Theme: Glorious Supernatural Advancement.
Key Points:
What is Glory.
Glory is the quality in something or person that secures Honour or praise.
•God's Glory isn't about the clothes we wear, our skin colour, height, or any physical attributes. Glory in advancement is the one that comes from God.
•The Glory of God made Paul the most reputable apostle of Christ.
What is Supernatural?
Something divine, extraordinary, is beyond human comprehension, intellect, science.
•When God is in motion, who can stop him?
•By Supernatural grace from God we will hit another level.
•Supernatural cases doesn't depend on profession of any person like in the case of peter when he tried to show it when Jesus told him to cast the net again. (Luke 5:1-8).
What is Advancement?
The act of moving forward, the state of progression, improvement in anything we do.
•God is able to advance us. The enemy can't disrupt or hinder his advancement in our lives. Like in the case of the Israelites when they were leaving Egypt. Neither the sea could stop them nor did the Egyptians because it was God that was advancing them. This is the characteristics of God's Advancement.
What will advance our lives.
1. Power
2. Authority.
•Jesus gave the disciples power and authority to enable them advance.
•Many of us carry power but no authority and vice versa. Power and authority must work hand in hand for successful advancement.
• Some of us carry authority but the devil plays with our possessions as he pleases due to lack of power.
•When we carry power with authority, we don't need material possessions because the wealth of hidden places is within our command (Luke 9:3), we wont need assignments that is very common in Christianity today.
•Peter was one of the apostles with power and authority. He didn't need educational training to be able to speak convincing Words to people with boldness. ( Acts 4:13).
•The disciples came back with 5000 men after receiving power and authority from Jesus. This is a supernatural result. 12 men producing 5000men. (Luke 9:10-14). That's why we need this power and authority to advance..
•We have a supernatural God, why then do we doubt him? Why do we allow obstacles to overwhelm us. (Luke 9:13-17).
•Step out of your limitations, failures and what will turn down your advancement.

Theme: Glorious Supernatural Advancement.
B/r: Matthew 6; 25-34
Key Points.
•Our God knows what we want before we ask anything from Him.
•If God knows everything about our wants, it means he has the capacity to provide what we need.
•God did not say this so that we will bow before him. He doesn't boast. God said it because He is God, for surely he owns everything..
Why do some of us not get what we want even when God owns everything:
1. We make requests like pagans, as people who don't know God. (Matthew 6:32).
•Our requests are tied to the present.
•God has a plan for us. So you need needn't always disturb yourself with things of the present.
•We make pagan like requests that shows lack of faith when we repeatedly ask God for a particular need overtime.
•Jesus knows all, so we don't need to be nagging about anything. It shows we don't trust that he will answer. (Matthew 6:28-30).
2. We ask things that are not aligned with God's will.
For e.g. a child sees a car, or a nice attractive vehicle passing by. The child request for a car after seeing how wonderful it was. If such is given to the child, would he/she be able to drive the car? Would the child be given licence to drive by anybody? He or She needs to be matured enough to own and handle a car. That's how God gives unto us. He gives when he knows we are ready.
•Solomon made a very good request, a sensitive one. He didn't ask for what some of us would likely request for when given such opportunity. At the end God gave him everything added with his request for wisdom.
•we shouldn't act like children whereby, our faith can be tossed over and over repeatedly.
•Why do we worry over things that the world fights, kills, lies to get as Christians when God can give them to us if we make right requests. (Matthew 6:28-32).
•We should seek first God's kingdom and righteousness and we will gain everything. (Matthew 6:33). This is what God wants from us.
God often Immediately answered Daniel because he resorted to not defile himself in Babylon.
•The privilege to gain wealth, recommendation from people in authority, shouldn't make us backslide or turn down our faith in God.
•God will advance us to a place or state where we won't lack what we want. If we seek first his kingdom and his righteousness.
3. We are not patient enough.
We should pray that God should help us submit to His wisdom.
May God help us in Jesus name, Amen.

