An Encounter That Makes Us New
Romans 6:5
For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection:

An encounter with Christ is never casual or temporary; it is transformative. When we truly meet Him, something within us is recreated. Old identities shaped by fear, sin, and brokenness give way to a new life rooted in grace and truth. This encounter does not merely improve us, it redefines us. In Christ, we receive a new identity and a renewed purpose.

As we are made new, Christ also assumes His rightful place in our lives. He becomes our High Priest, the one who stands before God on our behalf, reconciling us through His sacrifice. At the same time, He is our Chief Shepherd, lovingly guiding, protecting, and leading us into maturity and wholeness. Under His priesthood we find forgiveness; under His shepherding we find direction.
Thus, an encounter with Christ is the beginning of a lifelong journey of transformation, communion, and guidance. where we are continually shaped into who we were meant to be in Him.

2026 PROPHETIC DECLARATION
NEWNESS OF LIFE
(Haggai Chapter 2)
THE WORD OF THE LORD FOR 2026
“NEWNESS OF LIFE”
Thus says the Lord:
2026 is a year of Newness of Life not cosmetic change, but spiritual, structural, and destiny renewal. This newness will come through shaking, through obedience, and through My abiding Spirit. “My Spirit remains among you; do not fear.” (Hag. 2:5)
1. NEWNESS OF LIFE THROUGH DIVINE SHAKING
“Yet once more I will shake the heavens and the earth…” (v.6)
The Lord declares: What dies in the shaking was never meant to live. What survives the shaking is ordained for glory.
Newness of life will emerge where old structures collapse. This is specific for the nation Nigeria the nation will experience collapse in some system that will lead to a new design that will benefit everybody in the nation. Dead systems will give way to living works.
2. NEWNESS OF LIFE IN GLORY
“The glory of this latter house shall be greater than the former.” (v.9)
2026 will not restore the past—it will surpass it. God will breathe life into what seemed ordinary, forgotten, or abandoned. New life will carry greater glory than former seasons.
3. NEWNESS OF LIFE IN PROVISION
“The silver is Mine, and the gold is Mine.” (v.8)
Provision will no longer struggle to find purpose. God will redirect resources toward life-giving assignments. This year, supply will follow obedience.

4. NEWNESS OF LIFE FROM A MARKED DAY
“From this day I will bless you.” (v.19)
God will mark a definite turning point in 2026: Dry ground will yield fruit Barren efforts will breathe again Stagnation will give way to movement, Newness of life begins from God’s appointed day.
5. NEWNESS OF LIFE IN PEACE
“In this place I will give peace.” (v.9)
This peace is not the absence of activity, but the presence of divine order. Restlessness ends. Striving ceases. Stability begins.
6. NEWNESS OF LIFE IN DIVINE SEALING
“I will make you like a signet ring.” (v.23)
God will seal His servants with authority and identity. What was once questioned will be confirmed. What was hidden will be recognized.

PRAYER
Genesis 24:12
And he said, O LORD God of my master Abraham, I pray thee, send me good success this day, shew kindness and unfailing love unto my master Abraham.
Today, I walk in Newness of Life. God’s Spirit remains with me. I fear not. I receive blessing from God’s appointed day. Greater glory rests upon my life. I am sealed and established in peace. In Jesus’ name. Amen.”

BEYOND CHRISTMAS: CELEBRATING EPIPHANY

Epiphany is a Christian feast celebrated on January 6, marking the manifestation of Jesus Christ to the world. The word Epiphany comes from the Greek epiphaneia, meaning “appearance” or “revelation.” It emphasizes not just the birth of Christ, but the revealing of who He truly is God made flesh, Savior of all nations.

Traditionally, Epiphany commemorates the visit of the Magi from the East, wise men who followed a star to Bethlehem in search of the newborn King (Matthew 2:1–12). Their journey is deeply symbolic. They were Gentiles, outsiders to Israel’s covenant, yet they were the first to recognize Christ as King, worship Him, and offer gifts of gold, frankincense, and myrrh. Through this event, God declared that salvation in Christ is not limited to one people, culture, or nation, but is offered to the whole world.

