Alhamdulillahi wa solãt wa salaam 'ala rosoolillahi wa 'ala alihi wa ashaabihi wa sallim

To proceed,

The concise response on the first question is that sin will not be recorded for the person in as much as he or she is pleased with engaging in such an event and he or she is forced to attend it in the real sense

The evidence that supports this is an hadith that is authentically narrated from the prophet (sallallahu 'alayhi wa sallam) that:

"𝐀𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐡 𝐡𝐚𝐬 𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐞𝐝 𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐥𝐨𝐨𝐤𝐞𝐝 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐦𝐲 𝐌𝐮𝐬𝐥𝐢𝐦 𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐲 𝐞𝐢𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐝𝐨 𝐦𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐤𝐞𝐧𝐥𝐲, 𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐠𝐞𝐭𝐟𝐮𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐨𝐫 𝐛𝐞𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐜𝐞𝐝"

And by the second question, Almighty says in the Glorious Qur'ãn in surah al-mãidah verse 3 that:

"𝐀𝐧𝐝 𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐬𝐭 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐞𝐥𝐯𝐞𝐬 𝐮𝐩𝐨𝐧 𝐠𝐨𝐨𝐝𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐩𝐢𝐞𝐭𝐲 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐝𝐨 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐬𝐭 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐞𝐥𝐯𝐞𝐬 𝐮𝐩𝐨𝐧 𝐬𝐢𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐞𝐧𝐦𝐢𝐭𝐲"

And the scholars of fiqh (Islamic Jurisprudence) has established a principle thus:
"𝐑𝐞𝐩𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐟 𝐛𝐚𝐝 𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐬 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐛𝐞 𝐠𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐧 𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐠𝐨𝐨𝐝𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐰𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐲 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐛𝐨𝐭𝐡 𝐟𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐨𝐠𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐢𝐧 𝐚𝐧 𝐚𝐟𝐟𝐚𝐢𝐫"

Conclusively, any career to be chosen should be given critical consideration and measured with Islamic scale of permissibility and nonpermissibility before engaging in it to avoid having bad regret on it when it's even late to make amends

Finally, the ruling of engaging in such an event, and Allah knows best, is harãm because one has indeed aided them upon the commitance of sin by so doing!

To proceed,

Wa alaykumussalaam wa rahmatullahi wa barakaatuh

The prophet (sallallahu 'alayhi wa sallam) has advised us seek Allah's guidance in any matters of great importance (getting married as a good example) and then consult people of high wisdom on it
Now coming down to the question, the advice I would give the questioner is to, if she's finally ready to get married, do *'istikaaroh* then choose between the three men that sought her hand in marriage and introduce him to her parents without any further delay because Islam totally frowns at unlawful courtship, dating or mutual friendship between opposite gender and declare to the other two men that she didn't choose that she has been taken by someone already and therefore won't have the chance to accept their respective marriage proposals
But, if she she's not totally ready for marriage, she should fear Almighty Allah and declare to them all that she's not ready for what they are seeking from her supported by some reasons best known to her alone and wait for the time she thinks she would finally ready for getting married

Allah knows best!!!"

A gentle reminder as the days of Shawwal draw to a close...there are only a few days left to complete the six voluntary fasts.

The Prophet ﷺ said that whoever fasts Ramadan and follows it with six days of Shawwal is as though they have fasted the entire year.

Stay consistent, remain steadfast, and don’t miss out on this immense reward.

May Allah grant us the ability to complete it, accept it from us, and count it among our good deeds. Āmīn.

🩺 𝑴𝑪𝑨𝑵 𝑾𝒆𝒆𝒌𝒍𝒚 𝑯𝒆𝒂𝒍𝒕𝒉 𝑻𝒊𝒑

As-salqmu ‘alaykum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh 🤍

Don’t ignore fatigue — your body is speaking.

Between PPA, CDS, personal commitments, and trying to stay consistent with your Deen, it’s easy to push your body beyond its limits.

But constant tiredness is not something to normalize.

🔹 What you can do:

- Stay properly hydrated throughout the day 💧

- Get at least 6–8 hours of sleep whenever possible 😴

- Take short breaks when you can, even if it’s just a few minutes

🔹 From an Islamic perspective:
The Prophet (SAW) encouraged moderation in all things, including rest. Your body has a right over you.

Taking care of your health isn’t a luxury, it’s part of your responsibility (amanah).

Take care of yourself, so you can function better in your Deen and daily life 🌿

Following the establishment of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) in 1973, Muslim graduates recognized the need for a platform that would foster unity, faith, and mutual support during their service year.

This led to the establishment of the Muslim Corpers Association of Nigeria (MCAN) during the 1978/1979 service year.

Today, MCAN operates across all 36 states of Nigeria, including the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), with its national headquarters located in Abuja.

Over the years, the association has remained committed to promoting spiritual growth, community support, and impactful engagement among Muslim corpers throughout their service year.

The Osun Chapter proudly upholds this legacy, bringing together Muslim corpers in the state to grow, connect, and serve with purpose, in sha Allah.
