Topic: Taking Your Life Seriously.
Text: Ephesians 5:15, Ecclesiastes 5:17, Psalms 90:12.
Any faith that leaves the entirety of the responsibility to God, that faith is an irresponsibility. Life is intentional, deliberate not a trial to be lived irresponsibly.
If you do life same way, you will get same result.
Dont do life harphardly because you are a Christian.
Everyday you wake up is an opportunity to do life intentionally, you owe yourself development and growth.
Your spouse is not made to make you happy, live life intentionally and purposefully even in marriage.
In whatever you are called to do, do intentionally. What are your daily routines?, or are you just following trends.
The fact that you are a child of God is an advantage.
What does it mean to live life intentionally:
1. Live with Awareness of purpose, why are you here, what are you here to do. Live with the alignment of your purpose intentionally.
2. Take responsibility for your actions.
3. Do not waste your most precious asset “Time”. Be intentional with your time. Plan your time. Have a to do list, have a target/curriculum for your life.
Wasted time is wasted Destiny, a result of not taking life seriously.
Signs That you are not taking your life seriously:
1. Life without structure, no plans. Discipline is structure, set structure for your children, e.g Wake up, pray and face the days assignment.
We live in an age of so many distractions, you need discipline to stay focused. Have direction, ask how you can do better at what you do.
Have your Health Checked.
2. You are casual about sin and spiritual things.
Dont treat spiritual things with levity
3. You procrastinate important decisions, you prefer entertainment over assignment.
