SUNDAY RECAP - 10th May, 2026
MINISTERING: REV. IDOKO MICHAEL
TOPIC: FROM NOTHING TO SOMETHING
TEXT: 1 COR. 1:26-28, ROM. 9:11-18
π God calls people into different placements in life, your call and placement has nothing to do with your sufficiency, ability, education, efficiency or connections.
π Sometimes, God's call upon your life may not be attractive according to humans perception but there is a reason why God is placing you there.
Prerequisite you must observe to turn your call and placement into success:
1. CONTENTMENT (1 Tim. 6:6-10)
βπ» Do not despise your calling When God reveals it to you, do not be a follower of what others are doing, be a follower of God.
βπ» Contentment does not mean lack of ambition but it means lack of over ambition, it means depending on God to improve you in that place of your placement.
βπ» Your calling or profession may not be popular but stick to it.
βπ» God would have deposited in you the inherent abilities that will enable you to stand and rise in that place.
2. CONSISTENCY (Ps. 37:5-8)
βπ» There is a path for each person, walk in your own path.
βπ» Having discover where you belong, stick to it until you become a star.
βπ» Consistency is a divine attribute and virtue.
βπ» For you to succeed, you must press on (Phill. 3:14)
βπ» Be least concerned about how others are running, this causes distractions.
