(THE DRY BROOK AND US)"And it came to pass after a while,that the brook dried up,because there had been no rain in the land"(1 king 17:7).It is very important that we don't miss the point this verse is making.The Brook dried up because there had not been rain in the land.This brook was God's channel of providing water for Elijah (the man of God).

God in his infinite mercy and wisdom will use different men and women at different points to support you in life and ministry. They are channels of God's blessings. They are the brooks God will use to quench your thirst.

However, it is important you don't see them more than what they are.They are channels of God's blessing and not the source of your blessing.God is the source.

Furthermore, just as the brook dried up,God's channels of blessing are not meant to last forever.When God raise men and women to support your work, don't make the mistake of thinking they will last forever.They are there to fulfill a purpose in your ministry and can be reassigned according to God's will.

A lot of us tie ourselves to these men and women God Has brought to support us as if they are the source of our blessing. We use all manners of tricks to tie them down to our ministry so they will not run away.We act as if we are the ones that brought them in the first place.

Furthermore, when we see them as the source of our blessing we hold on to them and it becomes difficult for us to rebuke them when they make mistake for fear of loosing them.We glorify them and over pamper them to the detriment of their spiritual life.we share the glory that is due God with these channels of blessing. Remember God's glory will He share with no man.

Don't be afraid of the brook drying.If a brook dries as it sometimes will,if the man or woman God has been using to support your ministry stops supporting you,don't panick.Don't go begging and pleading as if they are the source. For every brook that dries up,there is a woman of Zerephat that will take over.Let us magnify our offices.

What do we owe these channels of God's blessings?We owe them prayers and Godly counsel.Even when they have stopped supporting we should continue to pray for them and relate with them as if nothing happened. They are only channels and not the source.God will always provide for His servant if he will focus only on Him.God bless all channels of His blessing.

Praise God,it is wonderful to hear that a man/woman is justified only by Faith before God.The Epistles which are the revelations of new creation man are all in agreement that a man/woman is not justified in any other way but by faith.

You can't please God through your human efforts or by keeping to the law.Without faith it is impossible to please God(Heb.11:6).

Justified means you have been declared righteous and not guilty of any sin the moment you you believe in our Lord Jesus Christ. And your life from that moment is expected be lived by faith from that moment to the end(Roms.1:17).

I know that it makes the devil mad that you've been declared righteous and not guilty. Even religious folks are disappointed because they have concluded you guilty with stones in their hands raised to cast you to death.Thank God their is no more condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus (ROMs.8:1).

All thes were made possible for us by the death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ.The law of sin and die came through moses,but grace- unmerited favour came through Moses(John 1:17).The law says you have sinned and must die but grace says you are justified.

Being justified makes you qualified to be a partaker of the inheritance of the saints (Col.1:12).This means you are now qualified for every promise and provisions of the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Let the word of God be true and every man/woman a lier.Accept who Christ Jesus has made you and fullfil your christian life.

For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life. 17. For if by one man's offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.)

Nothing is attainable in the kingdom of God without faith. What price did the woman with the issue of blood pay that brought about her healing?What price did blind bartimous pay that brought about him receiving his sight?

Everyone that received healing in the bible only exercised simply faith in our Lord Jesus Christ. They were all justified by their faith.They didn't receive condemnation for their sins or what they didn't do that they were supposed to do,,rather grace-unmerited favour that came by Jesus Christ overruled all their deficiencies.

That grace is still at work today.Simply faith in our Lord Jesus Christ is all you need. Where you are right now,you can be healed if you will put your faith on Jesus Christ.Believe that grace that came through him took way everything including your sin that would have stopped you from being healed.

Now pray:Lord Jesus,thank you for the grace that has abounded towards me by the the sacrifice of your blood,therefore I pronounce myself healed in every parts of my body now in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.

(MEN WHOSE HEARTS GOD HAD TOUCHED)From the scripture I have come to understand that God will not use every man or woman to support His assignment entrusted into your hands.

