Hey everyone! Have you ever heard of the Prayer of Jabez? It's a powerful prayer from the Bible that teaches us some valuable lessons. Here are a few of them:

The power of prayer: Jabez prayed and asked God to bless him and enlarge his territory. God answered his prayer and gave him what he asked for. This shows us that a prayer is a powerful tool and we should never underestimate its impact.

The importance of faith: Jabez had faith that God would answer his prayer and trusted that God would do what was best for him. This reminds us that we must have faith and trust in God, even when things don't seem to go our way.

The significance of purpose: Jabez asked God to enlarge his territory so that he could have a greater impact on the world. This shows us the importance of having a purpose and a vision for our lives and asking God to help us achieve them.

The value of humility: Jabez asked God to bless him, but he also recognized that he was nothing without God's help. This teaches us the value of humility and acknowledging our dependence on God.

So, there you have it! The Prayer of Jabez is a simple yet powerful prayer that teaches us some important lessons about prayer, faith, purpose, and humility. Let's remember these lessons and apply them to our lives.

Prayer is an essential part of the Christian life. In the book of Luke, Jesus tells a parable about a persistent widow who kept going to an unjust judge and asking for justice. Eventually, the judge gave in because of her persistence, and Jesus uses this story to encourage his followers to pray always and not give up (Luke 18:1-8).

Similarly, in 1 Thessalonians 5:17, Paul writes, "Pray without ceasing." This doesn't mean we need to be on our knees in prayer all day long, but rather that we should have a constant attitude of prayer and be willing to turn to God in all circumstances.

Prayer is an act of faith and surrender. When we pray, we acknowledge that we are not in control and that we need God's help. We come to him with our joys and our sorrows, our hopes and our fears, our praises and our petitions.

In Matthew 6:9-13, Jesus teaches his disciples how to pray, and his prayer has become known as the Lord's Prayer. This prayer covers all aspects of our lives, from acknowledging God as our Father, to asking for daily bread, forgiveness, and protection from evil.

In Philippians 4:6-7, Paul encourages us to bring our requests to God with thanksgiving, and he promises that God's peace, which surpasses all understanding, will guard our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.

Prayer is not a magic formula, and we don't always get the answers we want or expect. But we can trust that God hears our prayers and that he works all things together for the good of those who love him (Romans 8:28).

So let us heed Jesus' call to pray always and not give up, knowing that we have a loving Father who is always ready to hear our prayers and to answer them according to his will.

Fear is a powerful emotion that can hold us back and prevent us from living life to the fullest. However, as believers in Jesus Christ, we have access to a higher power that can conquer our fears - faith in God. The Bible is filled with verses that remind us of God's love and faithfulness and encourage us to put our trust in Him instead of giving in to fear. Here are seven verses to help you overcome fear with faith:

1. "For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind." - 2 Timothy 1:7

This verse reminds us that fear does not come from God, but rather from the enemy. We have been given a spirit of power, love, and a sound mind, which means we can overcome fear through faith in God.

2."When I am afraid, I put my trust in you." - Psalm 56:3

In times of fear and uncertainty, we can turn to God and put our trust in Him. He is our refuge and our strength, and He will never leave us or forsake us.

3. "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." - Philippians 4:6-7

This verse reminds us that we can bring all of our worries and fears to God in prayer. As we do, He will give a peace that goes beyond our understanding, guarding our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.

4. "So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand." - Isaiah 41:10

God promises to be with us and strengthen us in the face of our fears. We can trust that He will uphold us with His righteous right hand, no matter what challenges we may face.

5. "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight." - Proverbs 3:5-6

This verse reminds us to trust in the Lord with allheartsheart, and not to rely on our own understanding. As we submit to Him and seek His guidance, He will make our paths straight and lead us in the way we should go.

6. "Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid." - John 14:27

Jesus gives us His peace, which is not like the peace the world offers. We can choose to let go of our fears and trust in His peace, knowing that He is always with us.

7. "For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord." - Romans 8:38-39

Finally, this verse reminds us that nothing can separate us from the love of God. No matter what we may face in this life, we can have faith and trust in His unfailing love for us.

As you face your fears and uncertainties, remember that faith in God can conquer all. These verses are just a few examples of the many promises and truths found in the Bible.

The word of the Lord to Nigeria!

Isaiah 66 : 6-24

6 A voice of noise from the city, a voice from the temple, a voice of the LORD that rendereth recompence to his enemies.

7 Before she travailed, she brought forth; before her pain came, she was delivered of a man child.

8 Who hath heard such a thing? who hath seen such things? Shall the earth be made to bring forth in one day? or shall a nation be born at once? for as soon as Zion travailed, she brought forth her children.

