May God’s FAVOUR surround you! ...because of the BLESSING of the UPRIGHT.

📅 Tuesday, 8th May 2024.

-》Proverbs 11:11: By *the blessing* of the influence of the upright and *God's favor [because of them]* the city is exalted, but it is overthrown by the mouth of the wicked. (Amplified)

-》Isaiah 65:8 Thus saith the LORD, As the new wine is found in the cluster, and one saith, *Destroy it not; for a blessing is in it:* so will I do for my servants' sakes, that I may not destroy them all.

Shalom beloved!

The LORD loves you, and He has not abandoned you. As a loving Father, He will definitely correct us because we are His sons and not bastards but He does it in His own way for His glory and our good.

It is safe to reiterate that we are all beneficiaries of the blessings of God and that He has kept certain blessings for the upright alone.

In our text, it is clear that by His blessings because of the upright a city, and consequently a school, union, political party, organization, family, church, etc. is exalted. On the flip side, the wicked overthrow cities.

Who are these upright people with such a powerful promise?

- First, they are honest, morally upright.
- Second, and most importantly, they are believers in Jesus Christ who have accepted the gift of His righteousness for their own righteousness is as filthy rags before God.
- They are not necessarily “perfect” people who never make mistakes in their words, thoughts, or demeanour but they are increasingly being changed into the image of Christ (affections, dispositions, and virtues) by the indwelling Holy Spirit.

Today, we are asking the LORD to release His favour (preference, kindness, support; defense, vindication or disposition to help) because of us, the upright, into every area of our need especially in our city.

Prayers:
1. Daddy let Your will continue to be done in my city, Nation, sphere of influence, in me and all that concerns me!

2. My Heavenly Father, may the influence of Your blessings increase around us bringing about exaltation, righteousness, peace, and joy;

3. I dissociate myself from disfavour, for I have found favour with You Lord.

Remember that...
*...the Lord KNOWS your FEEBLE frame!*

-》Since the One who saves and those who are saved have *a common origin,* *Jesus doesn't hesitate to treat them as family,* (Hebrews 2:11, MSG)

-》*My frame was not hidden* from you when I was made in the secret place. When I was woven together in the depths of the earth, 16 your eyes saw my unformed body. All the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be. (Psalm 139:15-16, NIV)

Shalom beloved,

I just thought I'd remind you that the Lord Jesus knows your feeble frame. Yes, you. He is most conversant with and understands the entirety of your make-up, strength or weakness, ignorance or prowess, good or bad.

However, as a true friend that He is, in spite of all He knows about you and I, He still loves us the way He does. He is not ashamed to call us brothers and sisters.

*》》He went all the way to calvary because He loves you.*

Therefore, expect more of His love and let this mindset fuel your hopes!

Prayers:
1. May the LORD Jesus continue to "treat" you as family, showing you favour and pity!

2. May the hold and works of the devil be broken and destroyed over your life,

3. May the LORD comfort you and increase your greatness on every side,

4. May the LORD break the hold of fear in your life, and may you be released into the fullness of your destiny,

5. May you never stop until you come into fullness of the stature of Jesus Christ,

Expect AMAZING things and TERRORISE the devil!

》"If I were in your shoes, I'd go straight to God, I'd throw myself on the mercy of God. (9) After all, *He's famous for great and unexpected acts;* there's no end to his surprises. Job 5:8-9 (MSG)

》He *disappointeth the devices of the crafty* , so that their hands cannot perform their enterprise. Job 5:12

There is power in EXPECTATION!

*Expectation is a strong belief or hope that something will happen, or that you will get something. It could good or bad.*

Your expectation is expressed in/by your eager, tiptoe, readiness to "receive".

Your expectation(s) influence how you act or walk while waiting for the promises of God or otherwise. Your expectation can become a self-fulfilling prophecy because it can order your steps.

Pastor Jentezen FRANKLIN said the devil is not concerned with what you used to be. The devil is not concerned with what you are. He is quite content when you remain content with your "crippled" or "blind" state... But do you know what torments him? Satan is terrorised by what you can be.

Therefore, you need to keep terrorising the devil by expecting from the LORD what you can be, the fullness of the blessings and of the stature of Jesus Christ, a sudden good break, sound health, great and unexpected surprises, etc.

Prayers:
May the Lord purify your heart from "craftiness" and "maliciousness" and cause you to grow into the fullness of Christ's stature;

2. May the Lord disappoint the plans of the cunning, crafty and malicious people against you, may they never be able to accomplish any evil enterprise they have begun or will begin against you;

3. May no evil befall you and your family;

4. May the LORD fill you with the fullness of His blessings, His goodness and mercy, surround you with human and angelic helpers, crowd your path with pleasant surprises, satisfy your mouth with good things and fill it with laughter;

5. May your health spring up speedily, and

6. May the Lord who is famous for doing amazing things give you amazing testimonies and results that will disappoint the naysayers in every area of your life;
