HE-IS-ABLE EVANGELICAL MISSION started as a little fellowship, committed to the studying of God’s Word, evangelism and aggressive prayers, with six brethren in 1993, in Emeabiam, Owerri West local government, Imo state, Nigeria. It started Sunday service in February 1994, in the same Emeabiam, Owerri West local government area, Imo state. Between then and now, the church has grown and still growing with branches in many states in Nigeria, west, central and south Africa. The focus of the church has been in the following areas:

1. Bringing down God’s awesome power for great revival in believers’ life, with the fire spreading among them that are not yet saved. The Lord has been faithful unto the church until now.

It is a terrifying spiritual truth that a single hidden compromise can paralyze an entire household or ministry. Many wonder why they experience constant spiritual defeat, unanswered prayers, or sudden dryness, completely forgetting that God will never bless what He has explicitly cursed.

A genuine believer knows that you cannot harbor the forbidden things of this world in your secret closet and expect to walk in the victorious power of the Holy Ghost. The enemy whispers that what you do in total darkness is your own business, but hidden sin always brings a public harvest of defeat.

Hear the declaration of God to Joshua after Israel's sudden failure at Ai in Joshua 7:12 :
"Therefore the children of Israel could not stand before their enemies... because they were accursed: neither will I be with you any more, except ye destroy the accursed from among you."

Notice the terrifying words: neither will I be with you any more. Achan thought he successfully hid the babylonish garment and the silver inside the earth beneath his tent. No one saw him do it, yet his hidden greed caused the glory of God to depart from the whole camp.

THE DANGER OF FRIENDSHIP WITH THE WORLD

You cannot walk hand-in-hand with a rebellious world system and expect to walk heart-to-heart with a Holy God. Many modern churchgoers try to blend in with godless entertainment, unholy music, and worldly trends during the week, assuming they can still enjoy intimacy with Jesus on Sunday. But a genuine believer knows that God demands an uncompromised line of separation between the kingdom of light and the kingdom of darkness.

The enemy whispers that a little worldly affection won't hurt your testimony, but the Bible shatters this lie in James 4:4 :
"Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God."

To be a friend of the world is to position yourself as an active enemy of God. The world system actively hates the cross, mocks holiness, and exalts pride. If you feast on what the world loves, the spiritual fire in your private prayer closet will quickly turn to cold ashes (1John 2:15).

If your heart is completely full of this passing age, there is simply no room left for the love of the Father. A genuine believer is a peculiar personβ€”separated unto God, unspotted by the culture, and fiercely loyal to Christ alone.

Examine your lifestyle today. Have you allowed worldly values or compromised relationships to corrupt your holy walk? Repent of any spiritual mixture right now. Step away from the patterns of a dying generation, lay your loyalty entirely on the altar, and walk in deep, uncompromised friendship with the Living God!

The enemy loves to use your past failures as a weapon to paralyze your present prayer life. He whispers that your mistakes are too heavy, that your secret compromises have disqualified you, and that you can never truly be clean again. But a genuine believer knows that the devil is a liar. No sin is greater than the cleansing power of the precious blood shed on Calvary.

God does not tell you to hide your brokenness or dress up your guilt with religious excuses.

Hear the glorious invitation of the Almighty in Isaiah 1:18 :
"Come now, and let us reason together, saith the Lord: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool."

Notice the timeline: Come now. God does not ask you to clean yourself up before you approach His throne; He asks you to bring your broken, contrite heart straight to the altar right now. True repentance is bringing your hidden mess into His perfect light.

God gave us the promise for daily spiritual cleansing in 1 John 1:9 (KJV):
"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."

When you honestly confess and forsake your compromises, God does not just overlook themβ€”He completely obliterates them! He is faithful and just to restore your soul, mend your foundations, and renew your spiritual fire. Stop letting past guilt keep you away from your secret prayer closet.

Examine your heart before the Lord today, saints. Are you still carrying the heavy weight of hidden shame or unconfessed faults? Drag it to the cross right now. Drop to your knees, receive His total cleansing, and walk away in the absolute freedom and power of a holy life!
