The Adventist Students Fellowship, Federal University of Technology, Owerri (FUTO), has held a sendforth ceremony for its graduating members, known as the βPinnacles,β on Sunday, September 27, 2026.
The ceremony brought together fellowship members, leaders, friends and well-wishers to celebrate the graduating students and encourage them as they transition from university life into the labour market.
Speaking during the programme, the College District Leader, Pastor Solomon Joseph, based his message on Psalm 37:5, encouraging the Pinnacles to always remember God and delight themselves in His precepts. He assured them that God would prosper and guide them as they begin the next phase of their lives.
Responding on behalf of the Pinnacles, their spokesperson, Uchendu Samuel Chinaegbomkpam, expressed appreciation to everyone who attended the ceremony and supported the graduating members. He encouraged fellowship members to remember the high banner of excellence in service that the Pinnacles had raised and to continue upholding that standard.
Chinaegbomkpam urged the members to ensure that the legacy of excellence established by the Pinnacles does not fade even after their departure from the fellowship. He encouraged them to continue striving for excellence in service and uphold the values for which the Pinnacles were known.