Topic: What hinders Advancement. (Contd. From morning session).

Text: Numbers 12:1-16
Key Points:
1. Gossip.
A gossip is someone who enjoys discussing about someone else or their personal matter. He/She takes delight in creating chats about someone. To gossip is the act of talking about someone else.
Gossip always entails;
•The Reason for gossip.
•The group for gossip.
•The Subject of the gossip.
Gossip hinders advancement like in the case of Miriam. (Numbers 12:1-16). Gossiping about people's advancement often follows envy or comes before envy. If we don't like people succeeding, how then will we be successful.
×When we want to indulge in gossip, we should bear in mind that God hears and Sees you anywhere, anytime. Miriam started the gossip in secret(Numbers 12;1-2) but God who saw and heard them, exposed them in public.(Numbers 12:4-9). We should be careful.
×due to what Miriam and Aaron did, the journey the Israelite planned to take was delayed because of gossip. They had to wait for good seven days.
Gossip can delay advancement not only in the life of a gossip but it also can affect the Subject of the gossip and people around the group like the church. We should refrain from gossiping if we really want God's advancement.
• Since we are looking for advancement, we should stop doing things that are potential hindrances to it.
May God give us the grace to do this in Jesus name, Amen.

DAY 5, EVENING SESSION.

Text:Psalms 120:2
Key Points:
What to do to get advancement from God that will be glorious.
1. Put away lies. (Eph 4:25).
• Say the truth always to one another, anywhere you find yourself.
• We must be ready to speak the truth if we want God’s advancement.
2. Do away with anger. (Eph 4:26).
• Satan often uses anger to cause strife among believers, thereby hindering advancement that s needed in the church. We ought to try as much as possible to overcome anger.
3. Avoid Stealing. (Eph 4:28).
• If you continue taking what’s not yours, how then would you expect God to advance you? With what would He advance you? Is it what you stole? Or your robbery activities?
4. Be Careful for what proceeds out of your mouth. (Eph 4:29).
• Our tongue can cause our downfall. It can bring destruction, failure in any activity we may undertake.
• Let our words be words of encouragement, blessings and not curses. let good things come forth out of your mouth.
5. Do not grieve the Holy Spirit. (Eph 4:30).
6. Do not allow wrath, bitterness, anger, malice rule your life. (Eph 4:31).
• If we want God’s advancement, we need to do away with all that is not a Christ-like character.
7. Always be forgiving. Learn to forgive one another as Christ had forgiven us. (Eph 4: 32).
May God give us the grace to do these in Jesus name, Amen.

Theme: Glorious Supernatural Advancement.
SubTheme; How to prepare for the Storm that may come during Advancement.
B/r: Matthew 7;23-27
Points;
• It's not only good things that may come during the period of advancement. Storms of life may appear. That's why we have to be prepared for it.
•We also are not going to sit at home and the Advancement we expect will come.. We have to work for it.
•Lazy Man doesn't deserve food.
•Storms renders their victims helpless. It doesn't give room or option for escape.
•It shouldn't be because its time for advancement and we refuse to be awake/alert in case Storm surfaces.
•Build your house on a solid rock that never collapses during times of storms.
•Think of how to build this house while considering the cost both the after and before cost. Make a good choice.
•build it on a ground you think will benefit you. If u want a house that can last forever no matter the waves that may beat it, choose the solid ground for its foundation.
•Whoever listens to what God says and does them, is building his/her house in a solid ground and he/she is termed "wise". (John 7;24-25). Don't be act foolishly.
•If we don't prepare, we may start placing blames on people or things which is not always the case.
•Don't be afraid or perplexed in times of storm. Wherever it may originate from, we shouldn't fear because God is there to help us.(Matthew 8: 24-26).
•The Ultimate Preparation we can have is to give our life to Christ.
May God help is to be prepared and not waver in our faith during times of storm in Jesus Name, Amen.
