Mark 10: 1-16.

📌 There's always more you can learn from the Lord if you are willing to listen.

📌 As an amazing teacher, Jesus always explained things from the scriptures. The same should be the disposition of the believer.

📌 God's objective of marriage is a loving relationship of oneness.

📌 Leaving, cleaving, and weaving must be present in marriage. If there is a deficiency in any, grieving happens.

📌 Marriage is not a contract, it's a convenant.

📌 Two together, can accomplish four times more, than one will.

📌 Marriage is a serious business.

📌 What keeps a marriage is commitment and availability.

The need to see clearly.
Mark 8:22-26.

Perceiving is important to achieving. How clearly you can see is vital to succeeding as a Christian.

Jesus wants to lead you away from unbelief.

It's dangerous for a person or city to reject Jesus. Jesus wants to relate with you on a personal level.

Being born in a Christian home doesn't make you a Christian. There must be a personal encounter on a personal level. You must have a personal encounter with Jesus.

Regeneration happens instantly and it happens once.

From Jesus, there is:

THE TOUCH OF CONVINCTION.

THE TOUCH OF CONVERSATION and

THE TOUCH OF CORRECTION.

Jesus will ever keep correcting us.

we are a work in progress.

Jesus never does anything accidentally. He's intentional about everything he does.

There is so much more to a Christian life than conversion.

God wants to grow you spiritually until you conform to the image of Christ.

Excerpts from Pastor's teaching this morning on "TO HANDCUFF THE POWER OF GOD: how sin limits God's power in us."

Mark 8:11- 21.

📌 If you build your life on feelings, you'll never have faith.

📌 Be settled in your faith.

📌 Know God, have faith in what you know and worship him.

📌 Inorder to grow in faith, start by remembering God's power in your head and reflect on his purpose in your heart.

📌 You must never forget that God is with you.

📌 People are so fickle. Don't be fickle. Build convinctions on God's word and abide in it.

📌 The same Israelites who cried for their freedom from Egypt, wanted to go back there when they were faced with challenges.

📌 Being before challenges doesn't mean we should lose convinction.

📌 Every belief must be settled. Your beliefs about God must be settled with facts: God's word.

📌 If you're willing to listen, there is no going back with God.

Excerpts from Pastor's teaching this morning on "TO HANDCUFF THE POWER OF GOD: how sin limits God's power in us."

Mark 8:11- 21.

📌 God can be stopped from doing his will by our actions.

📌 Only those who dare to trust God will see his power manifest in their lives.

📌 For God to take you to the promised land, you'll have to pass through the red sea.

📌 No one goes to hell because God sends them there, people go to hell because they refuse to turn from their sins and follow Jesus.

📌 Our prayers to God, must not become ceremonial, they must be faith based.

📌 Learn to seek God for your life. Read the bible, pray and stay with him.

📌 The best way to stand when you're slipping is to call your mind back to facts, remember the things that he has done.

📌 Be settled in your faith. Be settled! know God's word and remain calm.

📌 If you build your life on feelings, you'll never have faith.
