CHOOSE JOY !!!

TODAY'S SCRIPTURE:
This is the day that the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it. Psalm 118:24, ESV

TODAY'S WORD:
Did you make up your mind to be happy this morning? It's important to be on the offensive when it comes to your happiness. If you don't set the tone early in the day, the enemy will start reminding you of all your problems and everything that's wrong in your life. Before long, you'll be negative and discouraged. Notice that the Scripture doesn't say, "I might be glad today if everything goes well, if I don't get stuck in traffic, if my boss doesn't yell at me, or if it doesn't rain on my new hairdo." No, the psalmist says, "I will rejoice and be glad." No matter what kind of difficulties I face today—no matter who tries to make me upset—I choose to be happy.

Happiness is a decision you make, not an emotion you feel. Never forget that although you might not be able to choose your circumstances, you can always choose how you respond to them. If you'll make the decision to stay full of joy, if you'll choose to be happy in spite of your circumstances, the enemy can't keep you down and defeated. God will give you supernatural strength to overcome every obstacle you face, and you'll live that life of overcoming victory He has in store for you.

PRAYER FOR TODAY:
God, I am making the decision today to be a grateful person! You have richly blessed me and I am going to count those blessings everyday. When I make a daily list of 10, it will be in honor of You. In Jesus' name - Amen.

HOW TO AVOID BEING VICTIM OF SOCIAL MEDIA SCAMS!!!

Avoiding social media scams requires vigilance, skepticism, and awareness of common tactics used by scammers. Here are some tips to help you stay safe:
1. Be Skeptical of Unsolicited Messages: Ignore messages from people you don’t know. Be wary of offers that seem too good to be true.
2. Verify Profiles: Check if the profile is verified or has a history of activity. Look for inconsistencies in the profile information.
3. Use Strong, Unique Passwords: Use different passwords for each social media account. Consider using a password manager to keep track of your passwords.
4. Enable Two-Factor Authentication (2FA): This adds an extra layer of security by requiring a second verification form.
5. Be Cautious with Links and Attachments: Don’t click on links or download attachments from unknown or suspicious sources.
6. Review Privacy Settings: Adjust your privacy settings to control who can see your information and posts. Limit the amount of personal information you share online.
7. Educate Yourself: Stay informed about the latest scams and tactics used by cybercriminals. Follow reputable sources for updates on cybersecurity.
8. Report Suspicious Activity: Report any suspicious messages, profiles, or posts to the social media platform—block and report individuals who appear to be scammers.
9. Be Careful with Financial Transactions: Avoid conducting financial transactions through social media platforms. Use secure and verified payment methods.
10. Check for Secure Connections: Ensure the website you are visiting is secure (look for "https" in the URL). Be cautious of sites that ask for sensitive information without proper security measures.
Maintaining a healthy level of skepticism and taking proactive security measures, can significantly reduce your risk of falling victim to social media scams.

EXPANSION !!!

TODAY'S SCRIPTURE:
So David and his men wept aloud until they had no strength left to weep. 1 Samuel 30:4, NIV

TODAY'S WORD:
First Samuel 30 records the greatest defeat David had ever suffered. He and his six hundred men returned from a mission only to find their city burned, their wives and children kidnapped by Amalekite bandits, and all their possessions stolen. Then David’s men started blaming him and talked about stoning him. It wasn’t fair that the wrong thing happened when David was doing the right thing. But God doesn’t promise that life will always be fair. It’s what we do in these unfair times that determines whether we get stuck and let it sour the rest of our lives or whether we move forward and see God expand us. What made David a champion is that he shook off the defeated mind-set and went forward to recover all that had been taken plus spoils from the bandits. He understood the principle that you have to get up when you’ve been knocked down and not use it as an excuse to stop. On the other side of the excuse is expansion, a new level of our destiny.

PRAYER FOR TODAY:
“Father, thank You that Your power to strengthen me in times of unfairness is greater than any force that comes against me. Thank You that I can put discouragement behind me and push forward in faith. I believe that expansion is coming—something greater, something better. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”

1. BE DELIBERATE WITH YOUR DAY !!!
When you are intentional with your time, energy, and focus each day, you are far more likely to achieve the result you want. Being intentional with your time ensures you have a clear structure for your day and allows you to establish daily routines that support your goals.
When you have greater direction and purpose, you know exactly where to invest your time and attention. Your time is aligned with your bigger purpose which increases creativity and productivity.
Without an intentional focus for your day, you can feel stuck and waste time on non-important activities. Without intention, you can take on too much and get easily distracted.
To be more deliberate with your day, identify the three important activities that will help you achieve the outcome you want. This will ensure you feel proud about what you’ve achieved, which boosts confidence and self-esteem.
Having an intentional commitment to what you want aligns your actions with your goals and ensures you focus your time on your biggest priorities.

BE HUMBLE !!!

TODAY'S SCRIPTURE:
1 Peter 5:5, NIV - All of you, clothe yourselves with humility toward one another, because, "God opposes the proud but shows favor to the humble."

