"As we step into the new year, I pray that God's blessings and favor be upon you. May this year be filled with joy, peace, and prosperity. May your heart be filled with hope and your spirit be lifted with faith.

As the Bible says in Jeremiah 29:11, "For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." May God's plans for you be fulfilled in this new year.

I pray that you will walk in the light of God's love and guidance, and that His presence will be with you every step of the way. May you be blessed with good health, wisdom, and success in all your endeavors.

As Psalm 23:4 says, "Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff comfort me." May God's comfort and peace be with you in every situation.

May this new year be a year of breakthroughs, miracles, and testimonies. May your life be a reflection of God's glory and love.

I wish you a happy, blessed, and prosperous new year. May God's name be glorified in your life.

In Jesus mighty name I pray."

There is no better time to pray.

Pray without ceasing.

There is no better place to pray.

You can pray everywhere but not for showmanship.

Prayer shouldn't be restricted to some factors or rules.

You don't have to feel to pray before you should pray.

Prayer exceeds feelings. With or without "flows", a believer should always pray.

Don't make prayer a drug prescription - 111 or 101.

In as much it's important to give yourself to praying in the morning and meditate on his word and study but it should not be done religiously.

If you forgot to pray why not pray when you remember. And meditate on some verses you have studied.

Do away with every doubts.

There is no special time for prayer, any time spent praying is special.

“I will therefore that men pray everywhere, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and doubting.”
— 1 Timothy 2:8 (WBS)

THE TWIN pillars of a believer’s daily life should be prayer and Scripture.

But while praying may be simple, it’s not always easy. We lack motivation, we’re easily distracted, and we are not always sure what we should be praying for.

So, recognizing our human inadequacies, God provides help for us in the form of the Holy Spirit.

“The Holy Spirit helps us in our weakness.”
Romans 8:26

Paul continues: “The Holy Spirit prays for us with groanings that cannot be expressed in words. And the Father...knows what the Spirit is saying, for the Spirit pleads for us...in harmony with God’s own will” (verses. 26-27).

That means, no matter how you feel when you pray, the Holy Spirit is in prayer with you and for you, transforming your feeblest prayers into powerful appeals to the Father.

Don't forget we're considering twin pillars of a believer's daily life.

The first of it is PRAYER.

And when it comes to the second pillar, namely the Word of God, the Holy Spirit’s role is equally dynamic.

Jesus said, “When he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth...whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come” (John 16:13).

Note, the Holy Spirit does three things according this text:

~ He guides us as we study the Word of God and seek to understand it.

~ He takes what Jesus wants us to know and reveals it to us.

~ He opens our understanding about things that are still to come.

No question, good reference books, Scripture-based resources, and skilled Bible teachers are necessary and helpful, but they’re no substitute when it comes to hearing from the Holy Spirit for yourself and listening carefully to what He wants to tell you.

Happy Sunday.😍

"You are my friends, if you do whatsoever I command you." ~John 15 : 14.

Can you see that? The only condition to be the friend of the One who all the powers in Heaven and on Earth belongs to, is to obey his commands.

The only way to show that you love God and that you're ready to be his friend is to willingly and gladly keep his words.

God's instructions must always outweigh your desires and personal programmes, if you claim you love him and that you're his friend.

You must follow God with perfect obedience, if you claim you are his friend.

Abraham for example, followed God with obedience. From human perspective, God's instruction to kill his only son might not really please Abraham's desire but we could see that he obeyed, that's a trait of God's friend - being ready to loose anything just for God.

What's the "Isaac" God is also requesting from you at the present moment, as an acclaimed God's friend? Are you ready to give? Ponder on that and decide.

There should be nothing you count as great in your life that you can not give God.

God doesn't discriminate whether you're young or old, once you keep his words, he'll be your friend. [Young and old, Samuel and Abraham respectively].

Adam and Eve exegesis. God gave out his words as their guide to eat not of the fruit in the midst of the garden but eat of the others...when they upheld this instructions in their life, God was relating with them as friends, he would even visit them in the garden but in Genesis 3, that they were obedient to the devil and cast aside the words of God, their life derailed from God's word, which is their foundation, and they become the enemy of God.

