MEDIA GURU RELINQUISHES POWER AT 16TH EVO COMPANY
Mene Nwinee, Media Officer of the Rivers State Council, hands over leadership to a worthy successor, Essien Justina, in a special BB service held on Sunday 26th May, 2024 at Methodist Church Nigeria, Woji.
Mene, held the office of Captain for over a decade, combining company administration and media practice, but creating a balance and maintain astute leadership in both roles.
His 14 years tenure was capitalized with kingdom advancement, human capacity building and community service.
16th Evo Company witnessed innovations in her programmes and activities as they better the lives of boys, officers and Patron's on whose mandate the company was established.
His visionary leadership and dedication to his duties as Captain earned him many badges and the Office he occupies at the State.
The enrollment featured, declaration of Chaplain, Enrollment of Boy's and officers, and induction of Patron's.
Mene was honoured by the Rivers State Council with a strong delegation notably; Sir Chief Raymond Elenwoke, ABH., State Vice President Projects and Investments representing the State President; Mr. Joseph Ubom ANTO., Chairman State Trainers Forum representing the State Secretary-Organizer; Sir Chukwuemeka Daniel Awanye ABH., Chairman Obio/Akpor Battalion Council; Mr. Ekani ThankGod A. NTO., Secretary Obio/Akpor Battalion Council; Mr. Richard Inimgba ANTO., State Sports Coordinator 1; Mr. Charles Isaiah ANTO., State Chief Protocol Officer amongst other Patrons, Officers and Boys across thee State Council.
Mene's legacy of leadership and dedication will serve as an inspiration to the company for many years to come as he steps down.
At this point in time, the Company is about to embark on a new chapter under the direction of a new leader, but it will always be influenced by Mene's extraordinary contributions and unshakable dedication to its purpose.
