Good morning.
Still on our study of faith release by speaking God's word. You have to understand that Jesus is not necessarily promising something that will happen instantly. More often than not, it is the anointing on a servant of God or sovereign manifestations of God's glory that does instantaneous miracles. When it comes to faith, it takes a bit of time depending on the strength of the spirit man and power of the faith being employed. It is on this basis that we are told that we need patience to live by faith.

Notice the way Mark 11:23 ends " . . . 𝒉𝒆 𝒔𝒉𝒂𝒍𝒍 𝒉𝒂𝒗𝒆 𝒘𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒉𝒆 𝒔𝒂𝒚𝒔". That is very significant. It tells you that the command will arrive later. How soon or late is not indicated. However we see that Jesus himself went through the same process when he cursed the fig tree. Have you observed that the miracles that happens to Jesus personally, that concerned his personal interests were never the ones that happened instantly except on the day he issued the storms to calm down. Most of his instantaneous miracles had to do with him bailing people out by the anointing like he said in Luke 4:18, "𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒔𝒑𝒊𝒓𝒊𝒕 𝒐𝒇 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑳𝒐𝒓𝒅 𝒊𝒔 𝒖𝒑𝒐𝒏 𝒎𝒆 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒉𝒆 𝒉𝒂𝒔 𝒂𝒏𝒐𝒊𝒏𝒕𝒆𝒅 𝒎𝒆 𝒕𝒐 . . ." In his personal miracle experiences, his faith and humanity were tested and a very good example was the cursing of the fig tree that led to this great lesson. On occasions when he was supposed to be killed by the Jewish leaders and he escaped, it was the anointed servant of God in him that was challenged hence those kind of outrageous intervention needed to happen because God is the saving strength of his servant.

So many times, because we don't understand our faith as believers we don't tend to get past the first stage of the whole temptation which was the disappointment from the fig tree. I have come to realize that most believers get defeated at that stage. The disciples of Jesus would have been defeated if they were the ones in that condition because they were too stunned when they saw that the fig tree had dried up. On the day, that he calmed the storm, they were too stunned that he could do that and were wondering the kind of man he was until he told them they could have done the same if they had faith. He told Peter that he could have made it successfully walking on the water if his faith had not been little.

You can rate your faith power by your response to the testimonies of the faith of others. If they look like special people to you, if you feel inferior to them, then you are poor in the understanding of faith. If however, you get gingered to achieve your own feats by their testimonies or you end up identifying your deficiencies from their own examples, then your faith will soon work. Notice that it is no crime if your humanity and faith are tested, it happened to Jesus as well. They have to be tested for you to know their statuses and value and identify what to work on more.

Good morning.
We have been looking at the release of our faith through word speaking. We saw that the word "say" in Mark 11:23 has three different applications. The first was Jesus' affirmation to us that what he was saying was perfectly sure. The second would be the command we issue to the mountain we want to move while the third is our affirmations to the different people, circumstances and spirits challenging our position of faith. The last use of the word only suggests the arrival of what we originally commanded at where we told it to go.

We live in a world where things have to move and shift grounds and positions if we will succeed, be victorious and do well in life. Once a man is a believer, there is a structure of resistance that Jesus refers to as the world would come against him. This resistance of the world against a man and especially against a believer can and will be overwhelming, hence why Jesus told his disciples to cheer up after defeating it. Most men have resorted to coping, at least that way they may not develop health issues. That is the best that medicine and psychological study can offer a man. It cannot move the mountains or defeat the world for him when it is also under the control of the same world. There is a difference between the earth and the world. It was the earth and its resources that God made. Man is expected to build or make the world out of the earth under the influence and control of God. However, because man fell, the devil has brought his own influence to make him build the world he (Satan) wants.

As at the time Jesus came to earth, the world is largely, Satan's and extremely oppositional to anything God or Jesus. He knew enough that it would oppose and overwhelm his people was the reason he made sure he overcame it before he left. All we have to do now is to make real his defeat of the world. The world will present itself as an enemy against the personal interests of believers and if it defeats them or compels them to bow to it, then, there is no way they can represent God's interests. They would rather be busy trying to make life work. This is why we have the potential (faith) to move things that should not naturally be moveable. It is one of the proofs that Jesus has overcome the world when we can change the narrative of how things are and are done in the world.

