As we gather in the presence of God tonight, I charge you to be people of persistent prayer.
Let your hearts be tuned to heaven, your voices lifted in faith, and your spirits unwavering in intercession.
Pray when it’s easy and when it’s hard.
Pray for your family, your leaders, your nation, and the lost.
Stand in the gap, trusting that God hears and answers.
For the Word declares, ‘The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much’ (James 5:16, KJV).
Never underestimate the power of prayer—
It changes things,
It changes us, and
It moves the hand of God.
