On this Children’s Day in Nigeria, our hearts are heavy for the children who should be laughing, learning, playing, and dreaming but are instead living in fear, pain, and uncertainty.

No child deserves to be stolen from the safety of home, school, or family. No child deserves violence instead of love.

As we celebrate children today, I am remembering the innocent children who were kidnapped and abused. May God protect every child in Nigeria, comfort every hurting family, and bring every missing child home safely.

Children are not victims to be forgotten, they are treasures to be protected.
