Children of God I want you all to take your time to read this message!!!

---

Once upon a time, in a small village nestled between rolling hills and fertile fields, there lived a wise and devout man named Ezra. Ezra, inspired by the words of **James 1:5** - "If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you," was known throughout the land for his unwavering faith and his dedication to communicating with God.

Ezra believed that through prayer and communion with the divine, he could bring prosperity and favor upon his fellow villagers, echoing the sentiment of **Philippians 4:6-7** - "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."

Driven by faith, Ezra had heard tales of a sacred mountaintop, reminiscent of Moses' encounter with God on Mount Sinai (**Exodus 19:3-6**). The mountaintop was said to be a place where the heavens seemed to touch the earth, and it was believed that those who reached its summit could communicate more directly with God.

Determined to seek divine favor for his people, Ezra decided to embark on a journey to this sacred place, recalling the persistence encouraged in **Matthew 7:7** - "Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you."

The climb was arduous, with steep paths and treacherous terrain, akin to the challenges faced by the Israelites in their journey through the wilderness (**Deuteronomy 8:2**). Along the way, he faced numerous challenges, from wild beasts to unpredictable weather, mirroring the trials described in **1 Peter 4:12** - "Dear friends, do not be surprised at the fiery ordeal that has come on you to test you, as though something strange were happening to you."

Yet, Ezra pressed on, knowing that his journey was not in vain, inspired by the promise in **Isaiah 40:31** - "but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint."

As Ezra reached the summit, he fell to his knees and began to pour out his heart in prayer, just as Daniel did in the face of adversity (**Daniel 9:3**). He remained on the mountaintop for days, fasting and seeking divine guidance, echoing the fasting of Jesus before His ministry (**Matthew 4:2**).

In the quiet solitude of the sacred peak, Ezra felt a profound connection with the divine. He sensed God's presence and heard a still, small voice guiding him, reminiscent of Elijah's encounter with God (**1 Kings 19:11-12**). Through this communion, Ezra gained insight into the needs of his community and received divine instructions on how to lead them to prosperity.

With newfound wisdom, Ezra descended the mountain and returned to his village, embodying the charge given to Joshua - **Joshua 1:9** - "Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go."

He shared the divine guidance he had received, teaching his fellow villagers the ways of righteousness and the importance of unity and compassion, echoing the teachings of Jesus in **John 13:34-35** - "A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples if you love one another."

The people, recognizing the sincerity and devotion in Ezra's heart, followed his guidance with faith and obedience, mirroring the response of the early Christians to the apostles' teachings in **Acts 2:42-47**.

God's favor indeed shone upon the village. The fields became more bountiful, and the people experienced prosperity beyond their expectations, fulfilling the promise in **Malachi 3:10** - "Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this," says the LORD Almighty, "and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that there will not be room enough to store it."

The community flourished, and the bonds among its members grew stronger, reflecting the unity encouraged in **Psalm 133:1** - "How good and pleasant it is when God’s people live together in unity!"

The story of Ezra's journey to the sacred mountaintop became a testament to the power of faith, perseverance, and the willingness to go the extra mile to communicate with God for the sake of prosperity, aligning with the promise in **Jeremiah 29:11** - "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope."

The lesson echoed through the generations, emphasizing the importance of following and supporting men and women of God who tirelessly seek divine guidance for the well-being of their communities, as encouraged in **Hebrews 13:7** - "Remember your leaders, those who spoke to you the word of God. Consider the outcome of their way of life, and imitate their faith."

The villagers learned that by aligning themselves with such leaders, they could walk the path of righteousness and enjoy the blessings of God's favor, echoing the words of **Proverbs 3:5-6** - "Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight."

Amen and God shall continue to bless you all patapata
