Topic: The Indispensable Role of the Holy Spirit in the Life of a Child of God

Text: Romans 12:26 | Genesis 1:1

Today, we were reminded of the indispensable role of the Holy Spirit in the life of every child of God.

The Holy Spirit is the third divine person of the Trinity — God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.

Who is a child of God?

• One who has been washed of their sins.
• One who has had a personal encounter with Jesus Christ.
• One who is born again of the Spirit, not of the flesh.

To be a child of God, we must turn away from our old ways of sin, accept Jesus Christ as our personal Lord and Saviour, and actively engage in the things of God through prayer, Bible study, and fellowship.

A life led by the Holy Spirit is a life that reflects Christ.
