THE LATTER GLORY

On Friday, 18th December 2025, a historic milestone was recorded in the annals of the church as Sp. Ap. Pst. (Dr) I. A. Famodimu, the Abeokuta Circuit Chairman, officially laid the first foundation block of the CSMC Mountain of Fulfilling Promise Ona-Egbo Chapel Church Auditorium.

The foundation-laying ceremony symbolized more than the commencement of a building project; it was a prophetic act of faith and obedience, declaring the fulfillment of God’s promise that the latter glory shall surpass the former. It marked the beginning of a new season of growth, stability, and divine manifestation for the Ona-Egbo worship community.

The event was witnessed by the Abeokuta Circuit Chairman, alongside two Elders from Abeokuta Branch I, who joined in prayers and thanksgiving for the success of the project.
Also in attendance was the Leader-in-Charge of CSMC Valley of Blessing, Ilaro Branch, Sp. Ap. Pst. (Dr) M. S. Okunade, accompanied by his Elders-in-Council, who stood in unity and support of the vision.

Furthermore, the Leader-in-Charge of CSMC Strong Tower Chapel, Sabo Chapel, Mst. Snr. Snr. Ap. Pst. Fẹmi Adeoye, was present with his Elders-in-Council, lending spiritual and moral support to the historic occasion.

The leadership and members of CSMC Mountain of Fulfilling Promise Ona-Egbo Chapel were greatly encouraged by the presence of these distinguished servants of God, reflecting the spirit of unity and brotherhood within the circuit.

The Chapel Shepherd, Mst. Snr. Ap. Pro. E. O. Idowu, alongside the entire congregation, expressed gratitude to God for His faithfulness and for the grace to witness this divine beginning. Prayers were offered for divine provision, protection, wisdom, and the successful completion of the auditorium, that it may serve as a center of worship, spiritual growth, and community impact for generations to come.
Indeed, this foundation stands as a testimony of faith, sacrifice, and collective vision, heralding a season of expansion and fulfillment.

Congratulations to CSMC Mountain of Fulfilling Promise Ona-Egbo Chapel, Ilaro Branch, and the Abeokuta Circuit.
May this project fully manifest The Latter Glory.
