LIMELIGHT DAILY DEVOTIONAL

SUNDAY, 20TH SEPTEMBER 2026

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: I SHALL ESCAPE EVIL TRAPS

SCRIPTURAL FOCUS: Jer. 5:26 "For among my people are found wicked men: they lay wait, as he that setteth snares; they set a trap, they catch men"

PREAMBLE
Escaping one trap, prepare us to face another trap. One victory simply attracts the next battle. We need this understanding to remain on the victory Lane all the time. One character of Satan that is consistent is Unrepentant Wickedness. The consistent and unrepentant nature of the wicked necessitates daily spiritual alertness for triumphant Christian experience. Satan and his demons formulate evil traps non-stop against the believer. We must work out our spiritual counter system to keep escaping every trap. Funny enough, Satan's ally are selected among us. Jer. 5:26 "For among my people are found wicked men: they lay wait, as he that setteth snares; they set a trap, they catch men." Among my people, not among my enemies. The wicked is always closer than we thought.

Psalm 55:12 "For it was not an enemy that reproached me; then I could have borne it: neither was it he that hated me that did magnify himself against me; then I would have hid myself from him:" Know this and know peace, Satan can turn "a Friend to a Fowler" overnight. Remember Luke 22:3 "Then entered Satan into Judas surnamed Iscariot, being of the number of the twelve." The same Judas who gave this testimony along with other disciples. Luke 10:17 "And the seventy returned again with joy, saying, Lord, even the devils are subject unto us through thy name." A useful friend today can become a spiritual Fowler tomorrow, who helps the devil to perfect snare around you. Beloved, Matt. 6:13 "And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever. Amen." Let's make it spiritual responsibility to pray it daily so we can escape the snare of the Fowler.

SPIRITUAL COUNSEL: Beware of Demonic Traps and Escape them.

LESSONS TO LEARN:
1. There are traps set for you, know this.
2. Satan is the source of all evil traps.
3. God Surely Deliver his People from snares.
4. Deliver us from evil must become your daily prayer.
5. A Fowler sets spiritual traps. Avoid being one.

Other Scriptures to study as well are: Psalm 55:11-18, '35:1-10, '124:1-8.

PRAYER: Father, in the name of Jesus, Deliver me and my family from every Snare of the Fowler, help me to identify satanic trap even before I fall into it anyday anytime in Jesus Name.

Your Day is Blessed!

Shalom.
