I want to take a moment to express my deepest gratitude to God for blessing me with a new year.

Over the past few decades, He has guided me through life's ups and downs, took me from nothing to a place of prominence, success, peace and I'm overwhelmed with thanksgiving and joy unspeakable full of glory

I stand today as a living proof that God's goodness has been my constant companion and for that, I'm eternally grateful. His mercies are new every morning, and His blessings are abundant over me and my family.

As I celebrate another glorious year, I am reminded of his goodness and faithfulness to me and I'm very excited about the new year, because I know he will yet bless me with good health, wisdom, resources and opportunities to be a blessing to others.

May His name be glorified in every aspect of my life.

Thank You, Lord, for your love and good hand upon my life.

Your baby girl is forever grateful.

QUESTION:
Does appearance matter in a relationship? Does age matters in a relationship?

ANSWER:
Although Age is very important but it is just a number,the most important thing you should look at in a relationship is the will of God.
What is necessary here is the guy, he need to empower and equip himself to be the head of the family that God has ordained him to be, spiritually physically financially and emotionally, he must step up over and above the wife/lady, in most cases I have witnessed four to five cases where the lady is older than the man, but you will never know except you were told, reason been that the guy met the requirements. And the moment a guy meet the requirements in marriage he is good to go.
Age is not maturity you can be aging and not be matured,, if you are 40 and still behave like 15 year old, mommy boy or daddy's boy then you are not matured, but you can be 25 and have the mindset of a 40 year old,
Conclusively, If the guy is matured then age doesn't matter, and for the lady in question, she needs a special grace to be absolutely submissive to the authority of the guy, take the age out of the way, treat him like the king of your life and the crown of your head , and with submission the marriage is already a success,,,
Secondly, Does appearance really Matter in a relationship?
Like I said during the course of my teaching, its a Yes and No , the most important thing is to dress moderately, and not the other way round, whether you are a guy or a lady, opening the sensitive part of your body all in the name of fashion speaks a lot about you, no responsible guy would want to approach a lady who is not well dressed, cause you can only attract your kind..as a lady dress moderately and responsibly, whether you are a guy or a lady , modesty is the key word. As a responsible lady you don't choose to go out with a guy who sags and who does not have a dress sense, no matter his spirituality he can not be responsible.
Dressing irresponsibly is quite different from one who is managing due to his financial capabilities, wearing one clothes all the time is not a sign of irresponsibility but rather lack of finance, you don't need to spend fortune on dress before you look good, it's not a Matter of money but mentality.
You must dress decently, modestly and responsibly.

Question:
My mother is bent on me getting married just because she got married at the age of 21. What can I do in this situation?

Answer:
You don't pattern your life after your mother's of course your mother can be your mentor, pastor, friend and one you look up to. Everyone has their lives to live, your mom will not live in that marriage with you, the question is are you ready and matured for marriage? Everyone has their time zone just as I have always advised,
God's time for us is the best, that you mom married at twenty one does not mean you will marry at 21, you can even marry below that but it all depends on your maturity..
The question is,
1 Are you ready for marriage?
2, Have you seen the guy, if yes is he prepared for you, how committed is he?
I will advise you focus on your education, build your self worth and then prayerfully pray for him.
If you choose to follow after your mom you may end up in relationships bo***ge which may lead to heartbreak

But if You are physically, spiritually, mentally and emotionally matured you can move on with the marriage but note that
you don't jump into marriage because of peer and family pressure and because your friend are getting married you must wait for the right time,,
Let your mom understand your purpose and plans in life, but if she is bent on you getting married, then seek for counsel or talk to someone she respects.
