and awards was given to the Convocants as the session was anchored by the ASF IAUOE fellowship administration, according to the President, Success Reuben, in his words, he appreciated the graduating class for their endless efforts while in the fellowship ranging from the previous president and all Exco who worked closely to ensure the continuous growth of the chapter on campus. He used the medium to the appreciate the district for their continuous support to the students body.

The preacher, Eld. Okobulem Gbasam, gave a life impacting sermon that will shaped a pathway to progress and opportunities to the Convocants; reminding them that Honestly, determination and steadfastness are vulnerable acts of life that will create many chances of achieving life desires.

In his closing remark, he urged members to take a good path of life and never be in rush as God gives all our wants.

HIGHLIGHT OF WORKER'S THANKSGIVING DAY/AMO DAY IN RUMUOLUMENI CHURCH

To God be the Glory for a successful Worker's Thanksgiving Program held at Rumuolumeni Church.

It was filled with joy and praise as members gave thanks to God for blessing the work of thy hands. Offering and songs were given expressing God's faithfulness in their lives.

The District HQ was blessed with the presence of Pastor Victor Oamen
PHWC Sabbath School/PM Director and He gave a brief lecture on how to Improve the growth and strength of the Members involvement in church activities encouraging the leaders to carry all members and also assign functions to new convert as a mean to keep them in the church and promote togetherness.

He strongly advised the church to keep doing the work of God and always communicate with members as to know their welfare; stating that visitation is a vital key to let members know the church cares for everyone.

The divine worship was anchored by the AMO and the AMO Leader gave a soul inspired sermon encouraging the men to keep the good works as also the women to always pray for the Men. Each word reminded the congregation how important everyone is in the family and church at last.
