THEME: THE BELIEVER AND HIS CHARACTER

📝 WHO SHALL MAKE IT TO THE HOLY HILL (Ps. 15:1)?
Asking God this simply means that you must:
1. Look up to God (Heb. 12:1-2)
✍🏻 The race set before us is for us to move from the tabernacle (the church) to the permanent holy hill
2. You must take directives (instructions & guidance) from the Word of God (Ps. 119)
✍🏻 It is simply hearing and listening to what the Word of God asks you to do and doing them
3. You must ask God (Ps. 25:4-5, 32:8)
✍🏻 It is only God that can show you the right way.

‎- The temporal dwelling (Tabernacle)
‎- The permanent dwelling (Holy Hill)

‎✍🏻 The Tabernacle is talking about the temporal place of encounter, it is only a symbol of the permanent dwelling place of God
‎✍🏻 The Holy Hill is Mount Zion, it is the place of final encounter (Mt. 7:21)
‎
‎📝 The essence of you being in the tabernacle is to prepare you to have a personal relationship with God built on obedience and righteousness
‎📝 The crown is not in the temporal tabernacle, the crown is in the holy hill

TOPIC: PRESSING TOWARDS THE MARK.

✍🏻 The mark talks about your goals
✍🏻 God has set a mark for each and every one of us, that mark is your finish point.
✍🏻 You press on from your heart first.

📝 THE MARK
✍🏻 The objective of your life is not self will, it is set by God and not man (Phill. 4:13)
1. The mark is personal (Col. 1:28, 29): There is no room for comparison. Discover it, stand on it and press on (Heb. 12:1)
✍🏻 People are not called to do the same thing, your mark is not your brother's mark
- God didn't call Moses to build an ark like Noah
- God didn't call David to be a king at 17, He called him to kill Goliath first
- God didn't call Esther to preach in the temple, He called her to save a nation with one risky dinner
✍🏻 God is not going to judge you based on another person's mark, identify your mark and remain in your lane until you become a star.
✍🏻 Challenges and sin cannot stop you but distractions can stop you

2. The mark is high: your personal mark is a high calling and it is supposed to end in you reigning (Rom. 5:17) this means excellence in your business, purity in your dealings, raising godly children, etc.

3. The mark is in Christ Jesus (1Sam 9:2b, Ps. 49:6-8): you cannot hustle your way to destiny.
✍🏻 For you to succeed and reign in life, you must be in Christ.

📝 THE FORGETTING (Phill. 3:13)
✍🏻 There are two things you must forget: your past failures and your past successes
✍🏻 Yesterday's anointing cannot solve today's problem, yesterday's testimonies cannot pay today's bill

📝 THE PRESS ON
✍🏻 This means focusing and running (Heb. 12:2)
✍🏻 You need to discipline yourself and remain focused
✍🏻 You don't wish to get to the mark, you make effort to get to the mark

Anchor passage: Num. 25:6-13
Topic: This Curse must be broken

📝 You can't solve a problem until you discover the root cause of that problem.
📝 Until you discover the cause of a problem, it becomes difficult for you to solve it.
📝 When you solve a problem from the root, It is easier to see results.

What is a Curse:
✍🏻 A curse is a spoken wish or prayer that harm, misfortune or judgement will come upon someone.
✍🏻 Biblically, a Curse is a spoken word, condition or consequence that brings lack, bo***ge or separation from God. It is the opposite of blessing.

Types of Curses:
✍🏻 Legal Curse: this are consequences God send for breaking His commands (Deut. 28:1,15, Gal. 3:10)
✍🏻 Spoken Curse: this are words spoken against someone to wish harm (Num. 22:6) it can only come upon you when there is a legal ground.
✍🏻 Natural consequences (Gen. 3: 17): this can also be seen as Generational Curse.

What Curse is not:
✍🏻 Curse is not magic, it only works if there is a legal ground for it to work (Prov. 26:2)
✍🏻 Curse is not stronger than God (Deut. 23:5)
✍🏻 Curse is not permanent (Gal. 3:13)

📝 Generational Curse: this is a negative cycle that repeats in a family line because of sin, beliefs or agreements made by ancestors (Exo. 20:5) it is legal but not personal. Curses can lie low sometimes waiting for opportunities to destroy and stop glory.
📝 Demonic Curse/Operation: it is a direct attack by demons/witchcraft where a person assign demons to afflict you.

📝 When there is a generational curse upon your family, there is one thing that breaks it which is Christ. The first step you take is to surrender your life to Christ and accept Him as your Lord and Savior (Rom. 5:17-18)

How to conquer curses in your life:
1. You must purify yourself (2 Cor. 7:1)
2. Acknowledge and repent (Eze. 18:14)
3. Renounce and forgive (2 Cor. 2:17): You must forgive those that offend you before God forgive you the sins of your ancestors (Mt. 6:14-15)
4. Walk in obedience; make sure you have a transformed life.
5. Live in righteousness.

TOPIC: UNDERGOING SURGERY IN GOD'S SURGERY THEATRE (Cont.)

✍🏻 Jesus' plan is to use the Word of God to cleanse you so that He can present the church to Himself as a radiant church (a church without spot and wrinkles) Eph. 5:26-27

SOME TUMORS EATING UP THE CHURCH:
1. Sexual immorality (1 Cor. 5:1-13)
✍🏻 The concept of fornication here is not just about a man sleeping with a woman.
✍🏻There are some other sexual sins we can see in the life of a person:
• Unholy fellowship: A man who is worldly is guilty of spiritual immorality, you may not be sleeping with a woman but everything about your life is unholy.
✍🏻 Spiritual immorality is associating yourself with the wrong (ungodly) people.
✍🏻 You lacking the moral justification to call yourself a Christian is spiritual immorality.
📝 Be holy and separate yourself unto God.
