This is the Talbiyah recited by pilgrims performing Hajj and Umrah.
Its meaning is beautiful and deeply expresses monotheism and submission to Allah.
Labbayka Allahumma Labbayk, Labbayka la sharika laka Labbayk, Innal-hamda wan-ni‘mata laka wal-mulk, la sharika lak.
Meaning:
Labbayka Allahumma Labbayk:
I respond to Your call, O Allah, again and again.
Labbayka la sharika laka:
Affirming that Allah has no partner.
Innal-hamda wan-ni‘mata laka wal-mulk:
Indeed, all praise, blessings, and sovereignty belong to Allah alone.
La sharika lak:
A repetition affirming His oneness.
These words express:
Sincerity and devotion to Allah alone.
Recognition of His blessings and dominion.
A complete declaration of monotheism.
It is one of the greatest rituals of Hajj and Umrah, recited by Muslims with humility and joy as they turn to worship Allah.
