Recently, I was at Bonny Island for the work of the ministry. I didn't have much time to have a fun time with my host pastor because I was busy, but I had a little. That's not the story.
My host pastor had told his church members that though there are fake prophets on this Island, I want to prove to you that there are still genuine ones. The one I'm bringing is a proof. Well, they didn't believe him but when I came around, the prophetic was high and healing was in abundant with many financial and career miracles. Two of the many healings were a pregnant woman and her daughter who were healed and a man with heart disease.
The doctor had told him he would die. He was preparing his will already but never told his family not his pastor about his ordeal. According to him, he had been sick with the heart condition for 3 years and nothing had worked. He had given up. He didn't come for the program the first two days but on the third day. I ministered to him. The following day, when he gave his testimony, he said, “When the Apostle laid a hand on my chest and blew on it. He said, 'You're healed'. I felt a heat sensation on my chest. I still had it when I got home when I woke up the following morning, I was completely healed.” God's power healed 3 years of heart disease instantly. Halleluyah.
I was on the street with my host pastor going to check out some wears in the nearby boutique. I met a lady with some women having a conversation. The lady limped. I asked her what happened. She said that she had an accident four months ago, and she had been in pain and unable to walk properly since then. I offered if I could bless her. She agreed. I laid my hands on the leg for a few seconds and asked her to check it out. She was shocked. I applied a second dose of the anointing and asked her to check it again. By this time, she was running and laughing in excitement and bewilderment. She was instantly healed and was saying “What!” repeatedly. She would run a little, check her leg, bend over and twist and then look at me with joy and surprise all over her beautiful face. Everyone was looking at me with surprise on their faces. Why? Maybe I look very unassuming. If you meet me on the road you can never know I carry anything and I like it that way. 😂. The lady with the women who witnessed the miracle came for the program with their entire family. We need to prove Jesus to our world.
Now, here's my point. One of the members said to me later, “Sir, we're deeply sorry about our attitude towards the program when the pastor told us about it. We thought it was like one of those, but we saw what we hadn't seen before on this Island. We're bringing you back again, and it'll be citywide gospel crusade”. The point in this is that there are too many fakes out here and many have lost interest and faith in men of God. The main thing is the Word of God, but the Word must be proven by signs and wonders following otherwise, it's just rhetoric and story. When big men see miracle they'll bow and confess Jesus. The gospel preached must be proven for people to believe. The people saw the gospel demonstrated and they believed, halleluyah.
Thank you, Jesus! He always wins and His gospel is powerful and too good to be true at times. Yet, it is true.