The case of Saul is one out of many in the scripture that proves that God selects men and women whose hearts he has touched to support every assignment he has given to His servant.

"And Saul went home to Gibeah,and there went with him a band of men whose hearts God had touched" (1Sam.10:26).Saul went home but God worked out the support for the work.He didn't use everyone but only men whose hearts He had touched.

I pray that the pressure of succeeding in ministry will not drive us into the mistake of forcing support from every Dick and Harry,especially financial support.

The Bible said Saul went home to Gibeah.This was all that he did and the owner of the work worked out the support.Saul did not pester anyone with phone calls and text messages for support.

There was no several visitation to any man's house.He just went home and allowed God work out the support for the work.

Fellow servants of God,one of the reasons people no more pick our calls and respond to our text messages for financial support is because we have not waited for God to touch their hearts.They are tired of our several visitation asking for money to do the work of God.

Some tell their children to tell us they are not in while they are in the House. Don't blame them my brothers and sisters because we have not allowed their hearts to be touched by God first.

After we have forced them to give,they murmur,complain,mock and insult us because their hearts were not touched by God.A man whose hearts is touched by God to support you in any way will give no sleep to his eyes until he has done what God wants him to do.And he will do it joyfully as unto God and not unto man.

It is time to wait on God for men and women whose hearts he will touch.He is the caller,therefore it is wise to know that He should be the provider of Spiritual, financial and material support.

When bad things happen to a Christian, people,even believers attribute it to his/her sins.You will hear them say"Are you sure he/she is living right with God?" or "don't mind this holy holy people,you don't know what they are doing in secret".

When a tower failed and killed eighteen people on a place called Siloam, people thought it was because they were the worst sinners.But Jesus said something profound below.

Luke 13:4
[4]Or those eighteen on whom the tower in Siloam fell and killed them–do you think that they were more guilty offenders (debtors) than all the others who dwelt in Jerusalem?

They were not the worst sinners.Bad things happen to good Christian.Though. God is not the author of evil,but He some times allows them in His own infinite wisdom.

Now,What sin did Joseph commit that warranted all the bad things that happened to him. What sin did Daniel commit that made them throw him into the Lions den. What sin did Abraham and Sarah commit that made them barren for those number of years.

I don't know what you are going through now and it looks like it is because you are the worst sinner that you are going through it.Even when everyone thinks that way,know that God doesn't think like man. So the opinion of people doesn't matter with God. And don't let people's opinion make you think that God has rejected you or abandoned you.

28. And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
Romans 8:28 KJV

All things in the above verse of the scripture is talking about the "good and bad" things. They work together to fulfill God's purpose for the life of a believer.

In your predicament,keep your focus on Jesus Christ,He is the author and finisher of your faith.

2. Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.

keep your focus on Jesus Christ,he will perfect all that concerns you and bring you to an expected end. He will make all things beautiful in your life at the end in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.

CREATE YOUR OWN WORLD FROM THE WORD OF GOD
Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.
Hebrews 11:3 KJV

The scripture says that all the visible things that God created were created by the things that are invisible. They were not created in any construction site with cement,sand,wood or any raw material.

Now the question is,how did it happen.The scripture above gave us the answer.They were called into existence by God's word.

But God first crested them in the spirit realm through His imagination. The word imagination comes from the Word image. The picture of what He wanted was first painted in the invisible realm.He had the clearity of what he wanted settled in the invisible realm. They were not ambiguous or vague. They were definite.

Also,they became His meditation and contemplation.Meditation simply means to imagine,to give a deep thought,to utter words.

This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.
Joshua 1:8 KJV

Meditate upon these things; give thyself wholly to them; that thy profiting may appear to all.
1 Timothy 4:15 KJV

Furthermore,He not only imagined them or contemplated on them,He began to speak them into existence.

You are created in the image of God. You have the Holy Spirit living inside of you. Through the scripture you can create your own world. create the image of your world from the Word of God. Imagine it,contemplate it and speak them into existence.If you hold on to your profession without weavering, God's word is faithful to do what it says it will do.
