On the beautiful morning of Sunday, 24th May 2026, our parish family gathered in one spirit and one faith to celebrate the powerful feast of Pentecost. A day the Holy Spirit descended upon the Apostles, filling the Church with divine fire, courage and renewal.
The atmosphere in the Church was truly heavenly as songs of praise rose like incense, hearts were lifted in worship and the presence of God was deeply felt among His people. Dressed in radiant colors and glowing with joy, the faithful came together to experience once again the transforming power of the Holy Spirit.
Adding beauty and grace to this memorable celebration was the joyful Feast of St. Rita, specially celebrated by the CWO St. Rita’s Group. With devotion and Novena which ended in unity, the women honored St. Rita, the saint of impossible causes, peace and unwavering faith. Their presence reflected strength, humility and commitment to Christian womanhood and service in the Church.
The celebration became more than just an event; it was a moment of thanksgiving, fellowship, and spiritual revival. Through prayers, songs, thanksgiving processions, and joyful participation, the Church witnessed a beautiful union of faith and tradition.
As we continue in the spirit of Pentecost, our hearts now look forward in anticipation to the solemn celebration of The Trinity Sunday coming up on the 31st of May, a sacred reminder of the mystery and unity of God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit.
Indeed, this Pentecost celebration was a testimony that the Spirit of God is alive in His Church, renewing hearts, strengthening families and keeping the flame of faith burning brightly in our community.
May the Holy Spirit continue to guide us, and may the intercession of St. Rita remain with us always. Amen.
