Topic: TO BE A WATCHMAN

Text: Eze 3: 16, Amos 3:7
The day you accepted Christ is the day you decided to become a watchman in your family. On the last day, you will answer for everything that happened in that family. If you marry an unbeliever, if anything happens to that family, the blood of your spouse will be required on your head. As a member of a family, if anything happens to any member of that family, their blood will be required on your head. In this fasting and prayers, you ought to put the names of your family members in your prayer points.
Surprisingly, God will only reveal things that you pray about to you, He cannot give you what you will not value. So, you have a responsibility to cater for their spiritual welfare. If you only pray for yourself maybe about money, if you are the only person being blessed in your family, you will die early. But when you pray for them and they turn around and envy you, the Lord will rise and fight for you.
In most cases, God does not talk to us during fasting and prayers, rather after your fasting. This is when you need to be very careful so that you will not destroy your communication channel with God.
Note this: once you go late to a church service and the pastor is preaching, it is a distraction for you. Everything in God’s presence follows order, if you arrive during worship, just join them and worship and so on. Any part of the service you meet, join them in that session immediately.
In the Bible text above, after Ezekiel observed the fasting and prayer, the Lord now spoke to him. You as a person belong to a family, and God said that He is making you a watchman to your family. Why would God hold you responsible? Most women, they see their husbands doing something wrong yet you keep quiet because you are afraid. You have a lion share of every evil you saw people commit and ran to you and you kept quiet. We are afraid of having issues with mortal men, would you rather have problems with God? EVEN WHEN THEY RISE TO FIGHT YOU, SAY THE TRUTH BECAUSE THIS IS THE ONLY WAY YOU CAN ESCAPE GOD’s WRATH.
Too much of collecting gifts from people will make you unable to tell people the truth. Once you know the truth and refuse to defend it, you are a betrayer like Judas Iscariot. If you are not saying the truth in your family, you are a destroyer. Just because of peanuts, you cannot tell people the truth,, destruction awaits you. God has given me the GRACE to say the truth no matter what because I see the earthly thing as such and they have no power to qualify me to enter into heaven. When you begin to say the truth, you will be persecuted initially and after that they will respect you, whenever they want to find out the truth about something, they will consult you. If you behave otherwise, there is no way they can respect or regard you.
In 2011, a man came to pay tithe in my office and God told me that the man is a womanizer. So I asked him to call in the wife though he offered lame excuses rather I persisted. When the woman came in I told him that his wife is crying. He denied but the woman answered in the affirmative. I now told him point blank that he is a womanizer, initially I noticed a frown on his face then I told him that I don’t need his money to run the ministry and there was no amount possible for him to use and buy my conscience because I am a watchman over souls. I then told him to change his ways.
Jesus said that if they hated me for saying the truth, you will equally be hated. Don’t allow any man to destroy you. If they decide to hate you, so be it after all since they have been loving you, what have you achieved? What is pursuing people away from this Ministry is the TRUTH. If you want to be truly respected, stand on the truth.
If I give you a false prophecy and charge money, I would not get to this height I am now because the foundation of my wealth is built with falsehood. Anything whose foundation if laid with lies would not stand.
Some years back, a young lady came to me with a marriage prayer point and I told her to come back in about a weeks’ time for me to pray. The day she came back, God told me that the man she intends to marry has a short lifespan, that this problem originates from the man’s family. God equally told me that the young lady has #5,000 in her purse and she will give it to me if I confirm the man as her husband or take it back with her if I tell her otherwise. So when she entered my office, I told her all these rather she insisted that about ten prophets at Aba had already confirmed him as her husband. Six months later, she informed me of their marriage ceremony and brought wine/ card for me. I collected the wine but rejected the invitation card reminding her of the things I told her previously. She asked me to pray for dry weather which I did. And God gave them dry weather/ incidentally, after about three months, that man was travelling to Abuja when his car ran into the bush. Only the driver was saved, the man died instantly. She came to my office after the burial ceremony all clad in white crying and I asked her,” why would the wife of a politician/ honorable member of a legislative house doing wearing white and crying. It was then that she confirmed my suspicion.
You may be castigated when you say the truth but after this, they will respect you. Truth will never mislead you, they will rather hate you but the most important thing is that you are filled with Joy because you have saved souls. Don’t use lie to build yourself, if you tell a righteous man that he is doing evil, if he insists, his blood will never be required on your head but when you tell him and he retraces his steps, you have saved that soul.
Anyone that fights against the truth is fighting against God, you also become untouchable. Make sure you extend this truth to your family members. God Almighty has made you a watchman, take care of your family, your life etc.
PRAYER POINT: oh Lord, give me the GRACE to say the truth, give boldness and sound mind stand with the truth in Jesus Name, Amen.