Epiphany also carries a broader spiritual meaning. It reminds believers that God continues to reveal Himself through Scripture, through the life and teachings of Jesus, and through the work of the Holy Spirit. Just as the star led the Magi, God still guides those who sincerely seek Him. Epiphany therefore calls Christians to be attentive, humble, and responsive to divine revelation.

Moreover, Epiphany challenges the Church to reflect Christ’s light to the world. Jesus is revealed not only to be worshiped but to be proclaimed. The feast urges believers to live as witnesses, carrying the light of Christ into places of darkness, injustice, and despair.

In essence, Epiphany is both a celebration and a calling. It celebrates the revelation of Christ as the Light of the world and calls every believer to follow that light, worship with sincerity, and reveal Christ to others through faith, love, and action.

TODAY WE CELEBRATE JESUS BIRTHDAY AND HIS REVELATION TO US

HEALING ON THE SABBATH pt2

Luke 14:3
And Jesus answering spake unto the lawyers and Pharisees, saying, Is it lawful to heal on the sabbath day?

Previously I explained that Jesus violated the understanding of the Jews about the law because they didn't have right understanding of the law. Since God declare Sabbath a day of rest they prefer not to do good on that day because they see doing good as work. And by this believe they were hypocritical because if they lost there sheep on the sabbath they will look for it but if it is about helping fellow man they will reject.

Jesus healing on the Sabbath doesn't mean he can't heal the sick on other days but he uses his action to explain that God's goodness can not be withhold from us on any day. In the parable of the good Samaritan we will see the priest and levite left the injured man to die because of their religious mindset but a Samaritan stoped and helped the man took him to hospital and promise to pay the nurses when he return.

We are the victim passenger, the thief was the devil, the levite and the priest were the law and the prophets, Jesus was the good Samaritan who for the sake of love spent his fortune and time to take care of us, he left us in the hands of the holy spirit and kept us in his church, he left and promise to come back for the full payment of the transformation of our body taking and bring us to where he is.

There is no condition that will make God to ignore you and leave you, his desire is to cure you and help you.
Say: I received help from Jesus

HEALING ON THE SABBATH pt1

John 5:10-12
The Jews therefore said unto him that was cured, It is the sabbath day: it is not lawful for thee to carry thy bed. He answered them, He that made me whole, the same said unto me, Take up thy bed, and walk. Then asked they him, What man is that which said unto thee, Take up thy bed, and walk?

A man we don't know his name was healed by Jesus on the Sabbath, the man had been sick and could not walk for 38 years. When Jesus healed him he asked him to carry his bed and walk but the Jews that saw him carrying his bed were not happy with him because they equate carrying his bed as working on the day everyone was asked to rest according to the law.

When I was reading this passage I thought Jesus violated the law but when I looked closely he didn't; what happened was that Jesus violated their understanding of the law and prove to them that Sabbath was made for man, man was not made for Sabbath.

God can violate the understanding of your doctor and bring you health. Any problem can be solve supernaturally without following the natural cause all you have to do is fix your eyes on Jesus. The embodiment of wisdom. Learn to declare Victory through Jesus name and you will see victory.

SALUTE NO PERSON BY THE WAY

Luke 10:4
Carry neither purse, nor scrip, nor shoes: and salute no man by the way.

Last year when my attention was drawn to this portion of the scripture, the money, traveling bag and shoe was not my major attention it was the salutation. Why would Jesus gave such instructions? After meditation I realized that the whole body of instructions was about distraction and lack of focus.

When it comes to focusing on what God ask us to do we should also look into the smallest thing that can bring distraction. Not all details are meant for every ear, companionship is not a must at some occasions.

If you continue that chapter there were specific people that needed the disciples salutation but if they started their journey greetings people, they may not get to those who really needed the message.

God gives instructions for specific reasons and if we follow those instructions we will be happy at last
