Hydrocortisone Sodium Succinate 100 mg injection 💉 is a corticosteroid medicine used when the body needs the effects of hydrocortisone quickly, particularly when oral treatment isn’t suitable.

✍️WHAT IS IT MEANT FOR?
Hydrocortisone injection may be used by healthcare professionals in conditions such as:

1. Adrenal insufficiency/adrenal crisis, when the body does not produce enough cortisol and urgent replacement is needed.

2. Severe allergic reactions, as part of appropriate emergency treatment.

3. Severe skin and other inflammatory conditions where systemic corticosteroid treatment is indicated.

⚠️ BUT HERE IS WHAT YOU MUST NOT DO:
Don’t use it simply because you feel weak or as a routine treatment for malaria or typhoid.
Don’t self-inject it without proper medical assessment.

đź“ŚHydrocortisone can affect blood sugar, blood pressure, fluid balance and immune responses, so it should be used for the right patient, at the right dose, for the right reason.

Remember:
The fact that an injection is powerful doesn’t mean your body needs it. The diagnosis should determine the medicine—not the other way around.

WALKING FOR AWARENESS, WALKING FOR LIFE! WALKING AGAINST PROSTATE CANCERđź’™

During the Pharmacists’ Week celebration, we took a walk to raise awareness about prostate cancer and the importance of early detection.

Prostate cancer is one of the common cancers affecting men, especially as they grow older. Early stages may not cause obvious symptoms, which is why regular medical check-ups and appropriate screening are important.

Let’s encourage the men in our lives to know their risk, pay attention to changes in their health, and seek medical advice early.
