First sermon for the year 2026
Topic: my missing key
Text; Rev.3:7
Aim: To educate or remind us that there are keys to every door in life. Therefore, in 2026, we should search for the missing keys in order to achieve whatever we want we want.
Significance of key – AKATS
A= Access and opportunity
K = Knowledge and understanding
A = Authority and power
T = Trust and confident
S = Secret
Note: there is a key to successes of any kind, key to failure, success in spiritual life, key to marriage success, key to academic success, to business success, key to congregational growth and stability, key to good health, key to rest at dead, key to wisdom, key to genuine riches, key to ministerial success, etc.
Success in spiritual life – Josh. 1;8-9, Jms.1:25
Keys to business success – Prov.22:29, Ps.103:13
Congregational growth and stability (unity of purpose) - Ps. 133;1-3
Key to marriage success (love and submissiveness) – Eph. 5:22-25
Key to wisdom (reserved respect for God) – Pro. 9:10
Conclusion: do not allow your new year resolutions to be illusion. Don’t allow people to see you where they saw you last year.
Do not remain a fan in the church but a player
Reject stagnation but accept moving forward.
May you stay strong this year, may you be healthy, may stay safe and may we all be happy this year than ever, in Jesus precious name I pray, amen