There is a world that does not want you to get good opportunities. There is a world that does not want what belongs to you but is in a distant place to arrive. There is a world that want to force you to live in and with sicknesses and diseases. There is a world that doesn't want things to work for you no matter how well you try. When we speak like Jesus said we should and can affirm to doubt that the command we have issued will work out and wait it out till it arrives, then, we have ended up controlling the forces that have put the resistant measures against us. They are not powerful as you think.

Good morning.
I began to talk about faith release through the speaking of God's word and issuing of commands to apparent mountains or problems yesterday. Speaking is the first example of God's faith displays. What we don't know is that God has decided to share his nature with man and faith living is one of them. To be confronted by unpleasant physical evidence was the first experience of God as stated in the Bible. He made the heaven and earth and suddenly the devil touched the earth and it became formless, empty and full of darkness. The faith nature of God sprang into action by not being intimidated or worried by them and the next thing was that he began to speak to change the status. it is the same ability that is already inside us that God is challenging us to bring out whenever he calls for spiritual growth.

Having established that we are as powerful as God at least in terms of operations and control of affairs on earth we should be motivated to operate using words the same way he did. We now have to know that anytime we speak words, especially God's word, there is a power that goes with it just like it went with God's word "let there be light". It begins to manipulate and control creation, events, circumstances, weather, systems, structures and so on until it brings results. Know that where the word of a king is there is power and who may say unto him, what have you done? That is the principle that governs the operations of the words of any king. Remember we have been made kings and priests by the sacrifice of Jesus, therefore all our words are supposed to be filled with power.

Having been established in this truth, the next thing is to begin to release the words with its power. This is what Jesus means when he says if we shall say unto a mountain to be removed it shall obey us. It will obey because it cannot stand against the power that is backing up the word.

A close look at that Mark 11:23 shows us certain pertinent things about the words we are releasing. The term "𝒔𝒂𝒚" in the verse is mentioned about four times and they all represent three different interests. The first "𝒔𝒂𝒚" represents an affirmation from Jesus, stating the assuredness of what he was saying while the second "𝐬𝐚𝐲" means to issue a command to the mountain. The third "𝒔𝒂𝒚" means affirmation also suggesting that after the believer would have issued the command, he should not just sit down, he has to be affirming to whoever is concerned that what he said will happen and in this context, anything or anyone that inspire doubt. The last "𝐬𝐚𝐲" talks about receiving the manifestation of the original command. The mountain has now been successfully removed and carried into the sea.

Good morning.
I rounded off yesterday suggesting the means by which we can hear God's word that will produce an unquestionable faith. Once you can understand that the knowledge of God's word is progressive and is largely about Jesus that has come to do his bits and gone back to the father to oversee things and that by those bits he did, you have been changed and better positioned in life and that the devil is defeated and under your feet and that you are destined to rule and reign by grace through the free gift of righteousness, it becomes easy for you to be confident against the devil, his assaults and lies. This is what Jesus means when he said "𝒉𝒂𝒗𝒆 (𝒂𝒄𝒒𝒖𝒊𝒓𝒆) 𝒇𝒂𝒊𝒕𝒉 𝒊𝒏 𝑮𝒐𝒅".

The next thing to do is to begin to issue commands to the mountain (visible problem) confronting you. Faith is recognized by nature and its elements. It is also recognized by spirit forces, angelic or demonic. God recognizes faith, Jesus does, the Holy Ghost does and even the devil does. Not only do they all recognize faith, it compels something in them or compels them into something. For instance, a man's faith makes him to be pleasing to God. A man's faith was what Jesus was looking out for for him to act on their behalf and help them overcome their challenges in the days of his flesh, he said to the father of the epileptic boy "if you can believe . . ." It was said concerning the epileptic man brought to Jesus by friends "when he (Jesus) saw their faith , he said . . . ". The Holy Ghost on the other hand is moved to release his power once he sees faith. The faith of a man makes demons to tremble about his interests and propels angels to work for him.

Faith is largely released through words of mouth, acts inspired by the spirit of God out of confidence and the and thanksgiving out of persuasion. In the context of our discussion and text, Mark 11:23, the release of faith here is through the words of our mouth. Do you know the reason why God made man in his image and after his likeness? It is so that you can be able to operate exactly like him. This thing we call eternal life is not just a way to win in life, it is the nature or DNA of God. This DNA, this eternal life was what made God to say "let there be light" and there was light. He has given us the privilege of being partakers of the same thing, as such, when we do what he did, we will get the results he got.

