And when David heard that Nabal was dead, he said, 'Blessed be the Lord, that hath pleaded the cause of my reproach from the hand of Nabal and hath kept his servant from evil: for the Lord hath returned the wickedness of Nabal upon his own head.' And David sent for and communed with Abigail to take her to him to wife.
1 Samuel 25:39
Today, Heavenly Father, through the power of this passage, I pray You open the eyes of my heart so that I may know and recognize when You are asking me to show kindness to strangers. I choose to live with an attitude of gratitude because You’ve gifted me with so much. Through Abigail's wisdom, I now know that my first response is to always show kindness to those in need. I decree and declare that I am beyond blessed, and I will use my abundance to show Your loving kindness to all that I come in contact with. I denounce any mindset that carries a lacking mentality; I denounce any selfishness that could arise within me, like Nabal! Thank You, Lord, that my salvation and active abundance come from Your loving heart, and it is in this same vein that I will do unto others as You’ve done unto me! I'm blessed to be a blessing! Thank You God that the story of Lazarus serves as a reminder that death has no power over my soul. Through the life of Jesus, continually displays for me the fact that he can conquer anything including the Goliath of death. Therefore, I will not be afraid to live my life to the fullest, because I know that I will not die but I will simply transition to my heavenly home when my time comes. I declare that I will not live with regret or remorse but instead I will maximize every opportunity that I'm given, I will love with an intense and compassionate heart and I will live out the purpose and plans that You have for me Lord. In the same way, Jesus, that You called forth Lazarus from the tomb, I now call forth from the tombs in my life the dreams and visions that have died because of fear and doubt! I thank You Lord that as I place them in Your hands You will breathe new life and new strategy into every dream and vision You’ve given me. In Jesus’ Name 🙏.

As My life continues to grow and evolve, I thank You Lord for blessing me with covenant relationships, like David and Jonathan’s. When I'm on the verge of stepping into my destiny, bless me with friendships that have the inside scoop on whomever is trying to cause me harm or hinder my purpose. I pronounce love and favor as the main companions in my friendships. I declare that the circle of friends surrounding my life are purpose driven and destiny minded. Thank You Lord that You are bringing the right people into my life at the right time. From this day forward I will make the conscious decision to invest into my relationships and ensure that our bond of friendship will be strong and purposeful. Even when it seems like I'm in a season of hiding and preparing, I will remain confident that distance and time won’t break the God connections surrounding my life. In Jesus’ Name, 🙏.

As I ponder on the truths of today's reading in 1 Samuel 19, I will focus my attention on the fact that You constantly provided inside intel to guide and protect David. In the same manner, I boldly request the same intel to guide and lead me as I walk through new doors and opportunities of uncertainty. Place the Jonathans in my life who will alert me of harmful plans and people whose main purpose is to dismantle my family, my business, my schooling, my ministry, my finances, and all relationships I have. Thank You for making a way out of no way, even when it seems like I'm retreating, help me to realize that I am actually running to my next place to experience another miracle. Nobody’s plans against me are more powerful than Your presence... This is why I will clothe myself with Your word and Your Holy Spirit! In Jesus’ Name, 🙏.

I thank You God for divine protection against my haters. Thank You that even when people plot and devise schemes to betray me and hinder Your call for my life, I will be able to dodge their attacks like David dodged the spears of Saul. If the marker for promotion gets unfairly pushed further back for me because of the favor You’ve placed on my life, I praise You for allowing me to exceed the expectations of my haters proving that You are with me indeed. When broken promises and deceitful measures seem to be before me I know You’ll surround me with people of valor who will help accomplish the impossible task devised against me to slow me down and block my blessings. I decree and declare that haters make room for the greater, and like David my life is living proof! In Jesus’ Name, 🙏.

But the Lord said unto Samuel, Look not on his countenance, or on the height of his stature; because I have refused him: for the Lord seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the Lord looketh on the heart.
1 Samuel 16:7
Thank You God that the same anointing that rested on David in 1 Samuel 16 is the same anointing that rests on my life. When men try to overlook me because of what they perceive as a hindrance, I thank You that You will anoint me in their presence, because You determine elevation by the heart. Therefore, keep my heart pure through all circumstances and seasons of my life because this will be the key to my opportunities and advancement. Just like You strategically placed David in the palace... the place of his future destiny, I thank You for placing me in the vicinity of my destiny as well. Father You can call upon me because my heart is positioned to do Your will fully and completely. If You’ll anoint me and choose me, I’ll go. Thank You for anointing me and calling me in the presence of those who doubt me. In Jesus’ Name, 🙏🏾.

Lord, through today's reading of 1 Samuel and through the life of Saul, I now see that obedience is better than sacrifice. With this truth, I am now going through my life, and like the Amalekites, I will get rid of anything that is contrary to Your word and to the life You are helping me to build. I will not let the “King Agags” in my life, that represent sinful and destructive behaviors, linger around me when You’ve commanded me to eradicate them completely. I will not partner myself with people who have corrupt and compromising character no matter how much wealth they promise me. Instead, like Samuel I will sever all ties because obedience to You is better than sacrificing my integrity for treasures and wealth that will bring my downfall. There’s no disloyalty in me God, I am unwavering and locked into my purpose! In Jesus’ Name, 🙏🏾.

Heavenly Father, today, I think of my heart and mind as a radio tuning in to a particular frequency. I want to be mindful of the frequency that I choose to receive. I want to pay attention to what I’m hearing, what I’m thinking, and what I’m saying. I will not tune in to the frequency of Satan—the accuser. I will not listen to his lies. I will not entertain the harmful and destructive things he tries to say to me. I will not accept his condemnation. I will not live in guilt and shame over past sins that have long been forgiven. I will not be filled with fear or dread of the future. Your Word says he has been cast down, defeated. He has no power over me. You have triumphed over him. Hallelujah! I choose to tune in to Your frequency, God, to hear what You are speaking to me. I want to hear Your truth—what You say about me and everything that concerns me. Your Word—that’s what I believe. That’s what gives me hope and peace and freedom. I confess today that my “air waves” are clear, my ears are open, and my heart is positioned to receive whatever You would speak to me. Dear Lord, today I ask that You give me the courage of Jonathan who was able to see victory in a seemingly impossible situation. When the odds seem stacked against me I choose to see myself overcoming all challenges that are before me! Whether 2 or 2000, I will move with precision and execute my plan of attack knowing that Your hand of favor is upon me and all those who are fighting alongside me to claim the territory and promises You’ve laid for us! The day of vindication and validation is upon me. Thank You God, that through You and Your power no weapon formed against me will prosper. When prideful people in positions of influence try to abuse their power and try to strike down my ideas and purpose, I declare that You will surround me with men and women of influence who will protect my post as the soldiers did for Jonathan! I announce today that I am Your person, I am the one You’ve chosen to step into new camps and doors of opportunities! I am victorious! In Jesus’ Name, 🙏

I declare that a new day is upon me! Today I declare that living a victorious life is my new norm and not my exception. As the victory over my circumstances increases I will not act as Saul in 1 Samuel 13 and allow my ambition and anxieties to cause me to move and act on the things that You’ve commanded me to wait on. Holy Spirit, quicken my courage so that I will not let the appearance of troubles cause me to step outside of my character and God given peace. I will wait patiently for You and Your instructions as it pertains to the plans for my future. I denounce negative prideful behaviors and arrogance from my mind. I declare that I am calm, centered, and clear headed in the face of trials, for I know that You are always with me. I thank You that my resolve has been strengthened and that my reliance is on my obedience which pleases You more than my sacrifices! In Jesus’ Name, 🙏.
