GOODWILL MESSAGE
Hurray!!! The Royal Ambassadors of Aatan Baptist Church, Bamidele, Oyedele, and Tella Chapters, Koso, Oyo, celebrate 30 years of propagating the Good News of our Lord Jesus Christ. To God be all the glory for the great things He has done.
I sincerely appreciate the visionaries behind this noble initiative in 1996, the president and boys of that era, who are now distinguished men; for laying a solid foundation for posterity. This appreciation will not be complete without acknowledging the First Ambassadors (Church Pastors) from inception till date, including the likes of Baba Akande, Rev’d Dr. S. O. Eyitayo, and Rev’d Dr. Shina Adekunle Amole, along with their families, who have consistently upheld evangelism as a mandate for every organization within the church. Thank you for your moral, spiritual, and immeasurable support.
I also appreciate our fathers under whose banner we operate, the Men Missionary Union of Aatan Baptist Church, Koso, Oyo and our patrons (Chief S. O. Egbedokun and Mrs. B. B. Adeyinka) for providing the structure and support that have sustained this great cause. I say a heartfelt thank you.
As an organization with the mandate of kingdom expansion, the Royal Ambassadors have not only propagated the gospel but have also served as a training ground for boys through various preaching stations (chapters), some of which have evolved into sister associations today.
The annual camping programme is not merely a celebration, but a fulfillment of the Great Commission as recorded in Matthew 28:19–20. Indeed, there are countless testimonies to affirm this.
As we celebrate God’s goodness in championing this cause, let us always remember that every boy has a role to play in the growth and continuity of this organization. You may be a boy today, but that does not mean you cannot be a leader tomorrow. Always maintain goodwill towards this organization, as your time to lead may come. Never allow your present to sabotage your future.
Kudos to the leaders I met and those I had the privilege to serve alongside, who continue to keep the flag flying with unwavering passion for kingdom expansion. Worthy of mention are Couns. Solomon Okunlola, Couns. Abel Akinade, Couns. Oyekola Amos O. (Pleni.), Couns. Adegoke D. Adedeji (Pleni.), Couns. (Rev’d) Elijah Ajibade (Pleni.), Amb. Oluwatosin O. Oyebamiji (Pleni.), Amb. Micheal A. Joseph (Pleni.), and the incumbent Amb. Samson O. Oladotun (Pleni. in view). May God continually strengthen the organization for greater exploits.