The devil doesn't want you to know that and when he realizes you are aware of it, he will mount pressures through some other lies to get you discouraged from further believing it. The fight of faith is simply a fight between the spirit man that is inclined towards God and shares his DNA and wants to see the expression of God's interest in the man's life and on earth through him in form of his victories and the flesh of man which is a programming of the devil to counter everything divine. Who will win is decided by who you make commitment to as a believer. Ensure to commit to the development of your spirit man always.

Good morning.
I rounded off yesterday saying that we have a duty to be intelligent in our faith acquisition. We are not just supposed to be listening to everything called the word or God in the name of building or acquiring faith. We must listen to messages that will give us correct information about the personalities that matter in deciding our destiny and outcomes in life. They are God, Jesus, the Holy Ghost, Satan, the angels and demons and lastly the man himself. The Bible is full of opinions and suggestions about these persons. The more accurate information we get about them, the easier it is to build faith. The more inaccurate the information is, the more the spirit of doubt will overpower us.

It is quite unfortunate that most believers don't even know that the knowledge of the word of God is progressive. He emphasizes different truths for different generations. For instance Hebrews 1:1-2 says "𝑮𝒐𝒅, 𝒘𝒉𝒐 𝒂𝒕 𝒔𝒖𝒏𝒅𝒓𝒚 𝒕𝒊𝒎𝒆𝒔 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒊𝒏 𝒅𝒊𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒔 𝒎𝒂𝒏𝒏𝒆𝒓𝒔 𝒔𝒑𝒂𝒌𝒆 𝒊𝒏 𝒕𝒊𝒎𝒆 𝒑𝒂𝒔𝒕 𝒖𝒏𝒕𝒐 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒇𝒂𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒓𝒔 𝒃𝒚 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒑𝒓𝒐𝒑𝒉𝒆𝒕𝒔, 2 𝑯𝒂𝒕𝒉 𝒊𝒏 𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒔𝒆 𝒍𝒂𝒔𝒕 𝒅𝒂𝒚𝒔 𝒔𝒑𝒐𝒌𝒆𝒏 𝒖𝒏𝒕𝒐 𝒖𝒔 𝒃𝒚 𝒉𝒊𝒔 𝑺𝒐𝒏, 𝒘𝒉𝒐𝒎 𝒉𝒆 𝒉𝒂𝒕𝒉 𝒂𝒑𝒑𝒐𝒊𝒏𝒕𝒆𝒅 𝒉𝒆𝒊𝒓 𝒐𝒇 𝒂𝒍𝒍 𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒏𝒈𝒔, 𝒃𝒚 𝒘𝒉𝒐𝒎 𝒂𝒍𝒔𝒐 𝒉𝒆 𝒎𝒂𝒅𝒆 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒘𝒐𝒓𝒍𝒅𝒔;". This is the foundation for everything the book of Hebrews teaches and don't forget that it is written to Jews who were under intense persecution for believing in Jesus while the leaders of the Jews were still emphasizing the law of Moses and the prophets. The former writings in the Bible, the old testament have to be seen in the light of where God is in the project he started long ago.

For example, I taught my members that Exodus 33 :19 that tells us that God says he will have mercy on whom he will have it and he will not show mercy to who he does not choose to has been fulfilled in us who have believed in Jesus as Lord and Savior. We are partakers of the ultimate mercy hence why we are told to BOLDLY approach the throne of grace and obtain mercy. That does not sound like someone who will have mercy by chance. If a believer does not understand that, he may still be looking forward to the day(s) when he win the lottery of God's mercy. What I just taught here is a good example of how the son is now speaking to is as against what God said to the fathers through the prophets.

The end time demons (including doubt) will operate asking people questions about their faith and unfortunately, the fathers, the men of old and even the angels may not have the answers in the sense that they were not given the privilege to know enough about the faith they prophesied about, the more reason why you have to listen to messengers of God who understand the new testament well enough and can interpret the suggestions of the old in the light of the it.