TODAY'S WORD:
In Daniel 4, King Nebuchadnezzar looked out over his magnificent city and said, "Is not this the great Babylon I have built as the royal residence, by my mighty power and for the glory of my majesty?" His attitude was, "Look at me. It is my power, my might, my majesty." The problem is that we aren't created to take the glory; we're created to give God the glory. God will show you His favor as long as you're letting His glory flow through you up to Him. But the moment you start keeping the glory, it will leave, which is exactly what happened to Nebuchadnezzar.

Be careful to give God the glory for your accomplishments. God opposes the proud. Always be humble and say, "God, it was Your goodness that got me to where I am, that delivered me from the mistakes I made, that kept the opposition from defeating me, and that opened the doors of opportunity. Thank You." When you give God the credit, He'll take you further than you ever dreamed.

PRAYER FOR TODAY:
Father, thank You that You are the Most High God who rules over the nations. I recognize Your goodness in my life and where I am at today. You chose to bless me, to have mercy on me, and to take me where I couldn't go on my own. I humble myself and give You all the glory. In Jesus' Name, Amen.

MAKE WISE DECISIONS !!!

TODAY'S SCRIPTURE:
The Israelites examined their food, but they did not consult the LORD. Joshua 9:14, NLT

TODAY'S WORD:
Joshua and the Israelites had just defeated Jericho miraculously. God’s favor was on them. A group of people, who lived nearby, knowing they also would be destroyed, came up with an elaborate plan to deceive Joshua into believing they were from a distant land and make a peace treaty with them, which God had forbidden. It was a persuasive deception on the surface, and it became a big headache that could have been avoided if Joshua had consulted the Lord.

That’s why you need to consult with the Lord before you get involved with people, before you sign that contract, before you put the money down. People show you one side, but God can see the whole package. You’re not going to make the best decisions if you’re not consulting with God. He will protect you from making mistakes, open the right doors, bring the right people, and take you to the fullness of your destiny.

PRAYER FOR TODAY:
“Father, thank You for all the ways You have protected me from harm and mistakes. Thank You that You haven’t left me on my own to work out my destiny. I will choose to consult You for wisdom and guidance in my decisions. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”

Be mindful of your most important relationships

Intentionality increases the value of your most important relationships and brings deeper meaning to them. When you appreciate your most important relationships, you experience greater gratitude, abundance, and self-awareness.

It helps you understand the purpose and importance of every relationship you have. When you take the time to understand why a relationship is important, you feel happier.

When you express gratitude to someone, their value in your life grows. Identifying what you want from a relationship ensures you are clear about the best result you want from that relationship.

Being present in communication with the people that matter also shows how much you value them.

DON'T GET INFECTED !!!

TODAY'S SCRIPTURE:
Proverbs 22:24, MSG - Don’t hang out with angry people; don’t keep company with hotheads. Bad temper is contagious—don’t get infected.

TODAY'S WORD:
Do you realize that one thing that can easily stunt your growth is the people with whom you’re spending time. You need to evaluate your friendships. Are they making you better, pushing you up higher, inspiring you to reach your dreams? Or are they causing you to compromise, to be mediocre, to take the easy way out? The Scripture says you’re going to become like the people you continually associate with. It also says, “If you walk with wise people, you will become wise.” If the people you associate with gossip, complain about the boss, are unfaithful in relationships, and hard to get along with, do yourself a favor and find some new friends. Spirits are transferable. You may not realize it, but they’re blocking your growth and limiting your potential. You have to make the change.

Your destiny is too great to hang around people who are not adding to your life. You need people who bring out the best in you, people who inspire you to do better, who challenge you to live a life of excellence and integrity.

PRAYER FOR TODAY:
Father, thank You for making it so plain that I need to be selective about whom I surround myself with. Help me to protect what You have entrusted to me so I can reach my highest potential. I commit myself to surrounding myself with people who inspire me and make me better. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

IT REALLY DOESN'T MATTER !!!

TODAY'S SCRIPTURE:
Luke 4:3, CEV - The devil said to Jesus, “If you are God’s Son, tell this stone to turn into bread.”

TODAY'S WORD:
After Jesus was baptized, God the Father said, “This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.” Then Jesus was led into the desert to be tempted. After forty days, the enemy spoke today’s Scripture. The devil was saying, “Jesus, prove that You’re really the Son of God.” Jesus refused. He said, “Man doesn’t live by bread alone.” He was saying, “I don’t have anything to prove. My Father announced who I am. I was His Son in the water, and I’m His Son in the desert. I won’t waste My time trying to convince you of who I am. I have a destiny to fulfill.”

As with Jesus, it really doesn’t matter what the enemy or other people think of you.

You have nothing to prove. When God looks at you, He says, “That’s My child, in whom I am well pleased.” Others may not be for you, they may try to discredit you or withhold their approval, but big deal. You are approved. You are accepted. You are anointed. Now step into your destiny.

PRAYER FOR TODAY:
Father, thank You that I can feel good about who I am because You made me just as I am and You are well pleased with me. Thank You that I can be free from trying to prove who I am to others. I’m happy to be Your child and to keep moving into my destiny. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
