📍*MCAN Sensitisation Programme at Osogbo Local Government Secretariat*

Friday, 31st July, 2026

In line with our commitment to fostering unity and strengthening the bond among Muslim corps members in Osun State, the Executive Council of the *Muslim Corpers' Association of Nigeria (MCAN), Osun State Chapter,* conducted a three-day sensitisation programme for Muslim corps members at the *Osogbo Local Government Secretariat* following the Community Development Service (CDS) activities on *Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.*

The interactive sessions focused on the importance of unity, brotherhood, and active participation in MCAN. Corps members were enlightened on the objectives of the Association, the benefits of membership, and the need to build meaningful relationships that promote mutual support, professional networking, spiritual growth, and collective problem-solving.

The sensitisation also served as an avenue to introduce newly posted Muslim corps members to the activities and opportunities available within MCAN, while encouraging them to become active participants in the Association's programmes and initiatives.

As part of our efforts to sustain engagement and strengthen the bond among Muslim corps members in Osogbo Local Government, MCAN Osun State will, insha Allah, be organising *a monthly Da'wah session and interactive meeting at the Osogbo Local Government Secretariat Mosque.* The programme will hold during the *third week of every month* on the respective CDS days (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday) at *11:30am.* The sessions will feature short Islamic reminders, discussions on matters affecting Muslim corps members, networking, and updates on MCAN activities. We therefore encourage all Muslim corps members to participate actively and punctually, as these gatherings will serve as a platform for spiritual development, brotherhood, and mutual support.

We express our sincere appreciation to the *Local Government Inspector (LGI), Osogbo Local Government,* for her invaluable support in facilitating the sessions. We also appreciate the *Imam of the Local Government Secretariat Mosque* for graciously granting us the opportunity to address the Muslim corps members within the mosque.

May Allah (Subhaanahu wa Ta'aala) reward them abundantly for their support and accept all our efforts as acts of sincere service to His cause.
