ADVENTIST WORLD RADIO SABBATH

Please know that the General Conference through Adventist World Radio has designed March 12th 2022, as World Radio Day, to celebrate the unique ability of radio to “touch lives and bring people together across every corner of the globe”.
Adventist World Radio is the official global radio ministry of the Seventh-day Adventist Church. Its mission is to broadcast the Adventist hope in Christ to the unreached people/groups of the world in their own languages.
The objectives of the Adventist World Radio Day is to raise greater awareness in our churches and the media of the importance of radio evangelism; to encourage church leaders through the communication ministry to establish and provide access to Adventist information through radio; believing that with powerful and enriching spiritual contents, the church could win more souls from broadcast to baptism.
In compliance with the directive, the Port Harcourt Conference understanding the vision of the Media Ministry as *a strong channel of soul winning for the church in her PENTECOST 2023* and the long term vision of establishing a sub arm of AWR in Nigeria ENUC precisely identifies with the world church in this regard and has executed policies in reaching out to the populace in our territorial boundaries.
Presently, The Administration of Port Harcourt Conference has two Radio Programme on the Airwaves, *The Hour of Inspiration at Wish 99.5 FM (5-6pm every Sunday) and Rhythm of Hope at Treasure 98.5 FM (6:15am on Sundays)* both in Port Harcourt.
The aim of these Radio Programmes isn’t just to bring the gospel message close to the doorstep of our listeners, but as a Public relation tool to herald the Adventist church to those who have wrong notions of the church. Hence the need to join resources together in other to sustain our programs on air.
