An Encounter That Makes Us New
Romans 6:5
For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection:
An encounter with Christ is never casual or temporary; it is transformative. When we truly meet Him, something within us is recreated. Old identities shaped by fear, sin, and brokenness give way to a new life rooted in grace and truth. This encounter does not merely improve us, it redefines us. In Christ, we receive a new identity and a renewed purpose.
As we are made new, Christ also assumes His rightful place in our lives. He becomes our High Priest, the one who stands before God on our behalf, reconciling us through His sacrifice. At the same time, He is our Chief Shepherd, lovingly guiding, protecting, and leading us into maturity and wholeness. Under His priesthood we find forgiveness; under His shepherding we find direction.
Thus, an encounter with Christ is the beginning of a lifelong journey of transformation, communion, and guidance. where we are continually shaped into who we were meant to be in Him.
