Don't let this rainy season and the cold it brings be a reason for what you will call a mistake after 9months. Don't let the rain and the cold plan your life for you.

The rainy season will go away, but remember you can't wish away school fees. You can't wish away the extra mouth you will have to feed. The hospital expenses is not negotiable.

If the rain is your excuse for staying at home,count the cost. Don't let artery and vein give you direction this season. Let purpose define your direction. Wisdom is profitable to direct you this season.

Get understanding and wisdom this season in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.

THE MOST VOCAL BIRD IS NOT ALWAYS KING OF BIRDS
The most vocal bird is not always king of birds.Silence may be mistaken for cowardice,but there comes a time when silence is golden.When silence thunders louder than words.

At such time, don't fall under the pressure to speak. Too much words Robb's you the power to act. Even the most stupid person is seen to be powerful when silent.Nobody tells a person who said nothing to repeat what you didn't say.

A mother hawk sent out her children to go hunt for a prey. They caught a baby chicken and flew back to the nest to meet mother hawk. The mother hawk asked them" What did the mother chicken say when you caught this baby chicken?". They answered " she yelled and shouted ".The mother hawk told the children to eat it.

The next day,they went out again and this time caught a dockling. They took the dockling to mother hawk. The mother asked " what did the mother do when you caught this dockling?". They aswered "nothing" .She told them not to eat the dockling but send it back to the mother dock. The children asked her "why?". She told them that the silence was ominous.

There are times speaking out may be needful but there are many things you can achieve effortlessly without saying a word.

19. Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath:
James 1:19 KJV

If you are swift to hear,slow to speak and slow to wrath,you will attain power.

May God grant you understanding to know when to speak and when to remain silent in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.

People woke up to find the Leopard struggling to bring out the head from an earthern pot. Everybody wanted to help the Leopard,but nobody was sure of what the Leopard will do, if the head is pulled out the earthen pot.

The leopard was surrounded with help,but no body attempted to help. The attitude of the Leopard was the problem.For trying to help the Leopard,you may end up inside the intestine.

Many people are like the leopard. They are surrounded with help,but their attitude, character or behavior is scary.They have a history of making people who helped them victims.

May you not be a victim of the help you rendered to in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.

Many believers ignore the fact that they have need of being guided in certain areas of life. They have grown
too big to stoop low to learn.It is not about age, position or stature. Only those who are childlike can access the things of the kingdom of God.

3. And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.
Matthew 18:3 KJV

God is not withholding anything good from you(Psalm 84:11).Our union with Christ Jesus have made us qualified for all the inheritance of the saints (Col.1:12).One of your inheritance in Christ Jesus is the ability to hear and understand what God is saying to you.

11. And he said unto them, Unto you it is given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God: but unto them that are without, all these things are done in parables:
Mark 4:11 KJV

Your union with Christ Jesus has given you the licence to uncover mysteries-secret truths about the kingdom of God. But to unbelievers,the mysteries of the kingdom remains a mystery.

One of the reasons the Holy Spirit dwells in us is to lead us(Rom. 8:14).If the Holy Spirit is going to lead us,then there must be communication between us and Him.If you are not hearing from God,it may be that you don't know how to hear him. It isn't that He is not speaking. So you simply need to be guided like the young samuel under the tutelage of Eli the priest.

Actually,there are men/women gifted in this area. Find their books and tapes on this topic and study them. Attend conferences that has to do with this topics.Bishop David Oyedepo has rich books that will help you in this areas. Hearing from God should not be a turg of war. Know that as much as you want to hear from God,He also desires communication with you.

Also,study the Bible to know how God communicated to people in the old and new testament.

The Holy Spirit is the custodian of all divine revelation. You must get acquainted with Him.

10. But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.

He searches all things,even the deep things of God and reveals them to us.

THE WALL OF FIRE 🔥
There is this story about a nation, that suffered incessant attack from her enemies. They decided to build impenetrable wall around them.

The wall was completed and they mounted strong men at the gate. Everybody felt secured.But to their suprise,the enemies were still penetrating and attacking them.

They built impenetrable wall, mounted strong men at the gate. But they did not build men strong in integrity. The men at the gate were compromising. They were taking bribe and letting the enemies in.

1. Except the Lord build the house, they labour in vain that build it: except the Lord keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain.
Psalms 127:1 KJV

You may have built a strong charm around you, around your business/job and this makes you feel secured. The scripture says, that cursed is he that puts his trust in the arm of flesh.

5. Thus saith the Lord; Cursed be the man that trusteth in man, and maketh flesh his arm, and whose heart departeth from the Lord.
Jeremiah 17:5 KJV

If the Lord does not watch over you,your family, business/job and city,the watchmen keep wake but in vain. Don't put your trust in the arm of flesh,they will fail you. Put your trust only in God.

The Lord is a wall of fire round about his people. The Lord is a strong tower,the righteous will run into it and is safe secure.

THE IRONY OF LIFE
Each time I see this picture,it confirms to me that no man is on top of the game in life.He once stood a political colosus. But one wrong step,all the cookies crumbled.An irreparable colossal damage or one that may take long time to repair was done.

How well and quick the world,his friends,political associates,relatives have moved on. The world easily forgets and you are only important to them as long as there is something to gain from you.That's the irony of life. No man is indispensable. The world will always move on without you.

The lessons are obvious. The only one worth trusting is the almighty God.

5. Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. 6. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.
Proverbs 3:5-6 Kjv

As you navigate in this journey of life,know that your understanding and calculations is too parochial to be trusted. Don't lean on them. Rather in all your ways acknowledge God and he will direct your paths.

THERE IS NO PERFECT CRIME
If you are planning to commit a crime,first you must understand that there is no perfect crime. There will always be one loophole that will give you away and lead to your arrest.

Like they say,if you can't serve the term in prison, don't commit the crime. Have you thought about the number of years you will spend in prison? Is it worth it? Have you thought about the disgrace you will bring to yourself and loved ones.

Moses killed a man in Egypt and buried him in the sand. He thought it was a perfect crime. He forgot that you don't bury a person in the sand. He looked left and right and thought nobody saw him. But he didn't look up.Most people don't look up. They only look left and right and down.

If you forget anything, don't forget that God sits in heaven and He is watching. Nothing escapes his notice. Whstsoever a man does in this life,he will reap.

I pray that God will grant you understanding in His word as you navigate through this life in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.

The law of Moses was against us and contrary to us. No man under the law could experience redemption because the law made no provision for redemption.All the law did was to curse and kill every one, because everyone broke the law.

So Christ's death on the cross and resurrection annulled the law paving way for redemption of man. He took the law out of the way,so we can enjoy the blessing of Abraham that came not by obeying the law,but through faith in our Lord Jesus Christ. I pray that God grant you understanding as you study the scripture in the mighty name of Jesus Christ