A great sign that made us to know that they become an enemy of God is that God sent them away from his garden.

Don't forget, you are only his friend, if you keep his commands and vice versa. You're God's enemy, if you keep not his commands.

Is once saved always or forever saved?

Yes. Once you have Jesus, you have eternal life.

Well, you might have heard it, I don't know, that "once saved is not forever saved." Believing that sin can still enter into a saved life, believing that if such doesn't live a life that's conscious of sin, s/he'd loose his/her salvation hence looses the eternal life. These shouldn't be into consideration again. Yes, they shouldn't be.

It should be; Lord help me to live a life that glorifies you. A life after your plans. A life extending your grace unto others. A life that expresses your love. A life that You'd be pleased to call Yours every now and then.
In brief, a life that keepeth your words. And not, a life that all the seconds of his/her life will be not to sin.

You have been bought with a price. Jesus coming to this world was to redeem man by saving us from our sins. Why coming, when you can do the "saving" yourselves? Huh? Why coming, when you being conscious of your sins, you can actually be freed all by yourselves?

You have been bought with a price, remember!?
"Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his(God's) seed remaineth in him and he cannot sin because he's born of God"~lJohn 3:9.

With this👆, we already know our qualification in Christ - His children. We've a new nature already, which is a "sin-freed" nature. An identity - a "sin-freed" persona.

You being conscious of sins again means you don't know your stand in Christ. Like you wrote a course and you have a 100% assurance that the result thereof would be an A. After some moment, you still went ahead by saying "I did it excellently but...name it". No matter what or how valid the "but" could be, it already negate your claim - that you did it well. So is this matter, you have a nature already, according to the lJohn 3:9 stated earlier, a "sin-freed" nature and a "sin-freed" persona. You still being conscious of the sins stated that you're free from - is a "but" - meaning you don't really believe you are freed from it, thereby negating your true nature in Christ.

You see... "[our] being born again, is not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God which liveth and abideth for ever" ~ lPeter 1: 25.

This will have a second part, to avoid the post being too lengthy.

Awaits OUR REQUIREMENT(S) - the second part.

9th of August, 2022.

| Faith || Salvation || Eternal life |

Salvation and faith are God's mission prior to entering heaven because they are the bedrock to have eternal life.

Receiving salvation means being a new creature, living a life that overcomes sin and remaining in Christ.

Having Faith means believing on God's word, and keeping his words. "...he that believeth on me hath eternal life." ~John 6:47.

Let's read... MATTHEW 19:16,17.
"And behold, one came and said unto him, Good master, what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life? ¹⁷• ...if thou wilt enter enter into life, keep the commandments."

Before the creation, God has promised eternal life. [Titus 1:2].

He made us in order to give us eternal life - to reign with him. Yes, it is this eternal life in us we shall pertake in his Kingdom.

As read, it was God that made this promise (of eternal life). Yes, ETERNAL LIFE is an ETERNAL PROGRAMME made by an ETERNAL GOD.

This eternal life is not what a being could destroy because it was what God has purposed on man.

It was not Adam who owns the programme, so whatever satan did with Adam and Eve has nothing to do with eternal life because, it is said in John 10:28 that "And, I give them unto eternal life, and they shall never perish; and neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand."

God gave us eternal life, it is now left for us to beckon it by accepting and believing on Jesus - the hope of eternal life. And there after, keeping His words.

It's a requirement that can only be acquired by our reception.

Have you welcomed it? Yes. The eternal life.

Have you welcomed the eternal life by Receiving SALVATION [ being a new creature, living a life that overcomes sin and remaining in Christ] and Having FAITH [ believing on God's word, and keeping his words.]

Once these two factors are intact in your life, you'll not only have eternal life has a hope[which mostly speaks about the glorification of our body] but you'll also have it as a reality, today[in the present moment of your life].

What are you waiting for? C'mon! Join the sails.☺️
