And Saul said to him (David),whose son art thou...? And David answered I am the son of thy servant JESSE the Bethlehemite. 1 Sam.17:58
Let me quickly draw out 3 important things to deliberate on from the above text: Sonship, fatherhood and nationhood of David. These three factors work together to bring about how great an individual will be!
David was the youngest of the eight sons of Jesse, he was far less, and too young to be enlisted into the army of Israel. He was confined to the wilderness only to tend and feed his father's sheep. Earlier in verse 28 of the chapter under review, his elder brother, Eliab rebuked him and questioned his presence at the war front! Yet this was the boy who was supposed to be the deliverer of Israel
I am a son of Jesse! Meaning? GIFT, WEALTHY. I am a son of a Wealthy Gift. I came as a gift to you and the entire nation of Israel! I am an offshoot of wealth, I am here to make you wealthy. That is who you are!
I came from Bethlehem--- house of bread! Whatever hardship, starvation or economic downtown you are facing I have come to bring an end to them!
Whose child are you? Who is your father and from what city? The greatest pride one can have is to be a child of the most powerful, most influential and wealthiest in a given locality. Whose child are you? .... But as many as received him(Jesus) to them gave he power to become the child of God John1:12.
Are you a child of God? You can be one now by accepting Jesus as your Lord and Saviour. He came as a gift to save humanity from Satan's affliction. As David delivered Israel from the hands of the Philistines and Goliath so can you. The entire world around you are waiting for your manifestation. Are you ready?

It's all about family! Joseph, Moses, Samuel, David...... Jesus Christ etc came out of one family or the other and were a blessing to their world!
Secret? UPBRINGING (prov22:6; prov4:3-4) How you were brought up goes a long way in determining who you are and what altitude you will reach. You are a direct product of what was planted into you, you are a reflection of your family.
Thank God for Jesus, the one given to us this season of Christmas, from the tribe of Judah, brought up in the fear of God and filled with Holy Spirit to fulfil the work of redemption for man (Matt.1:21).
Your past can be redeemed if only you determine to relate with Jesus the giver of life! He changes things and make them new again (Matt.12:33) He will set you on the right track and take you to your place of destiny fulfilment.

The secret of success and Break through is to identify who you are in God your creator and the people you are sent to per unit of time. Ignorance of who you are will make you loose your worth. This is what the devil is looking for to give any individual a perpetual defeat.
Have you given your life to Jesus? Are you born again? Then this is who you are as the word of God says of you:
(1) You are an image of God--. (Gen.1:27) So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them
(2) You are a child of God-- ( John.1:12) But as many as believed him, to them gave he power to become sons of God....
(3) You are Gods------ (Psalm 82:6) I have said ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High.
These three names that God says you are are an indication that you are not just a mere man but somebody who is equipped with power to be great in life
Dear reader,you are sent to a Particular person or a family. You are sent to go and make a difference of the people you are sent to. Start your assignment from your family, begin to intercede for for family until Satan is banished and restoration takes place. Until you are successful locally you may not be given a global assignment.
Strength to rise up and take your place in global assignment is released unto you in Jesus name.

The principal partner in home building as ordained of God is the man/husband. Gen.3:11-16. Because God has bestowed headship upon man, a lot of responsibilities are laid upon his shoulder. Therefore, a home is a function of the strength or otherwise of its head.
One of the many roles saddled the man in the family is the responsibility of meeting the material needs of the family. 1Timo.5:8. The head of the family is expected to provide all material needs of the family-- food, clothing, housing, children education, health and total wellbeing of the entire members of the family. Apart from these, the Spiritual wellbeing of the family and the discipline status of the family hangs on his neck. If the centre of the family does not hold no other person is to be blamed but the head!. 1Sam.3:11-13.
To be able to play these roles effectively, you need divine empowerment. This can only happen when you give your life to Jesus Christ. He alone gives all resources needed to have success in life. Silver is his, gold is his also. Without Him we can do nothing but amazingly, with Him all this are possible!. Haggai 2:8; John 16:4-5; Philip.4:13.
Do you want excellence in your family? Come on board with me to JESUS and glory will descend on you and your family.

A home is like a building, different artisans need to work on it before it becomes habitable. Architect, structural engineer, civil engineer, carpenter, painter etc need to collaborate to bring about an enviable edifice that any body can pray to have. In like manner a home comprises of the father, mother, the children and other members that may live together with them in the house have their individual roles to play for a strong, glorious and an enviable home to come about.
How individual plays his/her role determines how strong or otherwise his home will be. What is your position in your home? What role is expected of you to play as laid down in the word of God? These and more will be exposed to us in subsequent bulleting by the grace of God. Be expecting .
