Happy New Month of October, the month we say “Lord, may your mother pray for us”. May this month brings you peace, joy, happiness, God's blessings, favour, good health and promotion. May the Lord bless you and keep you. May the Lord let his face shine on you and be gracious to you. May the Lord show you his face and bring you peace. You will not Labour for another to eat, you shall not die, God shall give you a reason to live and smile and you shall not go down. *Reflection* The word of God softens rocks and soothes emotions. The word is peace and the word breeds peace. The bearer of the word reflects peace and first says "shalom." Meekness becomes a cloak since his/her life style reflects that of a lamb amidst wolves. Being harmless but wise, he/she survives hard times without pouncing on others. The signs associated with his/her life and mission offer relieve from pain - healing the sick and offering hope (the message of the kingdom). He/she respects the will of others but tells them the truth without ceasing. This is who we are called to be but first the word must permeate us because the word is life and the word points towards the kingdom but never to us. We are signs of the kingdom and arrows pointing to it and so we preach the kingdom and not ourselves.

The mind is like a garden - as you sow, so shall you reap. When you cultivate it and nurture it, it will blossom beyond your wildest expectation. But if you let the weeds take over, you will never reach your potential. What you put in is what you get out. So avoid violent movies, trashy novels and all other negative influences. Peak performers are meticulous about the thoughts they allow into the gardens of their minds. You truly cannot afford the luxury of a single negative thought.
No one is bigger than the Environment of his/her mind.