9 Shall I bring to the birth, and not cause to bring forth? saith the LORD: shall I cause to bring forth, and shut the womb? saith thy God.

10 Rejoice ye with Jerusalem, and be glad with her, all ye that love her: rejoice for joy with her, all ye that mourn for her:

11 That ye may suck, and be satisfied with the breasts of her consolations; that ye may milk out, and be delighted with the abundance of her glory.

12 For thus saith the LORD, Behold, I will extend peace to her like a river, and the glory of the Gentiles like a flowing stream: then shall ye suck, ye shall be borne upon her sides, and be dandled upon her knees.

13 As one whom his mother comforteth, so will I comfort you; and ye shall be comforted in Jerusalem.

14 And when ye see this, your heart shall rejoice, and your bones shall flourish like an herb: and the hand of the LORD shall be known toward his servants, and his indignation toward his enemies.

15 For, behold, the LORD will come with fire, and with his chariots like a whirlwind, to render his anger with fury, and his rebuke with flames of fire.

16 For by fire and by his sword will the LORD plead with all flesh: and the slain of the LORD shall be many.

17 They that sanctify themselves, and purify themselves in the gardens behind one tree in the midst, eating swine's flesh, and the abomination, and the mouse, shall be consumed together, saith the LORD.

18 For I know their works and their thoughts: it shall come, that I will gather all nations and tongues; and they shall come, and see my glory.

19 And I will set a sign among them, and I will send those that escape of them unto the nations, to Tarshish, Pul, and Lud, that draw the bow, to Tubal, and Javan, to the isles afar off, that have not heard my fame, neither have seen my glory; and they shall declare my glory among the Gentiles.

20 And they shall bring all your brethren for an offering unto the LORD out of all nations upon horses, and in chariots, and in litters, and upon mules, and upon swift beasts, to my holy mountain Jerusalem, saith the LORD, as the children of Israel bring an offering in a clean vessel into the house of the LORD.

21 And I will also take of them for priests and for Levites, saith the LORD.

22 For as the new heavens and the new earth, which I will make, shall remain before me, saith the LORD, so shall your seed and your name remain.

23 And it shall come to pass, that from one new moon to another, and from one sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship before me, saith the LORD.

24 And they shall go forth, and look upon the carcases of the men that have transgressed against me: for their worm shall not die, neither shall their fire be quenched; and they shall be an abhorring unto all flesh.

Be comforted, the Lord is in this political game!

Once upon a time, there was a small Christian community in a village nestled in the hills. The people of this community were kind, humble, and lived their lives with a strong faith in God. They prayed every day, asking for guidance, strength, and blessings.

One day, the village was hit by a terrible drought that lasted for months. The crops were dying, the streams had dried up, and the animals were beginning to suffer. The people were growing desperate and worried about their future.

The villagers decided to come together and pray for rain. They gathered in their church and prayed with all their might. They prayed for hours, asking God to bring rain and end the drought. After their prayer session, they felt hopeful and believed that God would answer their prayers.

The next day, something miraculous happened. Clouds gathered in the sky, and it began to rain. The rain was not just a light drizzle but a heavy downpour that lasted for hours. The people of the village were overjoyed and thanked God for answering their prayers.

The rain continued to pour for several days, and the villagers were amazed by the abundance of water. The streams began to flow again, and the plants started to grow. The animals were no longer suffering, and the people were happy.

The power of prayer was undeniable. The villagers knew that their faith and their prayers had moved God to act on their behalf. They were grateful and humbled by this experience and continued to pray every day, thanking God for his goodness and mercy.

From that day on, the village was known as a place where people believed in the power of prayer. The villagers would often share their story with others, encouraging them to have faith in God and trust in the power of prayer. They knew that their prayers had brought rain, but they also knew that prayer could bring other blessings as well.

In the end, the power of prayer transformed the village and the people who lived there. They had learned that prayer was not just a ritual but a powerful tool that could move mountains and change lives. And they continued to live their lives with faith, hope, and love, knowing that God was always listening to their prayers.

Isaiah 34:16 NKJV
Search from the book of the LORD and read: Not one of these shall fail; Not one shall lack her mate. For My mouth has commanded it, and His Spirit has gathered them.

I pray for each and every one reading this; who is in need of a life partner, or looking forward to marriage, and the way hasn't opened yet. The efficacy of the scripture above speaks over your life.

Good news from you before June this year. In Jesus, the most exalted Name!
Amen.