Good morning.
I have come to realize that living by faith seems difficult because of the enemies we fight when we attempt to live by faith. We have seen the world of possibilities available to us because we want to use faith according to Mark 11:23. However, most often we are hardly prepared for the spirit of doubt mentioned in the passage. It is the most difficult enemy to handle but it can easily be defeated when we do the right things. I have come to realize that God does not just tell his people to excitedly get involved in things until he has prepared them. As much as he wanted them to go into all the world to preach the gospel, he told them to hold on until they were endued with power from on high. He did this because he knew they would be defeated without getting adequately ready. In the context of faith use also, he expects us to be well prepared and grounded so we won't make a mess of our possibilities and end up being frustrated. In verse 22 of Mark 11 he told them "have faith in God". The word "have" here is a verb of acquisition. It talks of the efforts that must be put in place to get faith. Why? Because that is the way God will prepare us against the so called "doubt".

Why is this necessary? It is because there is a program and structure that funds doubt on a daily basis. Our senses meet what doubt uses to fight us daily. We cannot now sit back and expect to be adequate when doubt shows up and we have not funded our spirits with enough information, knowledge and truth it will fight with. That is why living by faith may look difficult and hard. I wish the people that taught me faith originally had not mentioned that it could be so difficult but that they rather let me know that it was my ill preparation that would make it difficult. The instruction is "have faith in God", acquire faith in God, busy yourself with what will bring faith to you. This is achieved as we decide to give yourselves to the study of God's program and project as presented in the Bible.

There is a little bit of vagueness to the statement that faith comes by hearing. Really, the Bible contains the right and accurate information about certain personalities that matter in the deciding of a man's destiny, especially the believer. The more you find out the truths about them, the more you will be developing faith. The truths about them counters the lies that doubt wants to use and so doubt becomes easy and easier to handle. The personalities include God in all his wonderful attributes of love, Jesus and all the price he paid to make us have fulfilled lives, the Holy Ghost and all the power he bring to make this destiny possible, the devil and the fact that he is defeated but will still try to tempt us to defeat us and lie to us. We also have angels and demons who respond depending on the choices of the believer or man. When you choose faith, angels will work on your behalf and when you choose doubt, demons will work against you.

Faith comes when we learn the truth about these personalities. Don't ever listen to anyone who may be making the devil look big. Don't listen to anyone who reduces the love of God, the sacrifice of Jesus and the power of the Holy Ghost no matter how honest he may seem to be about it. He is just honestly ignorant. It is only the Bible that can provide you with knowledge of the truth about the defeat of Satan, if you try to see him outside of the Bible, it will look like he is powerful and you and your faith will be weakened.

Good morning.
We saw yesterday that Jesus answered the fig tree and he had told us we can do the same. Our words are not ordinary. They are words of power, not because we are human but because we are redeemed humans. We are already restored back to the image and likeness of God and so we have the potentials it takes to make things work.

As at the time Jesus was teaching them the lesson, there was a literal mountain they could see around them and he told them that if they could order the mountain to be removed and be cast into the sea and don't doubt in their hearts but believe that what they said would happen, they would have it so. First, have you ever heard that a mountain ever got removed from one spot to another. that is naturally impossible. Scientifically, a mountain, especially, if it was an igneous rock would be a product of lava eruption and as a result, there would be much more of it inside the ground than can be seen above. So, I don't know of any technology that can do it. Jesus however says there is a power in your words to do it. This way, we can understand that Jesus is saying anything that cannot be done naturally, scientifically, technologically and so on can be done by faith and faith confessions.

Why is that so? It is because as we saw in Genesis 1, nature and creation are designed to obey God's words and invariably the words of those made in his image and likeness, you and I. I think one of the problems of believers in Christ is that we are not accustomed to the enormity of God's power and even of our own persons as God's creation and redeemed people. We don't have enough knowledge about God and us but the world we live in is bombarding us left, right and centre with ideas that are making the devil and his assaults great and unsurmountable. We have to be intentional if we must match the devil and overcome his assaults. In wildlife knowledge, men are told that if they confront an average wild animal suddenly that they could make themselves look big and make roars to scare the animal. That is what the devil does to us so many times and because we lack the knowledge of God's power and our own worth, we trend to be scared by him.

A believer that does not make it a habit to be studying the Bible and listening to messages intentionally and structurally will never end up well in the face of adversity.
