INNA LILLAHI WA INNA ILAYHI RAJIʿUN

The Otta-Awori Muslim Community, under the spiritual leadership of Shaykh Al-Imam Ibraheem Sabeeq Aladi, the Highly Imam of Otta-Awori Muslim Community, formally announces the return to Allah of a revered elder, community leader, and titled chief,
Alhaji Muhideen Akanni Kelani
(The Alatunse Adini of Otta-Awori Muslim Community).

Alhaji Muhideen Akanni Kelani departed this world on Thursday, 5th February 2026, at about Maghrib time, after a life dedicated to the service of Islam and the growth of the Otta-Awori Muslim Community.

Janazah (Burial Arrangements)
The Janāzah prayer and burial rites shall be conducted as follows:
Date: Friday, 6th February 2026
Time: 10:00 a.m.
Venue: Otta-Awori Muslim Community Resting Place, Yidi Tuntun, Akeja, Osi, Otta, Ogun State.

The Otta-Awori Muslim Community deeply mourns the loss of a devoted servant of Allah whose commitment, humility, and contributions to religious and communal development will remain indelible.

We pray that Almighty Allah forgives his shortcomings, accepts his righteous deeds, grants him mercy, expands his grave, and admits him into Al-Jannatul-Firdaus.
May Allah grant his immediate family, relatives, associates, and the entire Muslim Ummah the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss. Aaaaamin.

Otta-Awori Muslim Community Council of Muslim Chiefs held its monthly meeting today 30th December, 2025, to deliberate on the progress and general affairs of the Muslim community.

Furthermore, it was resolved that subsequent monthly meetings of the Council shall hold on the second Thursday of every month.
