The joy kept flowing throughout the event.
Here’s the second batch of moments from the Carol of Nine Lessons at Methodist High School, Ikenegbu, Owerri.
From the students’ heartfelt presentations to the glow of Christmas lights, every scene carried a message of hope.

Today was filled with music, scripture, and the warmth of Christmas hope.
The Carol of Nine Lessons at Methodist High School, Ikenegbu, Owerri was a beautiful gathering of students, staff, families, and friends — all lifted by the message of Christ.
We were honored to have our Bishop, Rt. Rev. G. U. Kanu, officiate the service, bringing a graceful touch to every moment.

This week, I speak God’s blessing over you.
Every ground you step on will answer with favour.
Every place your hands touch will yield good fruit.
Where others struggle, you will find ease.
Where there is dryness, you will carry increase.
Where there is confusion, you will walk with clarity.

May the Lord make your paths straight, your efforts productive, and your days filled with grace.
You will not labour in vain, and you will not return empty.
Blessings will follow you, rest with you, and rise with you.

Thereafter, the first Sunday service on the newly dedicated church land was nothing short of awesome!
God’s name was magnified, joy filled every heart, and the atmosphere was charged with worship, praise, and the Word.

Members were deeply moved, new members were added to the fold, and generous donations poured in for Rock of Ages Methodist Church, Ohii under the Diocese of Owerri.

Truly, God is doing a new thing in Ohii.
To Him alone be all the glory!

The Ohii outreach and church planting mission was gloriously concluded today!
His Lordship, Rt. Rev. G. U. Kanu, arrived and dedicated the church land—a land voluntarily and graciously donated to the Diocese by Elder Onyike Kalu.

It was a landmark moment for the community and for the mission of God.

The mission at Ohii, Owerri West grows stronger!
Under the guidance of Rt. Rev. G. U. Kanu, Methodist Church Nigeria, Diocese of Owerri, continues its impactful church planting outreach—graciously sponsored by Elder Onyike Kalu.

Day 2 carried on with the free medical outreach as community members received proper check-ups, consultation, and medications according to their needs. The smiles on their faces told the full story of God’s love in action.

Truly, this is ministry beyond the walls.
