NewLife Liberty Church is built on the Lord Jesus Christ, the chief cornerstone “For no other foundation can anyone lay than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ” (1 Corinthians 3:11; Ephesians 2:19-20). Personal faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour which brings “New Life” is of the utmost importance to us followed by spiritual liberty, welfare and growth of believers (2 Cor. 5
:17; Luke 4:18; 1 Peter 2:2; 2 Peter 3:18). We are committed to raising new creatures set at liberty, diligently serving the Lord in holiness and righteousness
The Name, NewLife Liberty Church was coined from 2 Corinthians 5:17 and Luke 4:18 through the leading of the Holy Spirit: “When someone becomes a Christian, he becomes a brand new person inside. A NEW LIFE has begun!”(2 Cor. 5:17) TLB; “… To set at LIBERTY those who are oppressed…” (Luke 4:18) NKJV
We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God and the final authority in our lives. Hence, Bible study is strongly emphasised in our church. God’s Word is alive and powerful, pierces our conscience and heals our spirits. The Word received by faith is our life and strength. We strongly believe in holiness of life and righteous living as stated in the Scriptures: “…dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God (2 Co 7:1) …And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness (Eph. 4:24) ...For God hath not called us unto uncleanness, but unto holiness (1Thess 4:7) … Being delivered from the hand of our enemies, Might serve Him without fear, In holiness and righteousness before him, all the days of our life (Luke 1:74-75)”. We ardently and convincingly believe in the grace of healing and deliverance from sickness to health, from slavery to liberty, from darkness to light, and from the lowest degrees of misery to supreme eternal happiness, as clearly stated in the Scriptures: “... to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised…(Luke 4:18) …Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bo***ge of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God (Rom 8:21) … Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty (2 Cor. 3:17) ... Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bo***ge (Gal. 5:1)”. Our Core Values:
